This battle you probably have to finish without me. So in next fight I'm going to tear them so much, that whole damn tower will collapse...

Anibal pulls it all together and puts a knee right on point - the reptilian opponent crashes to the floor and the place goes quiet once more.
End combat
You see a key around the neck of the large lizard like man.
A brazier of glowing coals sits in the center of this room, its acrid smoke mixing with the ever-present troglodyte stench. A few knives, pokers, and other metal implements lie atop a rusty iron box nearby. Investigating the box reveals a suit of masterwork studded leather armor, a masterwork buckler, a masterwork rapier, a shortbow with 15 arrows, a scroll of cure moderate wounds, a scroll of invisibility, a wayfinder, and a climber’s kit.
You notice that beyond the room is a cell, and a quick peruse reveals a beaten man, hungry looking, and firmly manacled. The stranger winces as your light catches him, as though bracing himself against another kicking, but as it dawns on him that you aren’t a reptile he immediately opens up ”Hey! Hey! Help! Please get me out of here!”

![]() |

Kaleb looks round the rest of the spoil.
If no one will claim that armor - I'll take it. It will be easier for me to sneak in.
Then Kaleb approaches the cage with a locked person.
Who are you and from where? How to get here? Just quickly and briefly - I had a REALLY bad day.
I hope this is the our *bloody* minstrel...

![]() |

The Iobarian takes the key the creatures neck, then proceeds to open the cell. (assuming the key fits)
I take it you are mister... erm... Forsend, is it?

Shifty |

The key turns easily. "Please, that sounds so formal - Balenar between us friends" the battered fellow looks up with a smile "Then you are fellow Pathfinders and have come to rescue me! I'm ready to leave this place right now, before I get any unluckier" he seems to be suggesting a swift exit.
"Hey hey, thats my gear... oh no matter" he says looking at the expired scroll and people going through his captured possessions.

![]() |

Lizbeth holds out her hand to give Balenar someone to steady themselves on, before offering water and rationa to the tortured aoul. Though she is weary and injured, she has a warm smile on her face.
."Well met Balenar! I am glad you are safe, now to return to our nobl Venture-Captain!"

![]() |

But what is on the top floor? I'm afraid my curiosity might get the better of me.
Anibal pauses for a second...
Then again - the desire to try to collapse this tower is strong as well. What happened here anyway? And why did you go alone?
Getting into the wind up and conclusion stages, can I get Anibal and Kalebs PFS details when convenient? Link above (Post reporting) I have everyone else.
Did done.

As the others talk to the prisoner Cyrus will stick each of the lizardmen one last time with his longsword to make sure they don't get up every again. Then the Half-Elf collects all his weapons and begins to clean a sharpen them.
Grabbing my two javelins and dagger and will use my Whetstone on all my weapons.

Shifty |

He looks over to Anibal - "A poor sense of adventure?" he offers by way of explanation, "I was captured just after sneaking past a large lizard...walked right into them. There's only one more room above which was some sort of formal room, their leader is a really large troglodyte...looks like you dismantled his tribe. I think I was to be some sort of sacrifice or something dark... a good thing you came along when you did! How soon can we leave?" he questions whilst looking at the stack of lizard corpses.
He looks pretty keen on vacating the tower.

![]() |

As soon as we will finish with this damn leader, Balenar. After been almost dead I'm really not in mood to leave some evil here alive. We started this - and we will finish. What do you think, comrades?
Kaleb looks questioningly on his friends. His eyes blaze with righteous anger.
I have a great blessing and not one. You will be a source of terror and adoration for these creatures and it will be difficult for them to force to hit you. Plus a couple of protection scroll that we found. I will bless those who will go first. And before that, Tarantio may briefly return to us in disembodied form at least pass through the door. Yes, Lizbeth? However, it is possible without intelligence. I don't care. So how about it? Some vengeance for this nasty long day...
This blessing. Some of them will pass the will save, but some attacks will be lost too.

You ascend to the top of the tower...
The four wings of the tower are completely open on this level, forming one great,
cross-shaped chamber with arched ceilings. The decayed remnants of a carpet run from the doorways at the end of each wing, meeting in the center, where a spiral staircase drops out of sight below. A large, throne-like chair stands in the middle of the eastern wing next to a big chest.
Standing at the eastern archway, a single reptile man stares out into the distance, a stunted albino crocodile by his side...
