Sara, seeing the sunrod light up the room, drops her knife and torch and draws her spear instead. She sidesteps the construct, then brings down her spear with all her might.
Anya tosses a blob of acid through the door, sizzling the creature, while Luralee takes up a defensive position to shield the others. Sara continues to do the heavy lifting in this battle, Striking the creature soundly, though her attack does not do the damage she had hoped.
Turning its attention from Luralee to the one hurting it, the construct lifts a heavy metal arm and brings it down hard on top of Sara's head. The fighter reels as she sees stars. 13 dmg from crit

Luralee, since this is all difficult terrain I don't think you can take a 5' step--moving back, you'd take an AoO. OTOH, that hit should come close to dropping it. I hope.
Ooops, I hadn't noticed that blow dropped Sara. Yeah, she is just dropped where she was last round.
Ilarien delays her actions while Devorin heals Luralee. Luralee, with renewed vigor, responds by dealing the creature a massive blow, though again her weapon does not damage it quite as much as she had hoped.
Correctly sensing that Luralee is a big threat, it steps toward her and slams into her with an armored fist. It continues to zap and crackle and seems close to being destroyed.

Davorin and Luralee combine their efforts to destroy the creature. But whatever was zapping and crackling inside discharges in an explosion as it goes down!
Arcs of electricity branch out toward the three closest Pathfinders.

Gneau dodges nimbly out of the way of the arcs of power, avoiding the damage from them... "Wow, that was close! I don't know what that thing was.. but I don't want to meet another one!"
"Good then we can use it on ourselves without spending our stuff" Luralee grunts out and then taps the more injured Sara first before tapping herself with it...
Gneau picks up the small falchion and swings it a few times clumsily... "Not my style of weapon, but it might come in handy... and just the right size!" He tucks it in his belt.

"Let's just keep moving in this direction. There's a door right there." Ilarien reloads her crossbow and trudges through the room to near the door. "After you, Lee!"
Sara groans as she awakens, rubbing her head where the automaton hit her. She looks around at the party, noting the wands in both Luralee's and Davorin's hands.
Maybe this half-orc is different after all...
"Thank you...both of you"
While Gneau tests out his new weapon, Sara collects hers where she dropped them and lights another torch, then moves to follow Ilarien
Luralee moves past the others to the front once more with her shield in front of her. She checks out the door for any visible traps...

and then tests to see if it is locked...
Luralee tests the door, and not finding it locked or trapped, opens it.
This curving hall has been badly damaged, but there are intact doors to the north, east, and south, as well as a large doubledoor leading west to the core of the tower. The southeast corner of the room has collapsed in a mound of green glass rubble, but a tunnel runs through the debris, shored up with rough timbers.
A plush, human-sized bed stands in this chamber, along with a table holding a bone scroll tube and jars filled with eyeballs, claws, and teeth. Various automaton parts lie scattered around.
The scroll tube on the table contains a sheet of parchment on which is drawn a complicated magical sigil in iridescent green ink.
DC 15 Linguistics:
You recognize the sigil as an identifying mark similar to an arcane mark. The sigil is labeled “Six” in Azlanti.
Anya glances at the damphir. "Well, I think it might be part of a series. The sigil is the number 'six' in Azlanti, so it would stand to reason that there are a 'one'-through-'five'."

"Door to the north. That tunnel looks like a bad place to fight in, so I want to make sure of our backtrail before we go in." Ilarien stops as she realizes she just agreed with the half-orc. Still a good idea, no matter who else has it.
