Plans made for a ceremony, the adventurers move on. Thankfully, the remainder of the exploration is peaceful. First comes a museum of dwarven idols, windows smashed and altars desecrated.
Then the Pathfinders find an ancient eating hall which has been repurposed into a training room. The dwarven statue has been hacked away with various blows and training exercises.
Finally, the group finishes their circuit of the outer ring and moves into the inner room. The room is enormous, with a tall ceiling. Atop a stepped dais is a gargantuan humanoid skull that glows with an eerie blue light.
The skull came from a rune giant, many many years dead.
The skull is under the effect of a Continual Flame spell.
A wagon with a broken axle leans against the northern wall. Damaged wooden crates spill out from the cart onto the floor. Several business contracts and ledgers remain in the wagon. It appears like the cart once belonged to an alchemical weapons merchant.
Searching through the crates, you find some unlooted crates. They include two bottles of Deathblade poison, a bundle of fuse grenades (12), some vials labeled 'shadow essence poison', and a box marked 'volatile vaporizer'.

Flyn shakes his head at the gigantic skull, letting out a low whistle. "Never seen the likes of that..."
He surveys the cart and its contents before saying, "Think we're done here...now we need to put the brave samurai to rest..."

Luurg moves from room to room, his long arms eventually shrinking back to their normal length. He squints his black, beady eyes at the giant glowing skull and shrugs his shoulders as well "Dats a big 'ead dare. Real big."
Once they find the cart filled with crates his eyes glitter a bit as he goes to investigate. He pulls out a crowbar and starts popping the tops off the wooden crates "Hey looky at all dis gud stuff! Poisons n bombs! Fun! Dem gobbies I werked wid long time ago, dey pay real gud fer deez bombs woo!"

Ethan gives a shrug as he moves around the giant skull. Well, I think we are done here, best to return to Lastwall with the samurai and make sure her last rites are conducted. No doubt our captain will be interested in what we have found.

Narayan is very impressed by the size of the skull, a strange presentiment strikes him that it will not be the last time he sees such a marvel...
Turning from the skull he assesses the alchemical warchest that Luurg has found. And better sstill, they will not be left here to be put to ill usse.

At mid-day, the group performs the proper rituals to put the samurai's soul to rest. In the mean time, you take any last notes regarding the ancient Tien hold and begin the long journey back to report to Venture Captain Besnik in Lastwall. Your journey back to Lastwall is somewhat uneventful. Besnik greets you all on the wall on your return, and treats you to dinner with him, listening to all your tales with rapt amazement.
He listens to the retelling of the adventure and says, “I knew you would triumph! Just goes to show I picked the right pathfinders to seek out adventure while unknown dangers lurked. There could have been almost anything there! Go and rest while I put our report together for the Ten. Surely, this addition to the Chronicles will put Uscalin Lodge on the map."
"Locating and recovering the body and katana of the samurai was most impressive, and more importantly, have proven to the Knights that the Pathfinders aren't bumbling messes. Well, most of the time. Though I may joke about the crusaders, they play a vital part in the service of good. You, too, have done important work today. You have removed a pressing danger and helped the spirit of an ancient hero find rest. Well done, Pathfinders. I hope you are as proud of yourselves as I am of you.”
That is it! Both Primary and Secondary conditions met.

Flyn bows to the Venture-Captain. "Thank you for the privilege of serving, sir..."
Turning to his companions. "Twas an honor to journey and fight with each of you...maybe we can do it again some time...
"Narayan, my friend, it was a pleasure fighting by your side once again...just like old times...fare you well..."
