Marduk rounds the corner to finally find a beast worthy of his strength.
Alongside an arcane verse, he raises one hand high and then clenches it into a huge fist. The big orc's will takes form in the shape of a pillar of shimmering air that descends on the dragon from some unseen source overhead. Where the air touches flesh it burns with the intensity of the harshest desert sun.
Move. Cast sirocco.
SR if necessary: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (12) + 17 = 29
Fire Damage: 4d6 + 15 + 15 ⇒ (1, 5, 5, 1) + 15 + 15 = 42
If it takes any damage it's fatigued. If it takes the damage against next round it'll be exhausted.
If it's on the ground it needs to make a DC 15 fly check or be knocked to the ground. If it's already on the ground it needs to make a DC 22 fort save or be knocked prone.

As the Deva gets close to her, Nalshene suddenly grows to her normal, Small size, and as she falls to the floor, the creature swings its sword and takes a sizable chunk out of her arm. "Cursed creature, you'll pay for that one." she spits through gritted teech as she holds the arm which is suddenly much skinnier and more... bony.
Without her magical abilities, she is forced to simply scurry out of the way. Full withdraw around the corner. Hopefully that gets her out of the area of the antimagic field. If it does, she will then cast a Quickened Tenebrous loathsome veil right in front of her (shown by a line on the map) which the outsider will likely see when it rounds the corner before it can de-magic-ify it. If so, DC 27 Will save or become nauseated based on its hit dice - 11.

@Hugo: The electrical damage is contingent on the zelekut actually hitting the dragon. And yes, Zelekut #1 would emerge back from the aether. You might have to look back through the slides to see where it was.
The linnorm roars under the desert heat, scales baking under Marduk's spell.
Fortitude, Orange: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (13) + 20 = 33
Does the immune devil need to make a save?
The remaining angel-like being flies around the pillars to creep up on the Pathfinder flank!

Narshala, Deinonychus Companion |

Narshala will come to her master's side and stand at the ready, well-trained to know not to step through her master's magics. Narshala moves up beside Nalshene and readies to attack anything that gets close to her.

![]() |

I think the devil needs to save against getting knocked to the ground but he's immune to the damage/fatigue.

![]() |

Sorry again to have slowed things down so much. Will try to do better going forward but personal life is a little crazy right now.
Agata glares at the Blue deva in front of her. "Yer in me way, dearie." Then she moves around it, seemingly unafraid of it.
Move action to move around the deva, provoking an AoO, drawing her quicksilver flask (Breath of Life) as part of the move action.
@GM, I've noted two possible locations for Agata, based on whether she can move 40' (from her Overland Flight fly speed) once she is out of the antimagic field. If her whole movement is limited to her "natural" speed then she would only be able to move 30', which would put her at the second position (further from the dragon).
Assuming Agata is still able to act after the deva's AoO...
Once Agata is out of Blue's antimagic field, she lets fly with the flask, aiming for the body of the fallen Artemis. standard action to throw the splash weapon.
Thrown Splash Weapon, 2nd range increment, vs AC 5: 1d20 + 15 - 2 ⇒ (4) + 15 - 2 = 17
Breath of Life: 5d8 + 20 ⇒ (1, 8, 1, 3, 8) + 20 = 41
Finally, Agata quickly casts a spell at the enormous dragon that looms above. Swift action to cast Piercing Quickened Enervation
Ranged Touch Attack: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (8) + 15 = 23
Caster Level check vs Ice Linnorm SR 28: 1d20 + 15 + 2 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 15 + 2 + 5 = 36
Temporary Negative Levels: 1d4 ⇒ 1
If Agata is hit by something that requires a save she will use Fortune to roll twice and take the better result.
Agata takes the improved Reflex and AC from Blessing of Fervor.
Agata Hexes:
* Fortune: Once per round, allows you to reroll any ability check, attack roll, saving throw, or skill check, taking the better result. You must decide to use this ability before the first roll is made.
* Fortune on Urko (expires before Agata's turn on round 5)
* Fortune on Agata (expires before Agata's turn on round 5)

Sweet Mawd |

Sweet Mawd follows her mistress, quickly flying to the side of the fallen Artemis to bestow healing upon him from her Staff of Healing.
Her movement will provoke an AoO from the Deva if it hasn't already used up all its AoO options on Agata.
Cure Serious Wounds: 3d8 + 8 ⇒ (4, 1, 5) + 8 = 18 I think this puts Artemis at 25 hp above unconscious?
Sweet Mawd also takes the extra AC and Reflex from Blessing of Fervor

"Hey! How do I hurt this thing!" Miranda calls, torn between the need to make sure they aren't leaving an enemy at their back and the need to go help her allies.
I believe Agata had figured out the DR of Red, but it just hadn't be communicated ICly yet due to having so much else going on. If I can assume Agata would answer that question as a free action, then my actions are:
Swearing to herself, Miranda draws an oil that will bless her weapon and up-ends it over the blade...
Bless weapon oil, on my rapier

![]() |

Yes, Agata would have communicated everything she's learned about the creatures. I was having trouble keeping track of the various creatures so I wrote up a summary of what I think we've learned so far. Please add any additional info that I may have left out. You can find it here.

