It is a reference to Sanstree's magical chest that comes out of nowhere from the minature version that he can keep upon his person....

Canvy looks daggers at Erine, but shrugs and smiles to himself as he moves towards the trapdoor. "No Broccan, it seems its my job." He makes a dramatic bow towards Erine and the goat, he pushes Broccan aside. Lying down on his front he pops his head down through the trapdoor hole and carefully looks down into the darkness.

He finds a bundle a lumpy object wrapped in a fine cloth within easy reach.
The wrap is a cloak inside it a very finely crafted darkwood mandolin looks like new.

A few more mundane items are found, mostly things one would expect around a stage and theater, the area beneath the stage has alot of things in storage, but nothing else radiates any form of magic or rivals the quality of the musical instrument and cloak.

Did we find a wand down here? Erine you are better off with magic bought up-top. You must be wary before activating or using any magic we may come across here in Jazidrune. They may be tainted with The Vanishing. If there are more cases of The Vanishing they will seal these tunnles forever. Well that and you slowly fade from view until you no longer exist.

Jzadirune was known for making magic items. The magic items are what made us seal up Jzadirune and leave Cauldron. It was about 75 years ago when people started fading away. It took from a few days to a few weeks but when they finally vanished they were never seen again. They said it was the magic items so the destroyed all they could find and sealed up the city. Never did find out why or how it all started. It was a sad time for Gnomes in the city.

It was linked to the magic items made here in some way. No one ever did find out how or why. They just kicked us all out of our homes and shut up Jzadirune.
