I also want to note, for future reference.

Marcel would sleep with his armor on, he gets no penalties for wearing the armor (Mithral Chain Shirt), and since it's light armor, sleeping in it is never an issue.

I'm actually fine with offering a full refund (or spending it differently, as you suggest).

Same for everyone else. Just as though Narsius had never joined your group.

Not sure if that's normally an acceptable solution, but we're already a bit off the track anyways ;-)

Ran Twisted Circle twice. First group of 5 players had a blast, and I had a lot of fun running it for them. Then the second group of 3 players + Kyra had a terrible time, and I felt like I had to keep defending the scenario.

Nefreet and Others Who've Played Twisted:
As a GM, I loved Twisted Circle. I think it translates poorly to the players, though. They just see that nothing they do matters and that their investigation is pointless as they wait for the one event to occur.

I've heard mixed things about Twisted myself. One of my GM's ran it, and much as he enjoyed it, he said he'd struggled to get the players involved. I think alot of the onus for it falls on the group.

Totally okay. I've been lagging in all of my PbPs since I started driving for Uber.

It's like having a second job takes away from your personal time, or something.

I'll do a thorough update tomorrow afternoon, but only because Grimdoc made that atrocious Perception DC! =P

Hey, everyone. My sincerest apologies for not posting this last week. I'm in kind of an extreme pickle. I just bowed out of all my PbPs and sent them all the same generic message. Life hit me kind of hard this week, and I don't see myself able to continue GMing this for you guys. Given that I'm the 2nd GM you've gone through, I feel especially terrible.

I also no longer have access to any of the stuff I prepped for this, including Chronicles. Sometime this week I'll try to visit the library and print one, fill it out in pen, scan it, and email it to you guys individually. I'll happily give you full rewards, since it's not your fault I was unable to finish it for you.

If you could email me with your character info to Nefreet@yahoo.com that would be great. If you want to know how this module concludes, ask me via email as well. Or if you want to seek out a 3rd GM, I won't fault you for doing so, either.

Again, I'm super sorry for having to do this. I wish you all the best of luck.

Yes thanks for taking over for our other GM. Appreciate the effort, especially as things started slowing for all of us. At this point probably best to cut our losses and close this out rather than find a third GM
