Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for levels 1–5.

Rival explorers have beaten the Pathfinders to a valuable site in Katapesh, but fortunately most of the riches—including the obscure text the Society sought in the first place—have ended up in the capitol’s extensive bazaars. What is at first a routine shopping trip spirals out of control as the PCs uncovers the writing’s secret past—and secret messages.

As the group trundles out the door, they are reacquainted with a slowly rousing Venture Captain Wulessa in the comforting confines of Farseer Tower - the one you started all this mess in.

She looks up at you with a tired and relieved face. Oh thank goodness Pathfinders, you saved me...it seems we did not have as good of a handle on the nature of this artifact as I had thought - I had the ritual for STORING memories, not accessing them. It seems this is something that had to be done toward the end of life, for it would have robbed me of my cognitive functions entirely...this will bear further study. In the meanwhile, I thank you for your service and I will see to it that a hearty recommendation of your service be placed in the chronicle of these events.

The End! I will work on your chronicle sheets. I need everyone to roll a d20 for boons - 1s and 20s earn something! I also get a chance to roll so..

ah that reminds me, I need to do my roll for scribing Enlarge Person into it.

Plus I might do it again if there are some interesting scrolls in this adventure.

I might have this wrong but I believe the DC is 16. 15 + spell level.

Spellcraft: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (6) + 10 = 16

I believe Emdaleen mentioned something of cost...all I see it stating is that the GM needs to write on the sheet that he indeed saw me make the successful roll for scribing it into the book. I did buy the scroll from another adventure I believe.

Well you can still add it to your spellbook, you just can't prepare it yet. That costs 40 gold.

yeah, but I now failed the check as it's DC is 1 higher as it's 2nd level not 1st.

Yes, I believe you can Take 10, which should basically auto-succeed for the first few levels at least.
