My hope is that we can find a way to fix what caused it. Then we would not need to destroy the workshops. It is possible that the cause no longer exists.
J30: SCROLL STORAGE
Upon entering this empty, dust-covered room, a number of small, harmless spiders scurry away.
An elderly, translucent gnome wizard with a faintly glowing ruby in her left eye socket appears in the room and recites the following words. . .
“I am Emirystul, librarian of Jzadirune. The scrolls you seek have been destroyed to keep you and others from fading into nothingness. The curse of the Vanishing began here, in these mystic halls, and here it will remain. Be careful what you find, and mind whatever magic was wrought here.”
Erine opens a door into a large and elaborate potion shop.
Flasks line the walls, glassware of all sorts makes loops and coils.
A couple of shaped stones similar in size to Broccan's fist sit on the bench, the stones are open at the top.
Minniwick recognizes the stones immediately, heating stones, that can maintain a constant temperature for up to 12 hours.
The potion racks are empty, likely the gnomes destroyed them to stop the vanishing.

Erine inspects the funnel. Using the above Spellcraft check, trying to identify it."I think so. O-odd that they'd smash the potions and not the heating stones. M-maybe they didn't think they had the curse."
She looks up, tilting her head. "Or maybe they were in a hurry."

So what was the funnel?
Erine follows Edrukk. "Yes, I think we've looked this place over. Th-there's no magic save the heating stones and this funnel, here."

"Unh! What was the point!" Canvy moans at the lack of gold on offer down here. He sits down, his back against the rock wall, whilst Edrukk and Erine look round, though after a few minutes he can't stay still. He gets up and walks around, he moves to the heating stones and puts his hand down to touch one.
J47: SECRET TREASURY
This chamber is completely free of dust and cobwebs. Green marble tiles cover the floor, and the walls are painted with bright murals depicting a forest of enormous fungi. A gnome-sized suit of full-plate armor, complete with visor and helm, stands in the middle of the room. Next to it sits a two-foot-tall clay urn filled with treasure.
J48: SECRET VAULT
Standing against the south wall of this room is a gnome-sized suit of banded mail clutching a finely forged gnome hooked hammer. At its feet rests an iron chest secured with an iron padlock.
J49: SECRET VAULT
Three chests lie in the room, strange glyphs upon their lids.

I suspect both Erine and Edrukk will want to detect magic.

Erine's eyes glow blue as she examines all the items--carefully not touching anything. By the end, her eyes look a bit sore.
Sorry, didn't see the new post. kaBOOM, Detect Magic! Aids might be good, since it's a lotta checks. Edrukk can just take 10.

Also, not to be a broken record, but what was the funnel? :P
DESCRIPTION
This two-spouted funnel is used to safely mix two alchemical splash weapons into a single flask. Using the vial requires 10 minutes and a DC 25 Craft (alchemy) check; a half-elf has a +5 bonus on this check. Failing the check means both splash weapon are destroyed. Success means the two materials are safely mixed into one vial that is the same volume as a normal splash weapon vial; when thrown as a splash weapon, the mixture has the effects of both component substances and creatures are affected as if hit by both. The mixture becomes inert after 24 hours. Only liquids may be mixed with the funnel. The bearer can use it to mix an alchemical splash weapon with either holy water or unholy water, but the Craft (alchemy) DC increases to 30; half-elves still get the +5 bonus on this check. The funnel does not work on potions, elixirs, extracts, or other materials. Mixing a substance with a similar or identical substance (such as alchemist's fire with alchemist's fire) has no effect. A mixture cannot be combined with another mixture.

This is probably no longer necessary, but Edrukk will try to help. Can they tell if the glyphs are the traps or are you saying they are seeing something else?

Did Erine's effective Spellcraft roll of 30 identify what sort of enchantment was on the banded mail?

Erine backs away. "Broccan, careful! It's s-some sort of golem!"
Her hand starts to wither away, turning dark and shriveled. When it's barely even visible, she points at the construct with it. "Dispel!"
A black glob shoots out. As it goes, the hand returns to normal.
Targeted Dispel: One object, creature, or spell is the target of the dispel magic spell. You make one dispel check (1d20 + your caster level) and compare that to the spell with highest caster level (DC = 11 + the spell's caster level). If successful, that spell ends. If not, compare the same result to the spell with the next highest caster level. Repeat this process until you have dispelled one spell affecting the target, or you have failed to dispel every spell.
...If the object that you target is a magic item, you make a dispel check against the item's caster level (DC = 11 + the item's caster level). If you succeed, all the item's magical properties are suppressed for 1d4 rounds, after which the item recovers its magical properties.

Eyeing the fighter for a moment, Edrukk decides that the blow, while serious, isn't life-threatening, and he moves around to flank the construct and attack.

As the thing stops, Broccan checks his swing and moves to a defensive stance (full defense, +4 to AC), keeping himself between it and the rest of the party.
