Telurion Andoren |
Gripping the Greatsword, and now more confident it can actually dish out some decent damage, Telurion presses on - "Let us see how you fare against this one, shall we? And by the way, this is your chance to surrender boy!"
Cold Iron Greatsword Attack: 1d20 + 6 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 6 + 1 + 2 = 17Damage: 2d6 + 9 ⇒ (5, 2) + 9 = 16
Bonuses above are flanking, and Bless -> Please remove those that are not applicable. He's not prone anymore right? And I am assuming Ranger human favoured enemy does not apply.
Adebisi |
Duhr, sorry for the mistake, looks like I didn't make attack rolls in the previous combat where I used it either. I feel stupid. I'm happy to treat my earlier fists this combats as misses, or here's some attack rolls if you prefer.
Touch Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19
Touch Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
Touch Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
Adebisi will move to the east of Telurion and cast guidance on him.
GM Derek W |
He is standing, and he's definitely not human.
The warriors all hit except for Telurion. The little red-capped figure is suffering very badly now.
Still, some minor cuts heal, and he fights on.
He strikes at Hawkwren.
Scythe: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (14) + 10 = 24
Damage: 2d4 + 10 ⇒ (1, 2) + 10 = 13
Kick: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19
As his scythe connects, he continues his blow towards Xathaliel.
Cleave: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (14) + 10 = 24
Damage: 2d4 + 10 ⇒ (1, 1) + 10 = 12
Bad guy is down 47 HP right now.
Everyone's up!
Telurion Andoren |
"You're tougher than you look, I'll give you that - but STILL... You best surrender" - Telurion presses on with his taunting, and threats, as he again swings his sword.
Thank you Adebisi ;)
Cold Iron Greatsword Attack: 1d20 + 6 + 1 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 6 + 1 + 2 + 1 = 12Damage: 2d6 + 9 ⇒ (1, 4) + 9 = 14
:/
Xathalial |
Huh, I thought Cleave was a standard, so the kick wouldn't go off since it's not a full-attack. Meh, I'll just shoot him some more as planned; it probably won't matter anyways in the long run.
Third volley of arrows!
Flurry of Blows, DA, PBS: 1d20 + 7 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 7 + 1 = 261d8 + 3 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 3 + 4 + 1 = 111d20 + 7 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 7 + 1 = 161d8 + 3 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 3 + 4 + 1 = 12
Witley "Wit" Stills |
Silent as always, Wit's face stiffens with focus, and he attacks with fury.
Full-Round Action: Flurry of Blows
Attack 1: 1d20 + 7 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 7 + 1 + 2 = 12
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Electric Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 5
Attack 2: 1d20 + 7 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 7 + 1 + 2 = 24
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
Electric Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 6
GM Derek W |
You may be rigth Xath. I think if he chose only to cleave the scythe still would have hit you. The kick was a miss in any event.
Strong blows from Hawkwren and Telurion fail to connect witht the foes. Xath's first arrow strikes him for a very minor wound and Witley's second punch does as well, shocking him a little.
7 more damage dealt for 54 net total so far.
Adebisi is up, then bad guy.
Xathalial |
I just got mine updated. I know it's rough healing when they don't update, so I'm pretty merciless about not healing people that don't post anything about it.
GM Derek W |
Should I track everyone's HP in my combat posts? some other GM's do that, but I'm a little more lazy and rely on you players. But if it would be helpful, I can do that after this fight.
Xathalial |
I'm okay with self-tracking; I know I've never seen a gm that tracks players' health (I certainly wouldn't. I have enough problems keeping track of the 5 npcs in a single fight, do ho ho.) A TL;DR at the end of every enemy post isn't something I'd ever actively ask for, but is soemthing I try to do for the healer-types. E.G. "Player A takes X amount of damage. Player Y takes B amount of damage." It usually helps me figure out if I did a post right or not, too.
Adebisi |
I would hope people are keeping track of the damage they take. I just wanted the status updated so I could easily tell who to poke with the happy stick. Speaking of such things if my guidance is from this round, please ignore.. otherwise.
Adebisi draws his wand of CLW, steps to here he can tap Witley and does so.
Healing: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
GM Derek W |
The little man's injuries lessen and he swings and then kicks at Telurion!
Sorry, had to share the fun!
Attack: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (9) + 10 = 19
Kick: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 15
Once agin on this mission the big man is grateful for his strong armor, as it turns both blows aside!
Pathfinders!
