He seems to be teetering on the edge of giving in... but there is a hard resolve that has yet to give way... Perhaps the paladin can convince him that sending Eagle Knights north is simply the right thing to do...

The barbarian's words put him over the edge. "I am certain that any such evidence if fabricated, but your counsel on the need of Mendev is well put. I shall ensure that a contingent of Eagle Knights is sent north to assist your Society in its noble efforts to repel the demon tide."

Soon after Bryton sends instructions to the Eagle Knights, you depart and cross paths with Demrick's men at the door. After checking in at the guard station and with everything in hand, you depart back to Absalom with the feeling of a job well done...

Using the evidence you have gathered (Thalia's notes, Koriana's notes, and the testimonies of Thalia and Koriana themselves) the courts eventually convict Tercio Andares of betraying his oath of office and Common Rule, stripping him of property and position. Although Sander Bryton gets off the Andares case practically unscathed, further investigations after several months eventually lead to his conviction as well. Thalia’s unswerving adherence to Common Rule and her role in rooting out corruption cause the judge to favor her request to maintain much of the family’s property with some concessions, and she donates much of the Andares fortune to the Pathfinder Society.

Meanwhile, a force of Eagle Knights begins the long march north to Nerosyan. Simultaneously, Lady Gloriana Morilla of Taldor is able to wrestle further support for her fledgling Army of Exploration out of the Sauer family, thanks to the aged contract you found in their crumbling cellar and passed along by Ober and Frag.

Upon your arrival in Absalom, a note awaits each Saki, Trifle, and Skybek, signed by Major Colson Maldris and thanking you for your service to the ideals of a democratic Andoran.

With its expanded resources, the Pathfinder Society is now able to better finance the upcoming expedition into the Worldwound...