@Agata: Position #2 (closer to the linnorm) is fine.
AoO (Blue) vs Agata: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (11) + 17 = 28
Damage: 2d6 + 7 ⇒ (3, 4) + 7 = 14
The "angel" delivers a stinging blow to Agata as she passes on by, but that doesn't stop her from reviving Artemis with her extract, casually inflicting weakness upon the linnorm in passing! Meanwhile, Narshala goes up to her mistress alert and ready to intercept any who would do her harm. Sweet Maud moves up to Artemis as well, and heals some of her wounds away as further behind, the Rose of Taldor imbues her weapon with the holiest of blessings. Her opponent stays prone, unable to really comprehend what is going on.
The figure trapped in Unity's statue writhes as she tries to escape, every single one of her nerves aflame.
Unity, in the meantime, does something that gives Venture-Captain Hugo shivers as he remembers another time, and another place a similar spell was used.
Agata, Sweet Maud, Artemis, and Urko: I need a Reflex save against a spell that'll inflict some fire damage.
Fire Storm, DC 27: 20d6 ⇒ (5, 1, 1, 3, 5, 4, 4, 5, 6, 6, 5, 3, 6, 6, 5, 4, 1, 3, 5, 1) = 79

![]() |

At the point where the angel makes its AoO against Agata, neither Defending Bone nor Greater False Life should be in operation, due to the antimagic field, so the 14 points of damage come off of Agata's "real" hp. Just fyi.
Also, just confirming that Orange took 1 negative level from enervation? I don't see it in the status block but possibly you didn't update it yet.
NOT using Fortune to roll twice and take the better result (and reminding Urko that he has this option)
Reflex DC 27, Blessing of Fervor, Runeward Tattoo: 1d20 + 21 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 21 + 2 + 1 = 32 Agata has evasion (from a ring) so she takes no damage from the fire storm.

Sweet Mawd |

Reflex DC 27, Blessing of Fervor: 1d20 + 12 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 12 + 2 = 16 Sweet Mawd fails the save but has improved evasion, so she takes half damage, or 39. She has Fire Resistance 30 so she takes 9 dmg, which comes off of her 33 temp hp (from Greater False Life and Heroes' Feast).

![]() |

Urko, reflex save: 1d20 + 30 ⇒ (20) + 30 = 50
Urko has evasion so take no damage

Artemis has improved evasion so takes no damage

Hugo cringes as he sees the blast of fire wash over the others, but fortunately he is within the protective umbrella of the nearby angel.
That spell is best handled with proper protections. Without them, the effects can be devastating.

@Nalshene: Not yet, but you should roll an SR check.
Artemis unleashes her pent-up fury upon the linnorm. However, it seems as if the creature, while blind, is still capable of anticipating the tiger's movements. But being exhausted, it still takes the brunt of Artemis' fury.
Unity shakes its head and states evenly, as it moves in closer: "No."
And this is where it gets annoying/possibly not kosher. I hope I'm interpreting Break Enchantment correctly.

Agata, you lose Hunter's Blessing, Mage Armor, Heroism, and Overland Flight. Sweet Maud loses Mage Armor and Heroism. Again, Unity just cast Break Enchantment.
The devil (almost forgetting he owes Marduk a Fly check) struggles to remain in the air!

Miss Chance (I like high): 1d100 ⇒ 3

Reroll Claw Miss Chance (I like high): 1d100 ⇒ 76
Reroll Tail Miss Chance (I like high): 1d100 ⇒ 89
So at least the tail hits; assuming Break Enchantment is working as intended, I'm going to need new stats for you fine folk in your ribbon so I can figure out if the linnorm has a chance in hell. And since there's a Freedom of movement on Artemis, I'm going to save the server from generating yet another d20.

![]() |

Break Enchantment is I think kosher but does have one small flaw, the casting time is 1 minute. You can do it with something like limited wish or miracle to duplicate a spell but if it is an SLA it inherits the casting time.
As for the spells, mage armour shouldnt be caught as its conjuration and divine favour is an evocation spell

![]() |

I can do it through one of those methods, I just need to check which of those spells I need to use (Unity may have both).

![]() |

before Hugo can go..,a few questions
1) who was hit by cone of cold, including Zelekhut #2?
2) is Hugo and either Zelekhut in AMZ (I am assuming Zelekhut #1 is and cannot move out until angel thing moves.
3) is the devil still at 60’ up after the attacks?