Xathalial |
Mooooooooore arrows!
Flurry of Blows, DA: 1d20 + 7 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 7 + 1 = 131d8 + 3 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 3 + 4 + 1 = 141d20 + 7 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 7 + 1 = 131d8 + 3 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 3 + 4 + 1 = 12
EDIT: Correction: More Arrows (into the area around him)
GM Derek W |
Finally Telurion strikes the decisive blow, as his sword cuts the little creature down, ending his murderous rampage.
Xathalial |
Xathalial gathers what arrows he can (so can give them to the Ten later.) "He was very upset that I did not own a hat, nor did he explain what happened here."
Hawkwren Agricola |
I'm trying to figure out who it makes sense to heal, but people's status's don't look updated.
*raises hand* Guilty. I forgot to update last night and have been gone this morning, sorry about that.
Breathing heavily, Hawk looks down and notices, for the first time, that he is bleeding heavily from a wound. Withdrawing his healing wand, he taps himself a couple time until the skin knots back together.
CLW: 2d8 + 2 ⇒ (6, 4) + 2 = 12
Witley "Wit" Stills |
Wit pulls out a wand from his belt. Reaching it toward Birgit, he speaks up for the first time in a while.
"Would you mind using this for me? I am not able myself."
I have a wand, just can't use it myself. I'll roll here though, as long as Birgit doesn't mind using it on me.
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
Xathalial |
If any of you castys don't mind using my Infernal Healing wand, I'd be appreciative. Any of the arcane casters here can cover it, in case anyone has any moral quandaries.
31/33 hp after 1 min

Xathalial |
It is on the Inner Sea World Guide printing; the older one (Cheliax Setting Companion?) was probably out before the Witch class existed.
INFERNAL HEALING
School conjuration (healing) [evil]; Level cleric 1, magus 1,
sorcerer/wizard 1, summoner 1, witch 1
Casting Time 1 round
Components V, S, M (1 drop of devil blood or 1 dose of
unholy water)
Range touch
Target creature touched
Duration 1 minute
Saving Throw Will negates (harmless); Spell Resistance yes
(harmless)
You anoint a wounded creature with devil’s blood or unholy water, giving it fast healing 1. This ability cannot repair damage caused by silver weapons, good-aligned weapons, or spells or effects with the good descriptor. The target detects as an evil creature for the duration of the spell and can sense the evil of the magic, though this has no long-term effect on the target’s alignment.
GM Derek W |
Just let me know when you guys are done healing, etc. There is a door in the south wall here that you can go through when ready.
Xathalial |
Ready here. If 2 damage kills me, it is hilarious enough to not waste a wand charge on.
Xathalial shows his master of the Taldane language. "Even though this wand was produced by Grandmaster Torch, I believe it still functions properly. If anyone desired a use of it, please help yourself if you can as I cannot."
GM Derek W |
Xathaliel and Hawkwren lead the way, and the party passes through the southern door without trouble.
The walls, floors, and ceiling of this half-moon-shaped room are covered in hundreds of mirrors of all shapes and sizes, some still intact, but most broken. To the north is a beige stone door built into the wall; the southern wall sports two milk-white stone doors of a similar design.
Xathalial |
Xathalial moves towards the beige door, looking for trap-y things along the way (and on the Door.) Perception: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (3) + 10 = 13
GM Derek W |
Xath and Hawk check both doors and find them to be safe. They open the doors and look into the next area.
This lengthy hallway winds around a circular set of chambers accessible via two doors on the south side of the circle. More stone doors line the outer wall of this tunnel, one of which appears to be stuck open and has various chunks of debris littered around it. Illumination seems to come from far away, floating shafts of variously colored light.
Assuming this is correct.
Xath and Hawk then take a step into the this hallway. They immediately realizes that it seems to have subjective directional gravity. The effect is quite disorienting as they realize there is no gravitational “down.”
Knowledge Planes or Wisdom checks from everyone, please.
Xathalial |
Wis: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
GM Derek W |
Hawkwren and Adebisi try different ideas. they discover that they can will themselves to move towards the floor by deciding in their minds that this is "down" and focusing on it.
They explain this to the rest of the group, which can now enter the area and mvoe about normally.
Hawkren sees a big fish-like monster scurry away trailing tentacles behind it. It moves down a hallway to the northwest.
Xathalial |
"But how do arrows work, then, as they do not have minds? Will this strange flying be a hindrance?"
