PFS PbP - Risen from the Sands (lvl 2 - 4) (Inactive)

Game Master Revvy Bitterleaf

Pyramid

Scarab Sages

Hi,

a few of the games I'm in ended/are ending this weekend so I'm planning to start up a new game. I'm feeling like a bit of a dungeoncrawl so I'm planning to run Risen from the Sands (lvls 2-4)

The deserts of Osirion—land of pharaohs and ancient tombs—hide not just untold wonders, but also unspeakable dangers. When the vast sand dunes part to reveal the ancient pyramid of the legendary Pharaoh of Sphinxes, glory seekers from across many nations race toward it, each fighting to be the first to claim its wonders. But the storied pharaoh doesn't rest quietly within this monument, and his tomb was designed to slaughter any who would dare trespass.

A band of bold adventurers are the first to arrive, and stand poised to claim what’s risen from the sands—but they're unaware of the doom that lurks inside. With daring on their side and strange, rarely seen powers at their disposal, the heroes may be the only force capable of containing the force of evil within and defeating its curse!

"Risen from the Sands" is a dungeon-based adventure for four 3rd-level characters

If you don't have a PFS character in range and want to play anyways;

Just make sure you have a society number so you can apply credit to a character

Since this is a dungeoncrawl don't expect much roleplay (besides what you bring yourself to the party) and you will be better served with playing a character that's good in a dungeon/combat environment.

It's a module with a lot of combat, some of which might be difficult for a party not build for it, so I'd prefer to have a party at the high end of the tier as opposed to being almost all lvl 2's (lvl 2's can still join as long as there are at least 4 lvl 3's or higher)

Sovereign Court

I'd like to submite Vanya, lvl 2 Swashbuckler

Silver Crusade

This cleric looks to be finishing a scenario this weekend, and will be level 2 at the end.

While she's another level 2, she might be well-suited as support in a tomb-raiding scenario. I am fine sitting out if you would rather have more lvl 3 or 4.

Silver Crusade

Here is my submission, level 3 Aasimar Inquisitor (Sacred Huntsmaster) and her Celestial Tiger companion, Babou.

Dark Archive

I have a lvl 4 gunslinger. His name is Pokey.

Sovereign Court

From your earlier module the winter witch who makes everything sleep just need to update my level.

Scarab Sages

K, going to wait till after the weekend to see if anyone else shows up and give Sarephta time to finish her game and lvl to 2. But with the 5 of you we at least have one table.

Grand Lodge

Belka is ready to depart for Osirion and to delve into ancient pyramid if there is still room.

I just need to update her character sheet to her new level.

Grand Lodge

If there's still room Zarunkumar would love to play another game for you and keep the team fighting fit.

Dark Archive

wow, i have a current alias for him, fun.

Scarab Sages

Hrm..that would make 7 of you, if Sarephta finishes on time.

Maybe we get lucky and some more people show up and we can have 2 tables

Silver Crusade

We can play with 7 with GM approval. Or two tables of four could work too (if we get one more). It would let is divide up to balance by level which is nice (one of the level 2 characters with each party).

Silver Crusade

Looks like I should be good to go tomorrow...

Scarab Sages

K, seeing how nobody else showed up and Sarephta should be good to go, please check into the discussion and gameplay threads and we'll get started

Grand Lodge

I don't really understand how this is working. We currently have 7 players, to many for 1 table but not enough for 2. As the last to join the recruitment I should probably be the one to sadly drop out and find a new game, but if you have something else in mind I don't want to go to far away. If you could just let me know if I'm in or not that would be great.

7 people is a legal (though crowded) table.

Scarab Sages

What Evan said..7 is legal. We could split into 2 groups and have the group with 3 run with a pregen...but I think your party will have a better chance as a group of 7

Grand Lodge

I was not aware of that, I thought the most you could have at a table was 6. So I'll go check in.
