East sounds good. Kyra agrees with Marcus.

Perched precariously in the branches of the trees here is a small
house, apparently lifted into the air from its foundations. The
branches creak as the house teeters and sways with the wind.

Walking past the house you hear children call out for help

Marcus will look for threats up there.

then will climb up if clear.

If Ki hears the children, and believes the noise comes from children he will ask the group [b[Can anyone cast an air walk or fly spell on my mount?[/b] If the answer is no, he will use his potion of fly on the mount and fly up to retrieve the kids.

Marcus begins climbing after spotting the two children in the house waving, clumsily and causes the house to come crashing down.

Reflex saves for Marcus and anyone underneath.

Ki saves his potion and backs away. ready to charge in to help any survivors.

The house comes crashing down, and then the area goes eerily silent. The bodies of a human and what you can presume are his son and daughter are lying lifeless on the ground.

"Dammit, I was just trying to save them. Can someone check to see if they can be saved?"

if anyone checks with heal or magic the father is bleeding out, the children have gone to the boneyard. Your choice is north or back where you came from and one of the previously unexplored areas.

Kyra will step up and try to help the man that is bleeding out if he can, using her wand to heal him as needed. She says a quiet prayer for the children as well.

I'm assuming "bleeding out" means he's not quite dead yet.

Kyra saves the man from an uncertain death.

I'm so sorry for your children... but how did you end up in there? What happened?

"You fool! Rash!" Sarion says, glaring at Marcus. He kneels by the bodies of the children and says a prayer over them.

The man, Karend Angetti, informs you that when the forest sprang in the market square is house was caught in the eruption. If only I could have passed with my children.

Vordrek steps toward Sarion and lays a hand on the other tiefling's shoulder. A portion of his divine magic transfers to Sarion's muscles.

So, if they are on the ground and one attacked Ki then it is right beside him. That is no good, so he and his mount will provoke from it to attack one he can charge at But both he and his mount have Mobility so their AC is +4 for AOOs provoked by movement.

Ki wheels away from the creature that attacked him with little regard for what it might do as he charges at one of the other creatures, power attacking.
