Fendahl Silvermane |
Fendahl will rush to the unconscious woman. He will check her vitals and condition.
"Hrrmm, I will get this one. Keep moving."
perform a heal check (take 10 for 17) and depending on her condition will:
a) cast CLW 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6 on her if she can recover
b) Otherwise he will pick her up to carry her.
Nahlah bint Alima |
Nahlah will look around the nearest rooms, curious as to the activities of the these "Blackfire adepts".
Perception: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (2) + 12 = 14
Kynrac |
Kynrac moves across the large room and prepares to open the large double door.
Jarlgur Flamnord |
Jarlgur waves to Kynrac. "Not those doors, this one over here." He says motioning to the door near him.
I don't know which way is better. I was just making clear which door I was thinking about.
Darius Swiftblade |
Darius quickly removes the womans bindings and instructs her to head downstairs to join her brethren.. He also instructs her hit the sewers if they weren't back down in 5 minutes..
He'll give a quick look around for any information that could be used to his advantage..
GM Derek W |
Fendhal's magic does the trick. The woman is able to get up once Darius unties her, and she hurries towards the stairs.
Nahlah searches a nearby room. It looks recently abandoned, as a series of books and ledgers lay open on the table with the quills still in the inkwells. The clerks who worked here must have left in a hurry!
She locates a stack of papers that reference to Trade Prince Aquir al-Hakam hoping I remembered his name correctly
Kale, Kynrac and Jarlgur stand ready.
The doors to the courtyard burst open, and you see four guards readying their weapons!
Back to you guys!
Kynrac |
Kynrac, calm and detached as always, takes a step back then conjures a blast of flame to engulf the two nearest guards!

Nahlah bint Alima |
Not fearing for the safety of her companions against these lesser foes, Nahlah spends some time grabbing the trade documents, knowing them to be useful to Qadira.
Darius Swiftblade |
Darius will move to the door, cast Frostbite and take a 2 handed swing at the one in front of Kale..

Once guard is able to avoid some of the flames, the other is not so lucky! Kale rushes forward and slashes a guard - he teeters on the brink of collapse.
Darius swiftly slays the man, the magus' furious force completely overwhelming him.
Fendahl, then back to the guards!
Fendahl Silvermane |
Not sure how Fendahl made it back to the stairs unless escorting the freed woman.
The lion-shaman will silently move to rejoin his allies by the courtyard doors, with Kirrah the lion close behind.
GM Derek W |
Sorry, I don't know either. I certainly didn't move him. If any of you need me to move your token, I can. But only if you specifically request it. And then I have to actually pay attention...
The wounded guard falls back as two of his friends close in with guisarmes!
The wounded guy is now orange.
Attack v. Kale: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15

With all the commotion, two more guards burst out of a door to the north and enter the courtyard!
You guys are up again!
Kynrac |
Holding a vial of Alchemist's Fire in his hand, Kynrac conjures a ray of consuming fire to engulf the guard on his right.
Casting scorching ray on the guard on the right (see comment on map).
Scorching Ray (ranged touch attack): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 184d6 ⇒ (3, 4, 1, 1) = 9

Nahlah bint Alima |
Nahlah activates her ioun stone and runs into the courtyard, disregarding her foe (and drawing an attack as she moves).
Kale Aldori |
Kale rushes from the door past the guards, chasing down the injured man!

