We only have one battle to go in this randomization round. Anyone can do a challenge bout if they wish until the battle in Arena 3 is finished. Unless we just want to go into a randomization bout tomorrow to keep everything moving?

Since we’re still low on Level 4’s, I’ll just keep the level 4 three way battle going in Arena 6 and that’ll do it for Level 4 characters for now. That leaves 10 open slots for Level 3’s. We still need a few more. Choon, do you have a Level 3 guy?

Well, it's more fair for randomization if the random roll happens when all people have checked it. We're at 7/10. I'll wait another 12-15 hours or so to see if we can get 3 more, then I'll do the matchups. Anyone who arrives after that time can still do challenge matches, though we might need to make a couple more arenas. We'll see.
If we are at an odd number drop me and I will sit this round out.

Working on my gladiator, and I was wondering if your class feature granted companion acts on your initiative, or rolls their own?

It acts on your initiative like summoned creatures do.
What about teaching animals tricks with handle animal, are we assumed to have had as much time as we would need before becoming gladiators to fully train our animals?
Yes, assume your animals are as trained as they can be to serve their roll; but remember, only classes with Animal Companions or Class Mounts can even have them.

Also note: you don't have to make an alias for every character unless you want to. You can make one catch-all and use that for any characters you make. Like I'm usually Bruno, but it doesn't say that. :)
Only caveat to that is to make sure you identify yourself somehow with the posts if you aren't going to have a separate alias. For instance say something like "Bruno rushes across the field, bouncing on the fleshy back of Esmeralda the Death Camel" or "Bruno jabs his lance into your eye."

Just noticed the new arenas up top; I have devilish ideals on that Bridge arena, but it depends how high up the bridge is, weather it touches the water, and if there are things in that water; Though making a pure water based fighter who only fights there would be a fun thing.
Question: how would large characters (or, say, a deadly shark-toothed camel) navigate 5' wide bridges?
They look rickety as well, so you might need to move at half speed to avoid breaking them or something.
You'd be squeezing. Anytime a creature is in a space half its size it takes -4 to attacks and -4 to AC. I can't locate a rules reference at the moment other than on this Chart.
