So I'll offer to use my "if we don't have kellid as a language" block since I have a higher diplomacy with the addition of the following instead of attempting to pantomime trying to converse:

which then would be followed by the channel energy to show we are healing him as in my previous past.

Grace takes a five foot step towards the beast, her the air around her coalescing in crystals of ice and snow before she reaches out to the flurry of cold, pulling out a whip of ice particles.

The ability is called kinetic whip. I'm making two attacks, one for if it's in range, (15ft) on for AOO when it moves.

Carina looks at the beast with some irritation. "Not now...," she mutters before grabbing her scarf and intoning a spell, calling forth a wall of shimmering, spinning light that makes the beast look distorted, along with the rest of the landscape. "Don't enter that if you value your lunch. Let the beast come to us,"she says as she stands, scarf in hand.

Move action - 'draw' bladed scarf
Standard action - cast Wall of Nausea. Anyone that enters the blue area marked has to make a DC 19 Fort save or be nauseated for a round. In addition, Those that fail the save must make a DC 12 Acrobatics check or fall prone. In addition, the wall provides partial concealment (20%) to those on the other side.

Wow that is a nasty spell. will it work if the creature is INSIDE the wall as it comes up like wall of fire? Between my crazy looking snowstorm whip, the living mountain that is prepared to teach it a new trick, and your wall of "oh hell no" this thing might call it quits before we can even hit it.

Thank you to whomever added the grid to the map. Much appreciated. We'll go with the ranged attack as Zero's readied.

Carina: It's a Large Dire Wolverine. It is a neutral animal.

GM:

Fort: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (19) + 9 = 28
Claw: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (18) + 10 = 28
Damage: 1d8 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14

Grace's whip attack hits the wolverine, and sends it into a rage. Carina casts a spell. Prothero's arrows fly right past the creature's shoulders. Zero holds on until the enemy approaches.

The wolverine moves through the cloud as if it isn't there. He takes the damage from Grace's attack of opportunity, and keeps coming. He moves up to Zero and swipes at him. 14 DMG

If the wolverine is alive on my turn:
Ailean looks at the wolverine's wounds, looks at his party, looks back at the wolverine.

"Forgets about single creature every time when lantern king praying."

Ailean then gives +2 to any type of d20 roll to Prothero of his choice for the round, probably attack rolls (but saves, ability checks, and skill checks are also options).

While not taking his eyes off the action, Abaal comments to Ailean: "It's strange standing here at the back, twenty feet away from a ferocious half-ton wolverine attempting to savage us all. The sense of calm you squishy wizardy types must feel. No offense. It is all rather meditative. The things you see. For instance, I did not know that Prothero had a rat's tail. I thought those had gone out of style in the 4690's."

Oh yeah, that's true, I forgot. What I'd be doing would be more akin to delaying, but it's all good.

Now exactly where he wants to be (if a bit less mauled), Zero starts throwing punches left and right.

Normally I'd help in combat with spells but I don't have much useful in this combat

Grace steps up around the boulder, energy gathering around her as the snow and ice form a blade in her hand which she brings down upon the IRATE creature "Just go DOWN already! We don't need another problem right now!" she yells as the blade connects with the creature.

5 foot step, gather energy move action. 1 energy gathered. kinetic blade(cold), entangling fusion(2 burn, 1 mitigated via infusion specialization 1, one via gather energy.)

Attack:

Attack VS Touch: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27
Damage: 3d6 + 2 ⇒ (6, 1, 5) + 2 = 14

Should the attack connect, the Wolverine must make reflex save DC 17 or be entangled for one minute. The Wolverine can remove this condition as a standard action with a successful Escape Artist or Strength check (dc also 17) or by dealing an amount of damage to the entangling matter equal to double your kineticist level (12 hp, the matter has hardness 0).

Should the reflex fail:
Ice latches onto the wolverines fur like a living animals attacking prey, entangling it in it's cold uncaring clutch.

Ailean gives a blessing to Prothero. Abaal confident in his new colleagues skills stands watches the horizon on the opposite side of the battle for a giant snow bunny attack. Which does not appear.

Grace attacks with her Kinetic Blade. It hits injuring the Wolverine. Zero hits at the creature, but the foul breath distracts him enough that he doesn't connect.

Prothero fires into the fray, and takes down the creature. All three arrows dig into it and the creature falls.

Combat Over. Saving Carina a spell.

The Kellid looks impressed with you, and rises to his feet.

"Olet rohkea soturi. Seuraa kappaleita löytääksesi mitä etsit. Menen itään."

Halit:
"You are brave warriors. Follow the tracks to find what you seek. I'm going east."

If allowed, he leaves you to head in the opposite direction you are heading.

If you look at the Shadow Lodge Dead:
The dead Shadow Lodge agents still have gold on them, but no weapons.

Zero fishes a curative wand from his backpack and hands it to Ailean to use on him. "That was not my best work," he writes, as if in apology but more matter-of-fact. "I'm sure there will be more opportunities on this mission to display my true prowess."