![]() |

Agata loses Hunter's Blessing, Heroism, and Overland Flight. As noted, Mage Armor should still be up. I think the Break Enchantment will also have a chance to dispel Blessing of Fervor and Merge With Familiar (which are transmutation)? Agata was flying 5' up, but I think the ending of Overland Flight just causes her to float to the ground, rather than fall?
NOT using Fortune ability on this save
Agata Reflex vs Cone of Cold DC 20, Runeward Tattoo: 1d20 + 19 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 19 + 1 = 26
Agata has evasion so she takes no damage from Cone of Cold.

Sweet Mawd |

Sweet Mawd loses Heroism but not Mage Armor. In addition, there is a chance that she loses Haste and Blessing of Fervor (both transmutation). She does have SR 20 if it's relevant to Break Enchantment and Unity doesn't auto-succeed.
The ice devil needs to make an SR check vs SR 20 for cone of cold vs Sweet Mawd.
Reflex vs Cone of Cold, DC 20: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (4) + 10 = 14 +2 if BoFervor is still active, but it doesn't matter.
Sweet Mawd has improved evasion, so she takes half damage, which is 24. She has Cold Resistance 10, so she takes 14 dmg (*if* the ice devil beats her SR), which will all come off her temp hp from False Life, leaving her with 10 temp hp.

![]() |

Unity vs Blessing of Fervor (Sweet Maud): 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (5) + 15 = 20
Devil vs SR: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (14) + 13 = 27
The devil overcomes Sweet Maud's SR, Agata does float to the ground, and we burn a Miracle.
@Hugo:1)Zelekut, Artemis, Urko, Sweet Maud and Agata are all targets. 2) Yellow Zelekut is in an AMZ. 3)That is where they are chilling (no pun intended. Well ok, maybe pun intended).

Artemis, Animal Companion |

Artemis also twists in the air, trying to avoid the cone of cold.
Reflex: 1d20 + 21 ⇒ (8) + 21 = 29
She also emerges unscathed.
Her tagline is also now up to date.
I have removed the buffs Urko and Artemis have lost from the spreadhseet.
Artemis has 101 damage on her after the tail hit

Sweet Mawd |

Oops, I goofed: Sweet Mawd actually has 30 resistance to all four energy types from the Communal Energy Resistance cast earlier, so she takes no damage from the 24 cold damage from the cone of cold, so she is still at full hp plus 24 temp hp.

SR check: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (3) + 13 = 16
The zelekut flies up to confront the devil, lashing out with its chain; but unfortunately, while the ice devil is struck, the chain only leaves a small welt upon it's flesh. Musing over the effectiveness of its spell, it states, bemused: "Unity is the lawful ruler of this plane. You and your master are trespassing", before a column of flame and fire strikes it, but leaves it unharmed. "The master of Aktun holds no sway here, as this proves. Begone."
Beneath, the linnorm looks to Hugo with murder in its eyes as the spell leaves it unscathed!

It will need to make a DC 25 Will save or be effected by color spray as if it had 11 fewer hit dice.

The Ice Devil needs to make a DC 24 Will save. It possibly takes a -4 penalty on the save, per the feeblemind spell text, depending on whether it is considered "a creature that can cast arcane spells."
Agata laughs, softly at first, and then louder, with perhaps a bit of mania. Move action to Cackle to extend Fortune hex.
If Agata is hit by something that requires a Fort or Will save she will use Fortune to roll twice and take the better result.
Agata takes the improved Reflex and AC from Blessing of Fervor.
Agata Hexes:
* Fortune: Once per round, allows you to reroll any ability check, attack roll, saving throw, or skill check, taking the better result. You must decide to use this ability before the first roll is made.
* Fortune on Urko (expires before Agata's turn on round 6)
* Fortune on Agata (expires before Agata's turn on round 6)
Reminder for everyone: here's the list of what I think we currently know about the various creatures' abilities, immunities, resistances, etc.

We might be vomiting, sick and really angry, but we have AMF up, and likely will till the end of our lives.

Marduk's AC is 23 at the moment so that's one hit.
Marduk chuckles as the angel attacks him. "I am here to kill a god, whelp. Your strength is nothing before mine."
The huge orc strikes back with a vengeance.
Primary (haste, power attack, arcane strike): 1d20 + 24 ⇒ (15) + 24 = 39
Damage: 2d4 + 38 ⇒ (2, 2) + 38 = 42
Iterative: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (2) + 19 = 21
Damage: 2d4 + 38 ⇒ (2, 2) + 38 = 42
Haste Attack: 1d20 + 24 ⇒ (4) + 24 = 28
Damage: 2d4 + 38 ⇒ (2, 4) + 38 = 44
The pillar of heat continues to pummel the dragon within it.
Fire Damage: 4d6 + 15 + 15 ⇒ (5, 3, 4, 3) + 15 + 15 = 45
The linnorm is exhausted now.

