Hearing the dressing down Galavar is delivering to Zhatara, Jacques attempts to cool things down with a bit of levity.

"Sorry about that, sir. She's always been a bit of a free spirit. Claims she has some kind of link to nobility and it gives her a sense of entitlement.

She once convinced Malik to jump down a well. Funny story, if you ask him about it.

Usually, when she gets too forward, Smiley just gives her a bit of a spanking and she gets in line.

She's real effective in the field, though, so we keep her around. I'm sure she won't cause anymore trouble, though you're free to give her a spanking, if you want."

He stands there, expectantly, the guards laugh a bit under their breath at the confrontation.

Zhatara's our spellcaster, of some persuasion or another, though she prefers us to keep that quiet like. Now, because I'm an adle-brained fool, I got you thinking bad things about her. Well, she's going to be sending fire bolts up my backside for a month now, but I can't think how bad it'd be if I let you think she was... what you were saying.

Real capable in a fight, and loyal to the assignment, she just has her own way of doing things sometimes. I'm sure she'll listen now that you explained what you wanted, isn't that right, Mistress?"

Zhatara turns back and gives Jacques a chilly look:"A spanking? That could be an excellent idea but I don't think I will be the one on the receiving end of it... And, Jacques, dear, don't fear, I'm not going to set you aflame. Rest asured, what I've in mind for you is much less pleasant. I guess we'll get to see if you are really all bark after all"

She then focuses on Galavar:"As for you, did you just call me a "common camp follower? I was trying to be nice and helpful but since you behave like a loutish thug, that stops now" Zhatara's tone gets frosty as she speaks and she points her eyes on the guard using her power to sap his will.

Galvar follows Jacques long explanation and begins to look slightly concerned at conversations about spellcasters and 'fire bolts'.

Zhatara steps up and asserts herself forcefully, staring him down - this clearly has an effect on a man who has just been told shes some fire bolt casting mistress of some repute "SHES A DIABOLIST! Stick her in chains!" he shouts shrilly, the other guards clearly have the same idea as they aren't standing for this treatment either.

Smiley activates his Quick Runner's Shirt for an additional Move action and scurries to the barracks door as fast as he can. Double Move using the QRS.

As he goes, he remembers how his brother Mekkar used to have a technique that he used to punch all seven brothers at once. Needless to say, Smiley asked him to show it to him many times. Smiley can't even recall how many times he saw this technique practiced on him, but that may because it involved getting hit in the head each time.

Martial Flexibility for Cleave feat.

@GM, not sure if going through a door is a Move action or just part of movement. If so, I'm going through two of them so feel free to move me back where I should be. If he can make it to the barracks door, he simply shouts "Har!"

Thats more diplomacy than a bluff, as you aren’t trying to trick or deceive them - and you appear to be mocking them then finishing by drawing a conclusion that is unflattering... the use of Intimidate was an issue, and he’s been stared down and humiliated in front of all the guards. They’re pretty much in for giving Zhatara a return show of force

Gang, it seems like we're headed for combat unless someone pulls a miracle out of their hat. I'm honestly confused on the plan. Smiley will hold them off as long as possible but sometimes it's better to get the first punch in.

@Smiley - I think the initial plan of sitting pretty in the room and drugging the maximum number of guards with the knock-out poison kinda derailed, its all seat-of-pants time now.

@Jacques - the poison timings are stipulated in the mod - we're tracking toward it, but it hasn't ticked over yet.

@Zhatara - You'll need to make a defensive spellcasting check, they will be attacking with their saps

Oh, well... Given that the onset is 10 turns, we've unlikely to hold them in pacifist mode for that long. If the guards in the room attack, Malik will start blasting away at the nearest one that is not cleaved by Smiley.

Initially, Nali's mind was panicking. How can we salvage this?!? she worries briefly before coming to a simple point.

We can't.

The realization hits her like a spray of cold water: sudden but surprisingly refreshing. We've been trying to sneak and sweet-talk through this time and again, And it's not worked. It's time to hunt, and we have prey...

As so, she gets a faint smile on her face. "Smiley?" she says as she steps back, "Neck-squeezing time."
And with that, she'll draw her spear and chant a brief spell in Elven for her spirits to bless her new hunt.

Smiley has not yet been moved, as it comes down to what he does. If he commits an AoO on the person attempting the attack then that needs to be resolved before the outcome of the Bullrush is known - hence you haven't been moved :) So AoO or not?

Once Smiley has decided on his AoO, then they will finish their moves :)

The first attack (now an AoO) wouldn't be a flurry, so what is the final roll?

And yes Nali, if it hits it adds t the DC (Hence why it was important to resolve:) :)

I was about to take a 5-foot step back, then remembered the guard is stunned, not prone and helpless. My token got placed under the guard and I can't fix it on my phone. Can someone move me forward ahain?
