Everyone else, as you position yourselves in the alley the two greasy black-headed humans that were following you turn into the alley as well.

The first one tosses a disposable magic item down and the entire area goes silent....

They charge forward...turning into wererats as they do.

Edrukk ducks into a side branch of the alley and hustles off as the rest of the party prepares to meet those following them. Coming out the other end of the side alley, he finds a confused Canvy looking around for the others.

"C'mon, lad. Th' party started wit'out th' two o' 's." With that, sword in hand, the dwarf heads back to the original alley mouth to come up behind the sneaks.

(Looking back through the thread, I don't see anywhere where we dropped or gave back the silver cesti/gauntlets. If it's okay, I'll assume Broccan is wearing his, since his regular gauntlets are with his suit of plate in the shop, so to speak.)

Broccan winces as the slight blade finds a gap in his mail. He draws back and swings at the man-rat with a silver-sheathed fist.

Sanstree likely would not accept the return of the guantlets and they seem useful in fighting wererats....

Broccan attempts a punch the wererat dodges and is not ammused to see the flash of silver, though they are confused about how many of you have been "cornered".

As they try and work out there Canvy and Edrukk are the two of them make their presences felt, one by charging into and the other by cutting at both of them!

Erine and Minniwick are up!

Alchemical Fire but not magic. Broccan I just noticed that you took a -1 to damage with your punch. Was that because of the silver? If so you should remove it. Alchemical silver only does -1 damage with P and S weapons.

It seemed to work so do it again. Bomb them both with splash damage (hitting a ac 5 hex) while excluding all friendly targets (max 4)
