Birgit will turn her cold stare to the next hobgoblin, with a shudder and icy breath her words of power once again hit the hobgoblin's soul.
slumber hex.

Witley "Wit" Stills |

Wit moves again by his companions into the room across the hall, rolling by the hobgoblin that attacked Telurion before perfectly timing a headbutt into its back.
Move Action: Acrobatics at full speed to roll by the hobgoblin

Unarmed Strike: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (12) + 8 = 20
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Extra electric damage: 1d6 ⇒ 6
Since I'm sure that Acrobatics roll didn't make it, I'll take the attack of opportunity and move to the hobgoblin's right.

GM Derek W |

Xath's arrows make short work of a hobgoblin archer, and it doesn't even have time to yell out before collapsing to the floor.
Wit tries to roll past the swordsman, but maneuvers awkwardly and ends up beside the creature, which swings its sword down towards the bold halfling!
AOO: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22
Damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
The warrior lands a solid blow, opening up a nasty cut along Wit's ribs.
The monk responds with his solid headbutt, which lands cleanly and the hobgoblin gasps as the electrical shock hits him.
The group hears a door open behind Adebisi. He can see another hobgoblin swordsman here, holding his shield but weraing no armor (like the first one). A second door opens, and a third swordsman runs out of the room and crosses the hall. The two swordsmen are in flaning positions opposite each other with the doors to their rooms open. They look ready to strike, but don't make attacks yet.
Adebisi, you get an attack of opportunity against the swordsman that moved past you.

Hawkwren hefts his sword high and moves past his party, down the hall. He tries to dodge post Adebisi and avoid incoming blows as he appears in between the doorways and strikes at the hobgoblin to the north.

The mighty blow splits the hobgoblin's shield in two, and rips open his flesh. He falls to the ground, bleeding profusely.
Adebisi, you are up!

Xath takes aim, but his view is obscured by his allies. His first arrow sails to the back of the hallway, clattering off the stone wall. The deft elf corrects his aim in an instant, and the second shot stirkes the hobgoblin full in the chest, casuing him to nearly stagger backwards. Yet he still stands.
Telurion, you are correct - only one melee warrior on his feet right now, but the one Adebisi knocked down will have a chance to stand up on his turn.

The blow clatters off armor again!
Hawk's next cut with his mighty greatsword tears open a gaping wound from the monster's throat to his stomach. He falls to the ground dead.
The last hobgoblin standing is the archer. He drops his bow and draws his shortsword. He desperately tries to cut a path trough Telurion!

His swing is not well aimed, and Telurion ducks under the slice aimed at his head.

Xathalial looks around, looking for anything not obvious... Perception: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (3) + 10 = 13 ... though is clearly more interested in collecting up arrows so I don't have to keep track of how many I have, do ho ho.

GM Derek W |

The search reveals that each of the six hobgoblins swordsmen had a masterwork longsword, leather armor, a light wooden shield and a signal horn. Each archer (6 total) carried a potion of cure light wounds (all unused), a short sword, a composite longbow, masterwork leather armor and a signal horn. You find plenty or normal arrows to restock your supplies.
Additionally you find a small iron lockbox under the bunks in one of the rooms.
Nirmathi border guard named Tei Enthumi as well as an ornate gold chain attached to an amulet of natural armor +1.
In the interest of time, I am going to reveal the nature of magical items to you as you discover them. Betwen Adebisi and Birgit you should be able to determine their nature anyway.

Hawk examines the box for traps. If he does't find any, then tries to pick the lock.

Akre pokes his head into the barracks. "Yes, through that door to the east."
He gestures in the appropriate direction.
At that moment a loud shpout is heard from out that same door:
"Hey, you in there! Was that horn a false alarm?" You hear a loud creak as the door swings open. In the hallway are three more hobgoblin warriors! One is obviosuly a sergeant or somesuch person of authority. They look as stunned as you may feel, bu ttry to recover quickly.

I am prone to horrible sleepy schedules; I have my flurry copy-pasteable in my profile if needed. I'll double check if it's out of date or not, though I think it's functional.
Xathalial looses some newly-acquried arrows at the Hobgobs and targets whichever one is the fancier one and assumes he's more important! (I don't provoke due to archetype ability, though them being flatfooted makes it probably not matter...?)

Hawkwren moves in and cuts deeply into the hobgoblin's chest.
The warrior is now clearly near death, and pulls himself 5' feet away from his attackers.
EDIT: This should provoke AOO's - thanks Hawkwren!
As he does, Hawkwren and Witley try to strike him!
