PbP Gameday #2 GM Tektite's Devil We Know Series (Inactive)

I am looking for players for the Devil We Know series. This is a four part series. I am confident that we should be able to get through three of the four under the Gameday time frame, but we will complete all four scenarios. The PbP Gameday starts on Apr. 5

@Hyglak: I see you posted in both of my recruitment threads. Just want to make sure you know that a PC is only allowed in one game at a time. It appears you have a character, Cyrus, in Kludde's Prince of Augustana and also in Daway's Night March of Kalkamedes.

Same here. If you have room for Parts II and III let me know. I missed those two parts. Or I can play through Part I for no credit just for continuity's sake. I've got a few characters I can pay depending on tier.

FYI - If you find yourself in need of players, I can help fill a seat; but for no credit. But, if there are other players who can fill the seats, by all means; use those.

I'll like to play the series. I have a 2nd level human ranger I'm thinking would work well.

Plenty of room still, though I may run this as a four player table to accommodate Alice and Endless later on.

What we have so far:

Hyglak- Cleric 1 (also applying to Frostfur)
Glenn H -Ranger 2
Stetrix- Witch 1
Wicked Brew- Sorcerer 2

Depending on which PbP Hyglak decides on, we either have a table or need one more.

@Everyone:I like to run fairly briskly paced games and have about 50 PbPs under my belt. Believe me, I understand that day to day stuff happens. It happens to me all the time. As long as everyone posts once or twice a day (minimum), we will get through our games in about four weeks time. So we should easily be able to knock out three scenarios during the Gameday. More scenarios means more entries to win a boon! If something comes up, just let us know in the Discussion tab.

Other than that, I always hope everyone has fun on my tables. If your not having fun or think we are going to fast, please say something or send me a PM.

I've never actually done Pathfinder Society over the forums. Will I need to do anything differently than usual if I apply with a character?

Also, I'm assuming I should be using a character I don't plan to use in live PFS sessions any time soon, right? (I.E.: Probably make a new one?)

I'm debating joining this. I'd like to sign up, and I'll definitely have time during this coming week (it's my Spring Break) to post more than once a day. However, starting the week after I'll probably only be posting once a day, save for weekends. I could post a general character battle strategy in case I miss a day, if that helps.

We start on Apr 5 right? If so, I may run a few scenarios with my witch to bring her up to or close to 2nd level. Or would you rather start her with that nice fresh witch smell? Regardless, looking forward to 1st PbP game.

I have several characters in tier so I can adjust to what the rest of the party brings.

Hey Tektite, I could play Parts 1-2 for no credit with this character. Just to have some continuity. But if you find you have 6 people clamouring for spots I'd be happy to give mine up :)

@DM Tektite just put me in which every Scenario you think my character will help the most. He is a ranged/buffer cleric not a bandaid. Thanks.

With Alice and Endless coming in for pts 3/2&3 respectively.

What are your thoughts about me playing through 1-2 for no credit, just for the continuity factor? I'm cool with either doing so or not doing so.

It's been almost 5 years since I played 1-2, so I won't even have to pretend I don't know what's going on!

I might do the same thing and play parts I and IV for continuity's sake. I will have just finished GMing the series (half-way through Part IV now) so it'll be harder for me to pretend I don't know what's going on but I'll try my hardest!

Now I just have to decide who to bring. Looks like everyone else is 1-2. The lowest I have free right now are level 4 but I don't want to ruin everyone's fun by destroying everything so I might have to create a new level 1. I'll think about it though. I'd rather put credit on one of my 4s so I might just have them sit back a bit.

He's level 4 and won't hit 5 until after Part III.
