I whole-heartedly agree with you Tywin, and sure George, the other claw is more appropriate.
Everyone gets ready to smite the pool of silvery goo when it comes out, and it does indeed, giving up the body of the halfling. All hells break loose: a well-aimed firebolt, two deadly arrows... however, the pool seems to be unaffected by all you're throwing at him. Later investigation by Dark Archive experts will indeed reveal that the goo was made of thousands of tiny machines. ... and thus is considered as a swarm when it's out of the body.
The cyberplasm moves onto George, Sad Rock, Pendleton and Tywin and tries to infest the alchemist!
Automatic damage for all four: 2d6 ⇒ (2, 2) = 4
George needs to save vs infestation (Fort). If he makes it, he needs to save vs distraction (also Fort).
Sad Rock needs to save vs distraction.
Initiative - round 7 - bold may act!
1. Cyberplasm
2. Professor F, Shahrazad, Kalendir, George, Sad Rock, Tywin
Initiative count on hold until the outcome of George's possible infestation is resolved.

perhaps we should allow it to possess a weak person like Tywin and grapple him. Keep healing and hurting him as the swarm won't get healed bij channels.

Having used up her 1/day burning hands SLA, I don't think Shah has anything to do against swarms so if/when it comes to her she will keep inspiring and heal people with her wand as needed.

I have two Alchemist Fires

1 person marked this as a favorite. |

Round 6, Group 3
1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22 Fort vs. Distraction
"Thank you for healing, CharRaisin," Sad says as he looks at the swarms with ugh. Usually, he runs from such things, but realizes he might also need to help fight.
He moves back move and draws his only alchemist flask move.
"Anyone want this? Sad not want to burn anyone...because everyone like burning Sad," Sad offers the flask around.

Fortitude Save: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14

![]() |

oh dear, our monster alchemist tank just got possessed. Maybe we should just take pendleton and run :P.

![]() |

stabilize: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20
Tywin is stable, but could definitely use healing. Channel heal next? I can summon something to keep George busy. If prof heals, Tywin can take his action right away right?

![]() |

I could summon a lightning elemental, unfortunately, it has no chance of hitting George with his buffs right now with only a +5 to hit (granted it can get upped to +3 if he wairs metal, don't think he does and another +3 due to flanking and bard buffs)

![]() |

Only thing I can think of now is to grapple him all together (aiding eachother) and tie him down and hope the lighting elemental is able to do some shocking dmg then. Or would a lightning elemental be allowed to try a melee touch for just its lightning dmg Lithrac? That might just be lucky enough to hit.

The professor frowns as the swarm of tiny robots disappears into George before he can make use of his fiery magicks.
"Well, uh... that's not fair is it? They were barely outside of their host..."
As he adjusts his glasses and becomes aware that they are inside George of all the possible hosts, he swallows hard.
"Well, that's not good now is it?"
Realizing that their odds may be improved by the return of Tywin to the realm of the conscious, and that the halfling may not survive an errant attack by George, he focuses on healing once more.
Channel (excluding George): 2d6 ⇒ (3, 2) = 5
He then backs away towards the door.
"Perhaps we should grab Pendleton and return for Georgie in a few moments once we are better prepared, Sir Rock?"
Professor:
HP: 30/30; AC: 14 (T11/FF14)
F: +6, R: +1, W: +6
Spells Cast Today:
2nd - Produce flame (as CMW)
1st - Burning hands, Command
Channel remaining: 2/6
Fire bolt remaining: 4/6
Bless Wand remaining: 44/50

Kalendir's second arrow delves deep inside the tiefling's flesh, and severs something inside him. A breath, strangely, emerges from George's lips, then his eyes regain their usual color. The glowing veins on the alchemist's skin slowly fade, the body free at last of the presence of the cyberplasm!
End combat! The cyberplasm was at 1 hp left (it was taking half damage from the wounds inflicted to its host), so Kalendir slays it!
Pendleton slowly emerges from his comatose state, recovering from his wounds thanks to the Professor's ministrations, but still weak from the ordeal he's been through. He doesn't seem to retain any memory of what happened since he was infested by the cyberplasm, but thanks you nonetheless. No doubt his influential family will be pleased to see its scion alive. The Blakros family celebrates your accomplishments with a grand dinner held in your honor, introducing you Absalom’s most noteworthy nobles. A rare chance for mere Pathfinder agents!
With the cyberplasm destroyed, the surviving staff of the Blakros Museum can begin cleaning and repairs. With the chaos in the museum put to rest, Nigel Aldain immediately begins assessing the damage in hopes of still opening the following night. Of course, you also earn Drendle Dreng's thanks, and are able to avoid the mound of paperwork he had in mind for you.
This is the end of the scenario, well done! I hope you enjoyed yourselves - those two fights were definitely epic! The Chronicle Sheets will be issued in the Discussion thread, please download and print them.

Holy Crap!
Kalendir rushes over and tends to George's wounds. Are you alright?

![]() |

Tywin sighs a little easier
"Oh thank god we were able to defeat that creature. I felt violated when it entered me!"

Round 7, Group 3
Sad watches as Kalendir's arrow strikes George and he prepares to move in to take his swings after the barrage. However, even as he is tightening his fists around his club, the ooze stops and so Sad stops.
He bends over panting.
"You okay, Gee-Orgy?" Sad looks at the man tiefling, hoping he doesn't need to club his brains out.

I feel much better. Thanks for the arrow to the chest, Kalendir. He lets Sad Rock pulls him up. Feel great, Sad. Thanks for the help. He pulls the arrow from his chest, wincing slightly in pain behind his mask.

![]() |

'Good shot, Kale-Deer," Sad exults.
Sad reaches over to help George, putting away his alchemist fire and drawing his wand of CLW.
"Iumdae sucks!" Sad says, invoking the power of his wand on George.
1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8 healing (13/50 left)
And again:
"Iumdae sucks!"
1d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4 healing
On himself twice:
"Iumdae sucks!"
1d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6 healing
"Iumdae sucks!"
1d8 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2 healing (10/50 left)
When the party is ready, he will join with the Blackros staff in cleaning up the messes and making sure no more metaljerks are around.
Only when that is done will he waddle back to the Lodge.

Shahrazad lets her unfinished tale linger, allowing all to speculate about its ending....
"Well done everyone. This was certainly a trying task but we have retained our good friends the Blakroses as allies of the Society. It will certainly be a tale of its own to tell."
"Sad my dear, would like to escort me back to the Lodge? I would like to talk to you some more about the Pathfinder Society...."
I had a great time as always Lithrac! And it was good to play with Sad agains, always a pleasure!
@GM: I have the chronicle downloaded and saved even though I said earlier I wouldn't be able to print until Tuesday. Thanks!

The professor gives George a few pokes as he glances at the remnants of the machines that possessed him.
"Good news, Georgie! I do believe you and Tywin have had something of a close encounter of the most excellent kind. Perhaps you'd both be so kind to drop by my home later for a more... ahem.. thorough examination?"
The professor raises his oversized eyebrows a few times, suggestive of Brigh-knows-what.
