The man simply grins wider at that. Ooh, burn! Anybody want to actually talk to this guy?

Khakil cracks his knuckles and leans over the man.
"Alright, Mr. Righteous Fury: You don't seem to have a problem sharing information about your collective. Why don't you enlighten us further, this time without all of that flowery propaganda included? What is your goal and doctrine?"

Cadmuk approaches the fallen Pathfinder and speaks to him.
"I am Cadmuk, an agent of the Pathfinder Society. I understand you have issues with the decimivrate. What message to have want us to convey to them? Why do you have such an issue with them?"
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (18) + 9 = 27

The mans cheerful expression and tone do not falter. "You can tell them that their reign is at an end. They will be destroyed. And you along with them. The Shadow Lodge has had enough of their carelessness and selfishness, and we will overwhelm them from the shadows."

GMTrex |

The man laughs heartily for a moment. "We already have, slave of the Decemvirate. We've been busy."

![]() |

"Do you have an incentive program? Maybe a generous signing bonus? I can't say I share your obvious hatred for the Society, but it never hurts to keep one's options open..."

"Ha! Fools. You have made your choice. Greed will not help you." He doesn't elaborate, nor answer Cadmuk's questions.

GMTrex |

Feel free to keep questioning him, but also decide what to do with him.

![]() |

"I vote we torture him." says Cott, giving up on the un-enhanced interrogation perhaps a little too quickly.

GMTrex |

Torture is considered an explicitly evil action in Pathfinder Society, and doing so will force an alignment change (retiring Cott from the campaign, in your case). I advise against that option. :)

![]() |

Jasmine will nod at Cott, and pull him to the side. When out if earshot of the tied up douche, What if we threaten to give him to our new "acquaintance"? Don't know if it will help though

GMTrex |

For example, you might turn him over to the Duskwardens, or the Ardocs, or resolve to keep him imprisoned here for a month and drag him back to Absalom...
"The Kaer Maga Lodge is strong. You will not survive in this city, and soon after your reckless masters will follow. All in good time," he chuckles.

![]() |

"Awww I never get to torture anyone" whines Cott.

![]() |

"Alright then, if we're going to be upstanding citizens about this then, I think we ought to take him back to Absalom. Though if the Shadow Lodge here in the city is as strong as he claims, they may very well attempt to prevent that. Contacting Mr. Ardoc for help from his golems is a good plan. If we could find him again. "

GMTrex |

The party is able to secure a meeting with Ardoc--only because of the bargaining chip you now carry. Besel is quite interested in executing the prisoner to show an example, and would need to be persuaded to instead hold him prisoner for you.
Diplomacy check.

"I'm sure we could eventually get more information out of him...plus we could see just how the lodge values one of their own members, if at all."

"Your good friend Venture Captain Drang would no doubt line the chance to speak with our friend here himself before he is made to pay for his crimes."

On the walk back to meet with Ardoc, Cadmuk inquires with his companions on their next steps.
"So now that we found the presence of a shadow lodge in Kaer Maga, what can we do to bring the back to the fold and redeem the society's name in this city?"
In the meeting with Ardoc, Cadmuk tries to help in the diplomacy attemp by trying to persuade him to show leniency to the prisoner.
"Practicing mercy is actually a sign of great power and wisdom. I have no doubt you would be respected more highly than you already are, if you refrained from killing this man."
Diplomacy Aid: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (18) + 9 = 27

GMTrex |

Ardoc is eager to exact Kaer Magan justice, but relents and permits you to keep the prisoner in Collgardie's home for the time being.
In the meantime, the Shadow Lodge of Kaer Maga lingers on in the City of Strangers...
