"There's likely a protective ward on the door, but be my guest I suppose.
Was Joliryn able to see anything through the mail slot? Knowing how many enemies, and where they are would be helpful before combat, although all this talking likely took the surpise out of it.
Dungeon Master S
Sorry, I missed that you looked through the slot.
Joliryn opens the mail slot and a single piece of paper falls out towards you. Before anyone can stop themselves, someone looks at the paper. It explodes instantly.
Everyone make a DC 14 REF to take half of FORCE DMG: 6d6 ⇒ (1, 4, 4, 1, 4, 6) = 20
It blows the door wide open.
This tall library is ringed by a walkway around its perimeter, which provides access to a second level of towering bookshelves. A broad Qadiran rug leads to a short pedestal within a tall glass case that itself sits within an inscribed circle—all cordoned off by a velvet rope suspended by brass poles. A strange armillary pulses with energy from atop the pedestal. Several plush chairs and a few low tables bearing curiosities and curios line the lower floor, and two decorative suits of armor stand at attention, each with a crossbow resting against its shoulder. Heatless torches blaze with remarkably even light in sconces throughout the room, and a tall pendulum clock on the eastern wall ticks each passing second.
Inside you see a man, ready, wearing a look of absolute fury on his face. He is already casting a spell...

Zurnzal's killer instincts heighten enough to resist the spell. Then the leader's spell of speed makes him even faster. He quickly prepares himself for a grappling mode and dashes in hold down the vile Pathfinder wizard.
Swift action Martial Flexibility for Improved Grapple. 2 MF left!

Action explodes in the library. The slow spell takes effect, and is quickly countered by Rataji. Marnarius launches arrows that slam into the wizard. Zurnzal rushes in and gets the Master of Spells in a massive bearhug. The dragon lumbers into the room, ready to tear the man to jerky.

As the agents rush into the room, clicks and twangs sound as traps go off. The suites of armor lift their crossbows. One actually fires a bolt at Zurnzal Trap: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (5) + 10 = 15 the bolt includes a tanglefoot bag which explodes over the wizard and his enemy. Make a reflex save DC 15.
Suddenly a SECOND Aram Zey appears up above. This one looks like his skin is turned to stone, but the sneer is unmistakable. "You worthless wretches. You'll DIE for this. I can't believe the Consortium would send CHILDREN. He weaves a spell that causes the glass case holding the Sky Key to shiver. Lightning erupts on Marnarius (REF DC 23 for Half) and arcs to Zurnzal, Joliryn, and Gawzyr (REF DC 21 for half). The lightning causes 11d6 ⇒ (3, 3, 1, 6, 1, 6, 5, 6, 4, 3, 3) = 41 DMG.

Marnarious dives back out the door, still barely able to stand from the electricity strike. As soon as he reaches what he prays is a safe distance, he starts drinking potions.
Cure Serious Wounds: 2d8 + 1 ⇒ (1, 6) + 1 = 8
I have one more potion after this. If I survive long enough to get it into me, I am going to guess that my only option is going to be a suicide archery charge unless anyone has any better ideas?

Rataji blasts the REAL Aram Zey with a lightning bolt REF: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 8 = 23. The wizard dodges most of it. "Pathetic! You'd still be trainees under me.". His insult is sandwiched between another attack, dragon's breath! REF: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12, and takes the full brunt of it! Marnarius prepares his soul for an archery charge.

Well, if someone wants to be thrown at Zet and get a free atatck Rataji can do it (if zey is between 40 feet of the person being thrown). That said, dispelling his flight would be a great boon, but using the scroll Rataji has could be a bit risky. Anyway next round Rataji tries to cast his scroll of flight on Zurnzal or Gazwyr if they come near him. Hopefully Zurn can tackle Zey while the dragon should have enough attacks to get rid of his stoneskin (I suppose he looks stony because of that)
Zurnzal, The Ambitious

Rataji, how does that work? I can do 1d8+6+2d6 on a single sword strike, but each strike does another 1d6 back to me. Bad part of this is we have to find a way to circumvent the stoneskin spell first in order to be truly effective.
Works as detailed below
from any location within 40 feet to any other location within 40 feet.
This movement causes the ally to provoke attacks of opportunity. If
he causes the ally to land adjacent to an opponent, the ally can spend
an immediate action to make a melee attack against that opponent
with a +2 bonus on the attack roll.

"You think me an apprentice you consortium flunkie?! I see you plan as day. Invisibility won't fool me for a second!" To spite Joliryn he begins to cast a devastating powerful evocation spell that would likely take out half the team.... except the Dispel counter works like a charm abjuration.
No joke, that would have likely been 2 moves from check mate, extremely high DC save, can get most of you, and 11d6 ⇒ (4, 2, 5, 3, 1, 3, 4, 4, 5, 6, 2) = 39 dmg on a fail. Best Dispel Magic use ever.

I would like this to happen as the last turn in this round. Not sure what area effects the rest can cause, but I don't want to be in the way of them! Perhaps I can even get flanking on this somehow.. that would add another +2/2d6 to my attack.
Marnarious drinks down his last potion and draws his sword as he moves to the tunnel mouth "DO IT" he screams at Rataji, looking up that the hated Aram Zey Swift action Studied Target. "You will pay for your crimes, wizard!"

"That's the attitude every agent should sport! Marnarious I commend you for your dedication, now go and make the Consortium proud!" exclaims Rataji while sending the burly fighter hurling towards Aram zey!
Move cast telekinetic charge on Marnarious sending him in CC with Zey (hoping he's standing near something solid)Edit: after some consideration I don't think I can 5 ft step back since Rataji probably needs to see Zey in order to throw Marnarious at him
Dungeon Master S
You can't 5' step if you moved earlier in the round. I'll assume you want to stick with the plan, just without the 5' step after.
The wizard's eyes go wide as the agent streaks towards him. He tries to stab awkwardly with his dagger AoO: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22 and nicks the man for DMG: 1d4 ⇒ 1. It pales compared to the damage Marnarius causes! Aram is now bleeding profusely, and the widen eyes don't return. He knows this is to the death...

@Marnarious: I was on mobile when I posted last night and couldn't move myself on the map, but I should be where X is. I think Rataji understood and moved you appropriately. Plus side is that you got a flanking bonus, too, which is now moot since the GM announced your success :)
Grinning at the now surrounded Zey, Zurnzal smiles. "This is gonna feel good.", the half-orc moving to grab the Society wizard.
Move action to use my 2nd to last Martial Flexibility to gain Improved Grapple and Chokehold, which I can use next round if my grapple is successful :)
