Hello everyone! For this PbP Gameday I'll be offering The Technic Siege. This scenario has a reputation for going a little long, so I'm hoping that PbP can help do it justice.
Some notes:
- While I am an experienced GM, I am not as experienced with PbP. I ran some games for PbP Gameday 2, and it seemed to go well, which is why I'm going for it again. I'm going to try to tweak some things this time, but feel free to look at my profile for the previous games I've ran to see my style before you sign up.
- My expectation is that you will post on most days. I understand that due to various reasons you won't have time to post every single day, but please make an effort to post most of the time, especially when combat is a thing that is happening.
- When you sign up, please post with what character you wish to play this with.
- I am open to running multiple tables again, so even if there are already 6 people signed up, feel free to sign up as well.
- Grand Lodge and The Exchange characters are encouraged! You'll have the opportunity to further your factions' goals in this scenario.
- As I said earlier, this scenario tends to go long. Be aware that this will tie up your character for a while. There is a lot of stuff that you can do.
And on that note, let the signups begin!

Iron Man checking in. He is 5th and, like all my characters, kind of under-powered so I would very much like to play down with a full (6 person) table if possible.
I just played him through Trial By Machine pbp and I got to play him in The Silver Mount Collection at a Con this past weekend.

APL is looking pretty solid in the lower tier. It's probably good for you - it means that you only have to fight a clockwork soldier instead of a clockwork golem.

If GM Mars OKs you to play I'll recommend you upgrade from adamantine Blanch to Durable adamantine. We ran into some issues in the above andventure because our Zen archer had the one and not the other since Blanch only works on DR and not Hardness.

The hardness of those golums really annoys me to no end. Having them at tier 3-4 is pretty unreasonable. Only thing saving us was a strong 2 hander and my charging summoner.
I always have my bombs if they are needed :). The cost for adamantite is so high and they shouldn't expect people to just one at this level range.
The amount of hardness is just too high. If it was 5 it should be fine, but 10... Unless you have a decent power attacking full bab'er it's hard to make it.

We also almost went home in the middle of the last fight. When the boss turned out to be a swarm and tried to go up Iron Man's nose; he was done.

Well, this is going to be an interesting table.
Oh god. I played that 6-7 with 4 people. My summon-focused wizard was just constantly spitting out earth elementals only to have them keep getting popped by the robots. We had to leave, get adamantine, and come back.

The game starts tomorrow! Are you guys excited? I know I am.
Some business before we begin:
- I would like to see everyone's character sheet at the beginning of the game. I understand that not everyone likes to reveal their character sheet to everyone else, so if you want to send me your sheet in private, that's fine. Don't worry about not having purchasing done or having your spells prepared - you'll have plenty of time to take care of that before the 2nd mission briefing.
- I like Iron Man's posting in the discussion thread, so if everyone could follow that it would be fine (although again, if you're not comfortable posting your real info publicly, feel free to send it to me privately.) You don't need to roll Day Jobs now if you don't want to.
