Looking around the stereotypical tavern, and seeing no one volunteering at the stage, Merisiel threatens, "You know, if we can't find someone to provide some music for this hoedown, I may just start singing. And no one wants that - trust me, that would be catastrophic. Or Raul could start a hymn, and wouldn't that just kill everyone's buzz?"

Gauging the room, and gauging Rual's reaction, "of course, preacher man, maybe you got some marching tunes t' make the tavern wenches blush?"

Ok I just picked up the new scenario, so just want a definitive answer on which people would like to with. Or rather does anyone not want to do the new one for some reason, like with this character? Ill start reading the new one today if I can.

I agree devils and djinn are both tricky. When you have dealt with one the other is just as easy.

Season 5 started a new thing where there are no Faction Missions involved. Well not in the sense that they where, with individual mission handouts. Dos anyone want their faction mission (for extra flavor, but no credit) anyways (for Severing Ties)? Otherwise, is everyone familiar with their Faction's overall yearly goal?

Can I also get some PFS numbers for these characters. (if playing a pregen, wait until you know which character you will be applying it to).

One last thing, without spoiling anything, (The Glass River Rescue) has an extra benfit for the Qadira and Osirion Factions, as well as Dwarves and religious/anti-religious characters. Let me know if you want to switch out a character or to play a pregen to be able to qualify.

Thanks. It's all good. Wife is having a baby and taking for ever. She's in recovery now, but I think I had a total of maybe 6 hours of sleep since Monday. :)

My little girl is now 15 months, my wife was in labor for 21.5 hours before she had to have an emergency c-section. I am well aware of your pain. Congrats.

Congrats Beckett!! I came into my daughter when she was a year old (started seeing her mah then) so I missed out on the labor and delivery parts.

@Grundle - cheater! :) 1 year old is definitely an opportune time to acquire a child. still small and cute and cuddly, but able to miss out on much of the initial acquisition issues.

Trust me, while there are some really nice parts, there are some really not so nice parts as well. 6 or so hours of sleep over a few days, and the sleep you get is not really even worth it, (super uncomfortable cramming into a chair, getting awoken every 20 mins by the nurses), waiting hand and foot on a mean woman that vaguely reminds you of the girl you loved only a few days or hours ago, (j/k), and all of the waiting. And hunger.

I was only with mine for 3 weeks before JRTC and only 3 weeks after... I wish i could be there for the whole first year... there is so many amazing things that happen in that first year

There are, but at the same time, around 3 is when it starts to get interesting. I wouldn't worry about it too much. When you get back, soon she will be able to play back and interact. That's when it starts getting good.

About the game. I'm not sure if this is something new to Season 5 or just this scenario, but it is designed to have a lot of group choices in it, and unlike in the past, I as DM really need to take a hand's off approach, because both in the scenario, and in the reporting, which way the group chooses has an impact. It should be pretty clear in the game, but when those come up, especially in order to keep things moving, I really need people to weigh in with their opinions and wich way they decide. It's pretty much this or that. There is not a middle ground, (so "I don't care" doesn't help). To try and make it a little more organic, (and hopefully a little less video gamy), I am probably going to try to break up the choices, presenting the options at different times.

Also, later on, I am going to try something new with the maps. You will see when we actually get to the Inn what I mean, but give it a try, and let me know if you like it this way or how I've usually done maps in the past.

Daveak, are you giving a tribute of 2 PP and 5GP? If so remind me so I can write that on the Chronicle Sheet.

@Daveak - If this one's coming out of our pockets (not picked up by thems as are driving the train) then I'm in for a share. Merseil supported paying a toll to the leg-breakers, and she won't welch out on contributing to the pot! She also voiced support for the folks that are doing the negotiating - so she'll be bound by whatever they come good with. It's a trust and respect thing.

I think you took out your wallet first, and got stuck with the whole tab/toll/tribute, when you' only intended to pay the tip/bribe. Just roll with it. We wouldn't want the knee-cappers to get confused and annoyed.

Passad gave you money to pay the tribute. You do not have to spend money out of your pocket, I was assuming you meant "I'll pay extra" to mean "I'll through in an extra 5GP of my own on top of the 2PP"

It's my first time - be gentle :)

They're both visible, but the organizer is still juggling configurations with 'warhorn' to allow the signups to work well for online, avoiding a lot of the 'safety' features built into the event planner for live conventions.

BTW, the warhorn event schedule is awkward, and defaults to the current-month 'schedule', even though all of the gamesday activites are scheduled in the october schedule.