Fendahl Silvermane |
Fendahl will rush into the courtyard with Kirrah, following Kale heading to the double doors to the east,
Aoo if he has another as Fendahl and lion double move 80' to east north east .
GM Derek W |
Kynrac wounds the guard with flaming power. Darius steps forward, slaying the left guard with his first blow, and finishing the right guard with his Spellstrike attack.
Kale chases down the wounded man and sends him into Pharasma's embrace!
The other guards turn and run back inside the northern watch tower!
Back to you.
Fendahl Silvermane |
Fendahl will try to enter the double doors to the east.
sorry cannot update map with tablet.
Kynrac |
Kynrac moves along. Double move to follow the team.
Nahlah bint Alima |
Kynrac moves along. Double move to follow the team.
...as does Nahlah
GM Derek W |
Darius opens the doors with the team of Pathfinders at his back. He finds a row of cells with a pair of prisoners in each. At the northern end of the room is a larger room with a number of prisoners as well. Its large door of bars is a secured with a heavy chain and lock. The cells each also have locks on the doors.
The prisoners call out to the team as soon as they are visible in the doorway:
"Free us! We're to be sold into slavery! We're free men" And such comments.
Kynrac |
Kynrac is dedicated to the task of finding the last remaining Riftwarden, healing him if necessary, and helping him out in particular.
Nahlah bint Alima |
Nahlah yells at the others.
"Be mindful of the tricks of demons. They are skin-walkers, and may hide among the crowd."
Nahlah seems well acquainted with the various tricks of demon-kind, and a tad (if justifiably) paranoid.
GM Derek W |
Jargulr tries a few of the keys until he strikes upon the right one! He is able to move from cell to cell pretty quickly (open 1 cell per round).
Kynrac is able to pick out the captured Riftwarden pretty quickly from the description obtained earlier.
In about a minute, the prisoners are all free, and Kyrac heals the Riftwarden, whose tongue had also been removed.
Nahlah remains on the alert, but no demons reveal themselves during this time.
Ok, out through the sewers? More searching around? The local guards aren't about to break down the doors just yet, but the clock has wound down slightly
Kynrac |
Kynrac only dedicates his time and attention for the Riftwardens. As soon as the fourth one is freed, he escorts him back to where Jahani is. There he goes through the lengthy process of healing his tongue, attempting to reverse the time affecting the wound. When this is done, the lorekeeper heads towards the sewers, ready to depart.
Kynrac won't search any further, he's only interested in the Riftwardens' fate.
Darius Swiftblade |
Darius will help look for any interesting documents and will release any prisoner's that haven't been.. Otherwise to the sewers..
This is wrapping up soon yes? I only ask because im trying to get him into another gameday post haste..
Nahlah bint Alima |
Nahlah interrogates the prisoners for interesting going-ons and their original destinations, and looks quickly for anything else of use to the society.
Perception: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (15) + 12 = 27
GM Derek W |
We should be able to finish tonight, except for wrap-up RP, etc. I'll try to get your chronicles out tomorrow.
Kynrac escorts the final Riftwarden towards the stairs. Nahlah speaks with the other prisoners as they head out the same way. They are a fearful lot, but are willing to share a few pieces of information here and there. She keeps her eyes open, but nothing else of obvious value to the Society seems to be close at hand.
As the last prisoners are exiting into the sewers, the group can hear the shouts of the compound guards above ground. It sounds as though they are speaking loudly with some other party...
In the meantime, Jahani asks to meet with you briefly once you are clear of the area.
Fendahl Silvermane |
Fendahl will ensure the captives are escorted safely out the sewers while the others search or engage any straggling guards.
"Hrrmm, follow. This way, quickly . Ah, here is our contact."
Darius Swiftblade |
Darius nods to Jahani.. "That will be fine.. Let us get out of this hell hole first.."
Nahlah bint Alima |
Nahlah will retreat with the others, happy at her victories over evil souls this day.
GM Derek W |
Jahani tells you to meet her at her home later that night. During the evening, Darius makes some inquiries among the locals and is able to plant a few seeds for old Uncle Guaril.
The party makes its way over to Jahani's residence. They find her most welcoming.
"Well, I am glad that you were able to return, friends! I fear that I cannot thank you enough for the service you have rendered to us. Friend Kynrac, your contributions to the Riftwardens' cause will not go unnoticed! Now, is there any way we might be able to repay the favor to your Pathfinder Society?"
Go ahead and roll Diplomacy or Bluff with your responses! Also, I left the chronicles at work. They are mostly filled out. I will do my best to get them done tomorrow.
Nahlah bint Alima |
Nahlah says brusquely: "We desire your help, doing what comes best to you: fighting demons. But another who is better with words can explain it better then I"
aid: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (7) - 2 = 5
Fendahl Silvermane |
Fendahl nods with the others, trying to be convincing.
"Hrmm, it was our honor and duty to rescue our brethren. The Society does not leave its own to suffer at the hands as these fiends. "
diplomacy : 1d20 ⇒ 12 to assist
Jarlgur Flamnord |
Jarlgur nods. "Aye, we need your help. I'm sure you, of anyone, realize that all of Golorian hangs in the balance. We need every able hand to stop the demonic invasion."
Diplomacy Aid: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (8) + 11 = 19