Marduk's AC is 23 at the moment so that's one hit.
Could you break down your AC? Remember that you are in an AMZ, thus your buffs are taking a five minute break.

![]() |

Oh, I didn't realize I was in the AMZ too. Where is it on the map?

![]() |

I believe that Blue, Purple, and Brown are radiating AMZ in 10' radius around them.

![]() |

Ah, I thought the AMZ was only on one of them.
In that case, Marduk will swing once and then move to break up the full attacks. This will provoke of course. Ignore the iterative and haste attacks and take -8 off the attack and -11 off the damage of the primary due to losing haste, GMW, arcane strike, and my enhancement bonus to strength.

Will Save vs Feeblemind: 1d20 + 12 - 4 ⇒ (10) + 12 - 4 = 18
The ice devil's eyes take on a glassy look as it emits a sound that even to Unity's highly advanced processors can't quite process into something intelligible.
Meanwhile, Marduk, having been hit twice by his opponent, returns the favor once. And to the barbarian's chagrin it seems that the creature does not take as much damage as he thought he had inflicted.
The last "angel" swoops onto Artemis to end her existence!
Greatsword vs Artemis (No Buffs): 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (17) + 17 = 34
Damage: 2d6 + 7 ⇒ (6, 4) + 7 = 17
If the profile AC for Artemis is correct, I hit. If not, I'll correct her damage taken tracker it next update.

![]() |

It’s worth mentioning that DR is supernatural and thus suppressed by anti magic field.

![]() |

I'll correct that too in my next update then!

Sweet Mawd |

Another minor correction: both Agata and Urko's Fortune hexes now expire on round 6.
Sweet Mawd steps back 5' and then, finding herself still in the anti-magic field, with the blinded dragon and the feeble-minded devil both looming above her, glances into her pouch and notes that she is still carrying the peculiar metal objects they found (much) earlier. I wonder if these are magical? Can't hurt to try one... She pulls one out, draws the pin, and tosses it at the brown deva.
ranged touch? no buffs: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (12) + 15 = 27
These were the grenades that we found I can't even remember when. And I'm afraid I don't remember what kind of grenades they were and what they do. Let me know if this won't work and I'll try to do something else with Sweet Mawd (most likely Acrobatics to try to avoid an AoO from Brown and then moving to Marduk to give some healing (CSW) from the staff of healing).
Sweet Mawd takes the AC and Reflex boost from Blessing of Fervor (when/if it becomes active - right now she is still in the AMZ)

"Now stay down, I have to go help my friends," Miranda says darkly as she unleashes a now-blessed blade into her still-incapacitated foe-- hoping to end the enemy so she can go deal with all the new ones...
Attack 1, heroism, haste, greater magic weapon (vs red): 1d20 + 26 + 2 + 1 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 26 + 2 + 1 + 3 = 49 (Potential critical)
Damage, adamantine, magic, +4 weapon, limning, good-aligned: 1d6 + 17 ⇒ (2) + 17 = 19
Confirm critical?: 1d20 + 32 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 32 + 4 = 43
Extra critical damage: 1d6 + 17 ⇒ (4) + 17 = 21 And DC 25 Fort or blinded but this seems unlikely to matter
Attack 2: 1d20 + 27 ⇒ (10) + 27 = 37
Damage: 1d6 + 17 ⇒ (1) + 17 = 18
Attack 3: 1d20 + 22 ⇒ (1) + 22 = 23
Damage: 1d6 + 17 ⇒ (3) + 17 = 20
Attack 4 (hasted): 1d20 + 32 ⇒ (2) + 32 = 34
Damage: 1d6 + 17 ⇒ (4) + 17 = 21

Artemis, Animal Companion |

Yes, unbuffed that hits Artemis who drops to AC34 I think. I need to recalculate her entire stat line for no buffs which I can only easily do one I am back home tomorrow. I will put unbuffed taglines in a spoiler at the end of my posts. Her current and maximum HP also drop due to divine vessel being suppressed.

Artemis, Animal Companion |

OK, I now have a stat block for when Artemis is in an AMF and it isnt good. She is now critically injured. She also goes down to being large so I have shrunk her down. I assume the angel thing has enough movement to follow up.
Artemis
HP 4|110
AC31, T14, FF26, CMD 33
Fort +12, Reflex +13, Will +9
+4 vs enchantment

Urko is now also inside the AMF which makes a major change to his stats.

Fort +18, Reflex +26, Will +17
