Dotting, I'll check over Xavian before we start! Thanks Derek!

GM Derek W |

My posting ability will probably be a little less the next few days. I'm attending a con on Saturday and need to get housework done during the next few nights, else I'll be in big trouble at home. Also, work is getting busier.

GM Derek W |

Sorry for the lack of action guys. There are a few potential fights, all packed in at the end.
I wanted a low-combat sceanrio becuase my GM plate is pretty full right now. But if you'd like, I can definitely find something a bit more punchy to run after this. Give Justin, Tristan, and Belvica a few heads to knock ;)

GM Derek W |

It's all good! But variety can be nice too. We've just run two of the most social-intensive sceanrios out there, so if you guys want a little more action, I can certainly oblige.

Hey, that wayfinder app is pretty cool. It does have some quirks that I don't think I like, but the speech and ooc buttons more than make up for it.

There are a couple of issues with the Wayfinder app.
1. It doesn't allow you to preview your posts, so when you are rolliing an attack you don't know iif you need to roll a crit confirm or not. And you can't edit after you post, so it is a little inefficiient.
2. The screen doesn't rotate, and with my tablet, the case/keyboard require the device to be horizontal. A fairly minor inconvenience.
3. It doesn't allow you to be looking at the gameplay thread, and then scroll uup to the map links. Again, fairly minor.
All in all, foor a buck it isn't a bad app at all. I like it for when i don't have a lot of time to check, it shows me whih of my threads has posts so I can quickly check them ratherr than having to go through each character one by one. However, when I have the time, I aam just going to use my tablet's Google Chrome browser.

GM Derek W |

Sorry for the long delay! Sick family all weekend slowed me down. Also, I am under increasing scrutiny at work to account for my time. This means I'll need to keep daytime updates to a minimum (around lunchtime, like this one). I'll try to keep up a good pace, though I may need to drop some of my other games. This may impact my ability to run more games in the future, we'll just have to see.

No problem Derek, remaining employed is still important!

![]() |

LOL, Tristan! :)
Seriously, Derek. The real world is more important and it will not kill us to wait a little longer for an update from the DM. Shoot, you are willing to wait on us to make an update, why shouldn't we be willing to wait on you?
But I have to confess I see your side. That is why I rarely grouped in MMOs and could never raid. I always felt like I was holding the rest of the group up if I was not focused on the screen with my hands ready at the keyboard. (that's nuts by the way). That is why I like pathfinder so much; I do not have to commit to a regularly scheduled game where other players are depending on me to show up to keep the game balanced. With pathfinder, there are always others willing to take the spot. And now that I've found this play-by-post stuff, I'm in heaven. One post a day is finally slow enough that I don't worry too much about dragging everyone down.

![]() |

Here here Justin! I feel the same way about this pbp stuff. It is almost the perfect pace for me. Near impossible for me to devout a chunk of time, even like four hours, to get a game in. The pacing of these games is perfect for me. No worries Derek, I will be ready to post when needed. Real world comes first, but really enjoying the last few games with everyone and am looking forward to continuing.

![]() |

Maybe the slower posting will make less days where I gt home from work to find 10 new posts ;)

![]() |

ha, yeah. Honestly though this is a great group with good dynamics. No one is going to be upset if there isn't a new post right away. we will just check back the next day.
we like you Derek! dont break up with us! lol!

sorry ive been so absent! ive been working some extra shifts, i just bought and sold my house an i move on the 28th! and ive been applying for a masters program!
sorry for neglecting the Gameplay!

![]() |

Damn, I can see why though. Having gone thru a similar experience in 2012 I can understand the situation. Good Luck!

GM Derek W |

[sarcasm]How dare you! This is a game, man! Get it together.[/sarcasm]
Seriously though, good luck with all of that! You've definitely got a full plate.

Ditto ;)

Great job guys! Full prestige, and you didn't even have to fight! When I played this my group couldn't get the Diplomacy on the blind lady, so we actually had our witch slumber hex her. So having Contilo put her to sleep would have worked, just not as well.
I will need to do individual chronicles for this one. Please roll your Day Jobs here. I need to know what level you were at DURING the game too. This will affect your GP if you were level 3 (Xavian mightbe the only one).
Those with me since Silent Tide who aren't level 3 yet probably reached it with this game.
As for the next game, I need to take a week or two to find something and get ready. I'll keep this thread open and post once I have some ideas.
Thanks guys!

Thanks again for a great game Derek. I will definitely be jonseing for some PFS until we can get the next one going, but take as much time as you need. I really appreciate you running us through these.
As for Hec's level, he was level 1 for this scenario but once he snags this Chronicle, he will level up to 2. My first level up in PFS! As for Hec's gold, I did buy a wand after the last adventure. I will post my current gold total per my chronicle sheets later today if that's cool.
And for the day job roll,
Profession(Barrister): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24
Looks like another successful victory in court for Heccan.
Thanks again everyone for another great session. Once again had a blast gaming with you all.

@Belvica - the Everwar series is unfortunatley for levels 7-11. There are a few older two- and three-part stories that we could do. Shades of Ice (3 parts) is one I'd kind of like to run. It's got some investigaiton but also some tough combats.
I'm currently playing The Devil We Know on the boards, I'd like to finish all that before I run it.
Could also do Before the Dawn (2 parts) or Shadow's Last Stand (2 parts). Shandow's Last Stand would follow up on the story in The Dalsine Affair.

![]() |

Tristan is level 2 during this scenario, and this XP brings him one short of moving up.
I have played Shades of Ice (first two parts) and Before the Dawn, not the Shadow's Last Stand, though.
If you need to do without Tristan, that's fine too.
No day job check for Tristan.

![]() |

Yay! Yes, Xavian is 3rd level. I think I've played all of those you mentioned except Shadow's Last Stand and the 7-11 one, but I don't have a 7-11 character anyway.
Thieves Guild (SoH) Day Job: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (6) + 9 = 15

![]() |

I still need 2 more to get to level 3... I haven't done wither scenario, and would be willing, if you guys are still willing to put up with my posting schedule.
Day Job: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (9) + 9 = 18

![]() |

I was only level one, but will level up with this chronicle.

Derek, did you send chronicles yet? If so I don't see mine yet.

GM Derek W |

No, I need to finish them. I am working late tonight, so I'll probably get to them once I have the office to myself.

GM Derek W |

Ok guys, I did personalized Chronicles again. They are all saved in a Dropbox Folder
Let me know if there are any errors or trouble downloading them. I will leave them up until early next week, but my Dropbox is close to full, so I'll take them down Monday or Tuesday.
