Misarru looks at the fungi more interested and looks back at Dagnobar and Vitarri.

"Well these fungi look dangerous, that seemed quite a shock you got there. Perhaps it's a good idea to burn them instead of trying to avoid them."

Misarru pulls out a torch and lights it. He approaches the wispy strands carefully and holds the flames of the torch in front of him and eventually under a part of the fungus.

Kneeling, he looks to see if the fire helps.

Note he does hit utmost best not to touch any part of the shocking fungi.

Standing on the otherside of the fungi he watched for possible threats and called forth the power of the Lord of Iron once more so that he could stand more firmly if trouble arose...

Vitarri succesfully moves out of the fungi, and arrives on the other side of the area. Dagnobar is out of reach for Xander, who's standing 20 feet away from Dagnobar.

@Xander: Movement without map update will be ignored. If you can't update the map, let me know. In that case it's fine if you describe your new position instead.

When Misarru tries to burn a part of the fungus, the part he tries to burn moves away from the torch. It's only after Misarru's hit by two attacks, and loses consciousness, that the party members notice several small plant creatures on the ceiling.

Bite: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17 Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 4

Claw 2: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21 Damage: 1d3 ⇒ 3

It's at the exact moment the fungus attacks Misarru that Vitarri channels positive energy. Dagnobar and Misarru both open their eyes again, and are able to move.

The Green Fungus, that attacked Misarru, looks different from the other three. It's the only fungus that seems to be able to bite, and has claws. The otehr fungi look like they have poison stings.

@Vitarri: Who they go after depends on multiple things. There are rolls you could make to learn more ;)

Xander starts a summon spell. Aeilín moves forward while drawing her greatsword, then swings it at the green fungus. Her attack deals considerable damage.

@Vitarri: No untrained rolls though.

Vitarri:
The green fungus was the one that used electricity to attack you and Dagnobar. You see nothing that reveals if and when it could use its electric attack again.

Vitarri attacks the red fungus with Oathkeeper, and cuts it in half. the red fungus won't bother the party anymore.

The green fungus attack Misarru. It's bite and first claw miss, but the secon claw downs Misarru.

Rabbai attacks the green fungus, but his arrow misses.

Rabbai:
The green fungus is a fungus leshy. Keepers of cavernous mushroom forests and rotting compost pits deep within the swamp, fungus leshys preside over subterranean growth and the rot that fertilizes new life. Among the most alien and monstrous-looking of all leshys, these tiny rot farmers' frightening appearance has more to do with the asymmetrical eeriness intrinsic to molds and fungi than an outward expression of evil. Like all their kin, fungus leshys vary widely in form, often adopting the colors and shapes of the mushrooms and other large fungi common to the areas they tend.

Fungus leshys are spawned from realms of underground wonder or the rotting places of the natural world. They perform an important service in the lands they keep, encouraging the growth of fungi, transporting rotting material to fertilize other plants, and making the most use of growth that has died off. Fungus leshys are most active at night and spend the day in the forms of plump fungi amid their ripest compost heaps or fungal glens.

Vitarri:
Made a mistake earlier, but luckily Vitarri hasn't acted to it yet. The green fungus was not the one that used electricity. The electricity came from another, azure-colored, fungus on the wall. It seems passive and isn't attacking you, but there's no telling when it'll discharge again.

The blue fungus moves 5 feet to Aeilín, and attacks her with both its tendrils. She takes just a bit of acid damage from the second tendril.

Perhaps it is because they can't see beyond 10 feet and don't know where to go, but several party members continue to stand in the fungi infested area. Another jolt of electricity comes down from one of the fungi, and hits both Aeilín and Muchiko.

You defeated several fungi, but the fungus that shoots the electricity is passive and didn't attack: it simply unloads every 1d6 rounds. Every time most of you have posted I usually treat that as a round. For 'timers' like these, I also treat every reallife day that passes (almost) without posts as a round. I posted the advise of creating a distance between yourself and the outline 2 days ago.

I'm ready to move on when you are, but I'm waiting for anyone to heal Misarru so he's conscious again. If nobody heals him I'll move you to the next part of the map Monday.

Seems people are picking different maps to update. Steph, can you combine the maps?

The map's updated.

@Vitarri: You don't have healing spells left?

Apologies no reception at the hospital for some time. :(
Channel 0/3 remaining: 1d6 ⇒ 5

Busy with pulling Missarru out of the way, Vitarri hadn't thought of the others need for light. Accustomed to seeing in the dark already he held in a sigh and instead casted a light spell on his armor. It made him a bigger target but at least the others could see again. As they all moved out of the way of the deadly fungus he pulled free his symbol of the lord of iron once more and unleashed his last channel.

The healing energy washes over everyone, healing their wounds and negating some some of the damage from the fungus. However as soon as their wounds stop healing their is a stab of pain before the divine magic dissipates entirely.

"I have one blessing left to give, however this only affects one person. Who needs it the most?"

"Such sweet dreams, there different coloured fungi and flashes of light. It almost sounded like a good ol' day with a few of my mates." Misarru says when he wakes up again.

He slowly stands up and dusts himself off.
"So I reckon we got passed the damn thing right? Thanks for the healing Vitarri, I owe ya one."

@Vitarri: That's okay. I know you're at the hospital, that's why I said I'd wait till Monday if needed. But, with everyone back on their feet, let's proceed! :)

With Misarru back on his feet the party is ready to proceed. Past the area with the fungi the sewer splits. To sewer tunnel leading to the west looks like it was never finished. The tunnel to the east continues as far as the party can see.

A natural cleft in the rocky soil breaches the sewer wall north of teh party, and rises gently to the north. Heaps of stranded organic material and garbage litter the opening, from which emanates a pungent stink even stronger than the complex’s already unpleasant odor. A small ooze sits in the garbage. The ooze doesn't seem aware of you, and is busy sucking in a living rat.

The map's updated.

Tiefling Rogue/1

Misarru walks up alittle and stands close to the wall and peers around the corner.

"Hmm best to let that ooze creature undisturbed unless we really need to bypass it. It would be hard to stick your knife in I guess."

I'm assuming SN will let us know when we can see clearly, again.

"Ya know, I don't like these ooze things. But, I bet they dislike fire. Why can't we like, pour some oil in front of us, shoot it with an arrow, and as it comes forward towards us, light the oil on fire. Burn baby burn. Well, that's what my momma would say when I went out to play in the sunshine."