I can assure you he is not, but if it bothers you or you don't understand him, let me know. It is his first PbP game as well as mine so I'm still getting my bearings. However, it is quite a deal more fun to RP him here than in irl where you don't get the time, at least in my region.

So, my post seems to have gotten destroyed by the site maintenance. I was just saying that Ailean is indeed a little insane, but if it bothers you or you don't understand what he was saying, let me know. This is Ailean's first PbP as well as mine so we are still getting our bearings. In any event, it has been a lot more fun to RP him here where there is more time to RP than in my IRL PFS group, so thanks for that guys.

It doesn't bother me at all! Gráinne, however has never dealt with someone who wasn't entirely there. In her childhood she was raised as an heir to a rich family and had her whole life planned and dictated. She decided to take what she learned and instead became and "Independant Entrepreneur of the open seas."

The whole reason she joined the pathfinders was to explore the world (And as a jab at her father who disliked the group of "Hooligans and mongrel-thieves" as he put it) and find/establish new trade routes for her future business endeavors.

I actually am having fun reading your character's posts and have been giving him a sort of "Smeagle-ly" voice in my head~

Grace reaches into her bag and pulls out a days worth of jerky and hands it to the Kellid, as a gesture of good faith and good travels. "Well, I suggest we hurry then. If they have a head start, I mean to get rid of it."

As I've said, I'm loving Ailean as a character, and I agree he fits very well with the PbP format. I've got at least one character who I thought would be tons of fun to play at a table and works much better in PbP. I also think it's appropriate that one of Ailean's posts was just a bunch of random characters.

With a quick tie of her scarf, followed by pulling her cloak around her, she looks to the others. "Yes, let's be off," she adds, while nodding in agreement to Grace's charity.

I will admit to having a bit of trouble understanding what Ailean says(Which I'm sure is the point), but he is very entertaining.

Ailean trudges along with the rest of the group, occasionally stooping down to lick the tracks in the snow.

"No sun snow, good, yes? Never liked the sun snow...Will remember the single test when lantern praying. Give people my mind is normal spell, not good when only single test, hit stone creature friends even with my mind."

Translation: Yellow snow is bad. Ailean will prepare 1 or 2 spells the next time he has a chance to pray that will help in single enemy encounters. His normal go-to spell is confusion type magic, which would have just locked the wolverine on the next person that hit it.

Roughly an hour after you set out on their route again,

Near dusk, your route takes you through a rocky field, adorned with an ancient ring of druidic stones, around which lie heaps of driven snow.

The gradual shift into rockier terrain is now more apparent than ever. Large, round stones evoke cobblestones as they form a layer of ground, although the hard-packed snow is still visible between. Ahead, an ancient ring of boulders juts from the ground to form a ring. The wind’s erratic path around the massive rocks has blown the snow into large, haphazard drifts.

@GM_CariMac sorry for the confusion, this character is not my life Oracle with -16, he is only -2 so his initiative step should be 6 here, just above zero and those set of warriors. Either way I'll take my first actions:

Ailean notices the enemies in the mounds of snow and says "Look see funny snowmen hidden in the powder piles!"

He then moves 25ft towards the bottom one and begins casting a spell targeting the red one (I'm colorblind btw in case I say the wrong color); if the red one gets damaged before my turn Ailean will go for the yellow one further into the mounds and move further up (where the further picture of my character is). "Shimmy shimmy shake, picture of me!"

The spell is Extended Persistent Confusion (lesser). The target has to pass a DC 21 will save twice or be confused for 2 rounds (that means don't hit this red guy or he'll get locked attacking you). Also if an enemy attacks me I'll use my immediate action sanctuary ability (DC 17 will).

Sigh the boards ate my post. I rolled a miss on the barbarian so I'm going with that.

Ailean's spell causes the southern enemy to become confused, and Grace's diplomacy attempt fails. Prothero does non lethal damage to the closest enemy the barbarian.

The Barbarian begins to rage, and moves up to Grace. He swings at her with his battleaxe and misses.

Abaal is prepared for the attack, and swings his falchion at the enemy. He connects but the man does not drop. Zero’s first attack misses, but his second connects. That is enough to drop the man into the snow.

Apparently, the long day walking finally caught up with Carina, because she didn't register the threat until Grace started yelling diplomacy for her to translate. After a startled couple seconds, the Harrower shook her head awake, and faithfully repeats the gesture of goodwill in Hallit. While she was calling out the overture, she quickly drew her scarf up and prepares to defend herself.

If more then 1 enemy enters melee with Zero:
With a quick chart, Carina creates a blast of light and sparkles to encompass the warriors fighting Zero.

Begins together the snow and ice around her as she concentrates on the spot beneath the warrior next to Prothero. In a Flash, the spot beneath the warrior becomes slick ice.

Gather energy 1. Using "Slick" ability on warrior. he must make a dc 15 reflex or fall as per the grease spell.
