Just a reminder, you just snuck into Skyreach, killed the last line of defense, and now stand before an unguarded Hao Jin Tapestry

As Shohiraj starts to make an exit, Marnarious calls out "Our mission is right here before us!" With these words, and finding nothing of note on the paladin, he moves to the tapestry himself and begins to open the portal.

I am just assuming here, but with his history with the Tapestry, Marnarious should know how to open things up. If I am wrong, please let me know.

"We have friends on the other side waiting to exact their own revenge, and I would not leave them wanting. Lets get this done!"

    322 CAN make it work...

A thin slit appears down the middle of the tapestry, and then its whole center tears open in a deafening rip and a crack of thunder. Planar winds whip out from the frayed fabric for several seconds as purple lightning dances in the tattered wound. The gusts die suddenly, and the fabric stretches painfully to create an aperture nearly 10 feet wide, revealing a peaceful woodland occupied by a growing army.

A woman bedecked in chainmail and scars steps through into the room and then motions for those behind her to remain still. She surveys the chamber for a moment before a broad, genuine smile cracks her tough expression. “By Hanspur’s soggy hide, I never thought I’d see this world again.” She shakes her head and wipes away a tear before it can quite form. “The name’s Wolona, bronze rank. We’ve got good news and bad news on the other side. The good’s that everyone we expected to show up did, plus some more besides. The bad news is that some of them are starting to believe we’ve set them up.” Wolona clears her throat loudly as though no more need be said.

“The only thing keeping them from just killing each other and the rest of us is my promise that there would be a welcoming committee who might prove this place exists and that it’s not all a trap.” She starts to turn back to the portal. “Think you can give them a little pep talk?”

Wolona hardly waits for you to agree before muttering, “I hope they haven’t killed each other already” and stepping back into the demiplane. She returns a moment later leading an eclectic entourage of about 15 delegates and war leaders, including humans, a halfling covered in bright war paint, a hag, an owl-headed humanoid, a yeti, a pony-sized green dragon, and more. They jostle one another while inspecting the room and prodding the corpses of the erstwhile Pathfinders...

Everyone seems genuine, just that they have a lot of pent up rage. The murmurs come in a few languages, but the sentiment is the same, they just want to randomly start killing everything. EVERYTHING. Wolona jumps in, "The Aspis promised them freedom and gold AFTER we win the day. They just need direction and FAST."

Rataji clears his throat and steps inside the demiplane and adresses the good aspis people waiting there:"Friends! Camerades! The time of our revenge is at hand! The hated pathfinders are in disarray and chaos, seeds sowed by our own subtle hand that flourished beautifully, while we were able to reach the very earth of their power and free you from your imprisonment! That's right! The Aspis consortium keeps its word, and freedom is now just a few paces away for you all! But, before walking out of here remember: we are currentlu deep inside Skyreach, most of the enemy is fighting outside but danger still abounds. So, pour down of here, move towards the exit and join the battle outside... and of course, kill any pathfinder you'll meet on your way out while we get deeper into the beast's lair in order to cut its head off! The hour of our triumph is finally at hand!"

Then Rataji whispers to Marnarous:"If you know someone particularly skilled now is the time to pick him up for some extra credit with the higer ups..."

The crowd seems to be swayed by the collective reasons and confidence of the agents. Their chatter becomes aligned to a cause. It starts to grow in volume when the dragon silences them all with a snarl. The juvenile dragon, called Gazwyr, approaches the group. "Wolona spoke of a group that would neutralize the Pathfinder powerful mage who commands the tapestry and OWNS all of the arcane books. I will accompany you"

Upon hearing this, Wolona steps in to try to discourage this, citing that she can’t spare specialists like Gazwyr in taking her objectives. "If you go with them, I need one of YOU to come with me."

Yes, you may have a dragon join your party, but the player who takes the role of the dragon must in turn give up their current character. I know it's a pain to make yet another profile, but you get to play a DRAGON. If more than one of you is keen on it, we'll simply roll for it. I would like everyone to get to throw their badge in for the chance before deciding, so I won't advance until everyone speaks up either yay or nay.

Oh hell yea.. do you even have to ask????? My hat is definitely in the ring for this one!

Anyone with an incomplete mission can pass it on to the dragon essentially. It's a bit more complex than that, but don't let it stop you from shooting for a chance at being a dragon. Trust me :-)

WOW, lucky you guys, I used some good rolls on you.

Even with a dragon, you expertly move through Skyreach without detection. Your directions lead you to a set of heavily reinforced wooden double doors that bow outward slightly, one of which has a small mail slot roughly three feet off the ground. You can hear a buzzing hum from within the room.

I may be wrong but given that we just got a dragon I feel like we're probably at the climax, she'd probably be more in the way than helpful at this point, just my 2 cents. Especially because I think she was a sorceress not a wizard.
