I think this scenario just became a lot more interesting. It's my intention to take each of these tasks, make it look like we've done them properly, but put a trap to Torch in each of them. All while not causing harm to any of his targets...
...and we have to formally apologise to the GM for sabotaging his scenario.
Khismia al-Khair
|
I this might be interesting, but Khismia is pretty much lawful character, so you need to convince her, that this way it could be good...
Too bad she (or any other of my characters) haven't been in any scenarios with Torch before, than might be she wouldn't mind screw him over.

I guess you have to balance tricking/setting up/lying to Torch against dirty deeds done to others at his "request."
Sneaking something into someone's gear with unknown intent, "retrieving" artifacts with an unclear ownership claim (and declaring artifacts of any sort "expendable"), potentially strong-arming/blackmailing someone -- all at the behest of someone questionable we don't know -- seems pretty dodgy to me.
So I think it could go either way for a Lawful Neutral, and you-the-player can be at ease with whatever decision you make.
Khismia al-Khair

Tuich, most of my characters are Good or good-intended Neutrals. Khismia is not an exception and I want to play her as person with inner conflict. It would be nice, if other characters in our party will invoke her good side, point her that some of those tasks are not really harmful, but her haunt will try to force her to a dark side.
I don't have much opportunities to play IRL. This game is really inspiring.
Dylara Yssal

It'll sure be interesting to see how we'll take care of the tasks!
Dylara's Chaotic Neutral, and prepared to do what's necessary for the Society's mission. She could take care of some of the things other characters may refuse to do.

Tuichie's CN as well, but she has that whole "atonement" thing haunting her (not literally, that's Tooley's job, haha). Having done a very bad thing -- albeit unintentionally -- she tends to be hypersensitive about getting involved with anything questionable.
She's still unpredictable and flexible, there are simply some "off-limits" areas. :o)

Sczarni Syndicate is dead and gone. Tuich had to switch to The Exchange.
(Probably for the best anyway, she only signed up with Sczarni to access the grapevine and keep an eye on those ne'er-do-wells in the hopes of derailing their plans.)
I don't know why the badges haven't changed over.

If you see weird errors in my English, feel free to message me, so I do not repeat them again. English isn't my native and I have so many things I'd like to express from my character point of view.

I’m looking for people who’d like to play in my PbP Game Day games. They’ll all be tier 1-2. If you’re interested, here are the links to the recruitment pages:

Glass River is the only one I haven't done. For PFS I only have a single L2 (Wyeth) and a single L3 (Tuich). One of them is already committed to a Game Day scenario, so I probably won't have anything available. But we'll see.
Khismia al-Khair
|
Thanks!
I've been struggling to take that role for several month, basically, more than a year.
I greatly enjoy playing PFS games here at Paizo Messageboards, and I think I might contribute involving more and more players in local community with them.
You are great!

Wow, awesome, Khismia.
Oh, and I wanted to mention that you shouldn't feel too self-conscious about your English. It's perfectly understandable.
Dylara Yssal

It looks like with APL 3 we are playing 4-5 tier with 4 player adjustments.
And half of my character's standing outside the well... xD
Ah well, at least the gold reward will be the average of the 2 subtiers' rewards. So that's a good thing for me! If I survive :P
Miko Teppen

Sure you will. One of your highest level players is a sub-optimized sorcerer/bard with a rack of wands to compensate for that.
Vincent Blackwood

Congrats on VC! That's pretty awesome. Good luck getting things going in your area.
Playing up sounds fun. We'll see if we all die. Playing up means we fight encounters like "4 ghasts" instead of "2 ghouls" in my experience.

Hmm... given the size of the avatar and its bi-coloration, it looks like we're up against one of these.

Originally I had meant to stand by Khismia's right, but I can't modify the map from my phone. Can someone move me to her right hand side?

Done, if you meant to be standing immediately adjacent to the snake (shudder). Otherwise somebody else needs to put you where you wanted to go!
Dylara Yssal

My level 5 ranger had to fight one of these snakes around the same time this fight also started. That one was completely butchered, haha!
That ranger has a large constrictor snake by the way, but both of the snakes were unable to harm the other.

Dear friends,
I will be travelling for several days and should be back around end of week. I'll be monitoring events, when I have little time and Internet connection. Sorry for delays, I might cause.
GM, feel free to bot my character, if my actions are blocking others.

Cool description for Bane, Khismia. Is the skull something that we can all see, or is it solely something she can see?

I'll be on camp Wednesday - Friday, and the internet connection is rumored to be awful where I'm staying. I'm taking my laptop with me, but I can't guarantee I'll be able to make posts while there.

Your fight's with me, bright eyes!
Oh great, now I have Simon and Garfunkel stuck in my head for the rest of the day....

Personally, I love singing snippets of songs so they get stuck in my wife's head. She's obviously less fond of this, but it cracks me up every time. Last week I had her singing It's raining men. Hallelujah.

That not as cool as I failed.
I started playing Serpent's Path AP with Investigator and forgot to buy alchemist craft kit and put skill points into Craft (alchemy). That might be an epic adventure for my character with 2 extracts of endure elements and touch of the sea. I was so glad my GM allowed me to "find" it in ship remains, that I forgot to ask him about skill changes.
That's pretty rough, considering the complete lack of towns until you hit the second module. That's as bad as a wizard with no spell book or component pouch... or a gunslinger without a gunsmith's kit.
Khismia al-Khair

I enjoy playing him as young elven Gerald Durrell, who use sap to subdue everything and screaming during combat: "Beware that lizard, it's bite is poisonous. I'd like to research it more, so don't kill it right away". He already has unconscious large snake and giant lizard in his zoo :) Currently, he tries to convince his party not to kill local cannibals, because they could be useful :) I'm not aware about how this AP will go, but so far, it is nice story.

Serpent's Skull is a lot of fun. But it is super deadly. Not quite as bad as, say, Council of Thieves, but it's up there in difficulty. Book 3 saw two character deaths for our party, including my witch.

Wy wife won an IT conference ticket in nearby city, she will be attending. I will be accompanying her in travel, so my posting will be sporadic from November, 15th till 21st.
Hopefully, I will get a chance to introduce Pathfinder Society in Lithuania while in trip or at least meet local players.

I am working in IT consultancy for one of world-known leaders. You know, guys in suits with ties, that travel with laptop and talk like smart-a$$es :) Because of that, several previous years I saw my family weekends (and vacations) only spending 4 hours Friday evening and getting up 4 hours earlier on Monday to travel to clients office. I heard it's pretty common thing in US and there are guys who drive 7 hours to get home, but it's bit weird here. Now I'm enjoying quiet downtime. Looks like I was scheduled to stay at home city till end of August. And this fact doesn't disappoints me at all :)

You know, I've been meaning to thank you, Tuich. I've started watching RWBY because you've mentioned it a few times. It's a cool show. My wife in particular really digs it.

I saved RWBY in my list of shows to watch. I also thought it looked quite nice, and figured I should check it out.

Yeah, and the final season was just amazing. I actually got teary more than a few times. My wife was bawling at the end of 3.4. She turned to me and said something like, "I thought this was supposed to be about video games!"
