The Man Behind the Curtain |
I forgot to post this in the Exchange mission rewards. The Doomseer was a 9th level wizard, and his spellbook contains the following spells:
5:Cone of Cold, Prying Eyes, Suffocation
4:Dimensional Anchor, Enervation, Locate Creature, Stoneskin
3: Dispel Magic, Fly, Haste, Invisibility Sphere
2: See Invisibility, False Life, Glitterdust, Locate Object, Mirror Image, Scare, Scorching Ray
1: Grease, Hydraulic Push, Magic Missile, Touch of Gracelessness, True Strike

I will get chronicle info to you sometime today- -it's in my car.

RE: Faction Cards:
When the mages have completed their thing, I'll drop that spellbook off with Zarta. (Recover a spellbook with total level of spells 18 or more)

SCORE (and I didn't know we could transcribe spells before we were powerful enough to cast them)!
1st-level (10 gp):
grease
hydraulic push
touch of gracelessness
true strike
2nd-level (40 gp):
glitterdust
locate object
scare
3rd-level (90 gp):
invisibility sphere
4th-level (160 gp):
dimensional anchor
locate creature
5th-level (250 gp):
cone of cold
prying eyes
suffocation
Total: 1,320 gp
Not so incidentally, I seem to recall some DM telling me that when we copy spells from spellbooks, there's actually some way to transcribe them for even cheaper than the standard penning costs suggest - anyone know anything about that? Obviously, it would save Peran and I a pretty sum if there's anything to that.
Bulgo Bluefoot |
There is a feat that can reduce costs. But when you copy from a spell book you typically pay (spell level squared) * ten gp.
If you don't already have a spell book or scroll, there is an extra 50% you pay for spellbook access.

Thanks for the game tMBtC!(and everyone else as well) That was a nice fun romp, with some decent battles and a nice bit of social interaction in the middle. Well done.
+1
Thanks for putting up with me (and Diri!). Definitely dug the group we had.
And, now I'm not the only one (who was playing when the old factions were around) in my area who hasn't played this scenario. So there's that.
Conlaoch McCullagh |
Conlaoch is Silver Crusade - did we defeat an outsider or undead of CR 3 or better? An evil divine casters CR 3 or more? Or were any of the people we rescued a divine caster with a good deity?
The Man Behind the Curtain |
You defeated an undead evil divine caster (that Dhampir oracle). You also rescued a good divine caster (the Paladin). Take your pick of one to check off.
Also, for the record, I think Diri is an awesome character. Sarsczek is still considering converting to Brigh if he can figure out what a religion is and why he can't bite it.
The Man Behind the Curtain |
And now for the well earned rewards.
A smell that bends at a 90 degree angle for Peran
Some extra coin on the side for Bulgo Bluefoot, never caught red-handed
PLEASE double check your rewards, make sure I didn't screw anything up. Everyone should have received full rewards for their appropriate tier, and 1 XP / 2 PP. If you can't access the sheet or it's illegible/screwed up/written in Aklo, let me know and I'll correct it.

Thanks a lot for the great game, TMBTC! :)
I had a blast playing this one ^^
Sihir Aneh |
...? I've already got one!
*looks over Chronicle, is disappointed to see it's not written in Aklo*
I choose the New Recruits option - and I've got the character for it right here! She's presently in the early stages of her first adventure, so I hope it's not too late to apply it to her.
This character is significantly less "new," but still pretty new, and if at all possible, maybe I'd prefer to give him the benefit instead.

Which, since his most recent adventure was nullified when the DM disappeared not too far into the game and was never replaced, Nectanebo still falls in! :)
