Marnarius - Lab_Rat |

Reflex save vs fire snake: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (13) + 9 = 22 perfect!
Marnarius is able to dip to his right, getting singed, but avoiding being entwined in fire.
Can I reach Zey with my longsword if I am standing on the ground?
Attack - +2 Weapon, Power attack, Studies Target, Slowed: 1d20 + 14 - 2 + 4 - 1 ⇒ (9) + 14 - 2 + 4 - 1 = 24
Damage - +2 Vicious Longsword, 2-Handed, Power Attack, Studied Target: 1d8 + 9 + 6 + 4 + 2d6 ⇒ (1) + 9 + 6 + 4 + (6, 5) = 31
Vicious inflicted damage: 1d6 ⇒ 4
If Zey takes damage he must save vs poison. Fort DC 20.
Deathblade Poison (Ex) Save Fortitude DC 20, Frequency 1/round for
6 rounds, Effect 1d3 Con damage; Cure 2 consecutive saves
Attack - Precise Shot, Studies Target, Slowed: 1d20 + 10 + 4 - 1 ⇒ (12) + 10 + 4 - 1 = 25
Damage - Adamantine, Point Blank Shot, Studied Target: 1d8 + 5 + 1 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 5 + 1 + 4 = 14

DM Kludde |

Sorry about not responding to that question. Zey auto-succeeds on concentration checks for first level spells, so no AoO
Gazwyr bites down hard on the wizard, and feels the stony outer shell give way for the sweet taste of blood. Zurnzal moves up to the ground below the wizard (Zurnzal is not flying, is he?)
Miss: 1d100 ⇒ 14
Marnarius closes his eyes and takes aim for the wizard, but only barely manages to avoid Gazwyr.

322 is weakened greatly by the snaking flame. She pulls out a scroll, and uses it to cast heal on herself.

Shohiraj moves up under the cloak of invisibility, while 322 takes a moment to recover from the blast.

Joliryn, the Artist - pregen |

I was hoping Zey was dragged toward the floor, but he's not :(
If I may still take it, here's an action for last turn:
To eliminate as many of Zey's illusionary doubles as possible, Joliryn sends a magic missile at four of them.
Magic Missile: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Magic Missile: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Magic Missile: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Magic Missile: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
This turn:
Joliryn continues to eliminate Zey's doubles with her magic missiles, and will send all the missiles that remain at Zey himself.
Magic Missile: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Magic Missile: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Magic Missile: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Magic Missile: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

DM Kludde |

Sure you can. Magic missile doesn't do anything against illusory doubles, though (since they don't require an attack roll, by RAW).
Joliryn slams one missile after the other into the nearly defenceless wizard, each single one unerringly finding the true Zey.
As the penultimate missile strikes home, Zey crashes to the floor, bleeding rapidly and covering the floor in blood.
Combat over

Well done. A prominent Pathfinder slain in a riot. Allow me to secure the area and search his possessions for traps.
The invisible rogue continues searching for a traps in the library.
Trapspotter, t10: 10 + 17 = 27
Dang! Zay didn't have Shield spell up after having time to prep? Silly wizard.

Marnarius - Lab_Rat |

"About time. One more nasty spell and we would have had issues."
My next few rounds unless something changes.
Marnarius then draws and chugs a potion of cure moderate wounds.
CMW: 2d8 + 3 ⇒ (7, 8) + 3 = 18
Feeling slightly better he draws the second and chugs that as well.
CMW: 2d8 + 3 ⇒ (3, 4) + 3 = 10
Marnarius looks around the room. "Let's grab what needs grabbin and get out while we can."
Perception: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (5) + 11 = 16

DM Kludde |

322 stabs the wizard, and like an extinguished candle a wisp of smoke emerges from him. The smoke whirls in the air, until it seems to reverse direction, and heads for the lantern in a time-reserval, converges and finally lights up the lantern from within.
In the middle of the room, the sky key is still buzzing in its cage of glass, surrounded by a white circle on the floor, and its outside perimeter marked by a velvet rope.
Shohiraj doesn't find any traps

Experimental Pregen |

322 takes a moment to search Zey's possessions.
Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
She'll use detect magic to attempt to identify anything that might be useful.
Spellcraft(+racial): 1d20 + 7 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 7 + 2 = 12
Spellcraft(+racial): 1d20 + 7 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 7 + 2 = 15
Spellcraft(+racial): 1d20 + 7 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 7 + 2 = 21
Spellcraft(+racial): 1d20 + 7 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 7 + 2 = 16
With that done, she hurries over to Zey's desk to perhaps determine if there is any useful information on securing the Sky Key.
Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11
"To the void with Rataji. Collecting the Sky Key was his job, and he abandoned us."
And the probability of only 1 of 6 rolls being above 10 is less than 10% ... except when I roll on the Paizo forums, and then it seems to typical.

Cartmanbeck's High-level pregen |

Zurnzal harrumphs at his utter uselessness during the combat, the slowing spell finally wearing off of him. He looks at the magical items that Zey possessed, and shrugs. "They look useful, but I've no clue what they do. Let's get the damn key, if we can. Might as well finish the mission, even if it's not our part."
He'll walk over to the sky key, push aside the velvet rope, and grab the glass enclosure.
Let's hope this doesn't end TOO badly for Zurnzal LOL

Joliryn, the Artist - pregen |

Once the slow effect is finally gone, Joliryn pulls out her potion of cure serious wounds and drinks it.
CSW: 3d8 + 5 ⇒ (7, 6, 6) + 5 = 24
"I should've brought more healing items. I had only this."
Joliryn watches Zurnzal from a safe distance as he tries to retrieve the Sky Key.

DM Kludde |

Zurnzal swipes the rope aside, and enter the white circle. The ward is represented is broken immediately, causing the centre of the room to become a swirling votes of time. Smashing the glass, he grabs the sky key, moving fast, then slow, then fast again as time distorts around him.
For the windows of the tower, the chaos below can be observed, and is a beautiful thing to behold - animals on the loose, statues rampaging and pathfinder screaming and running for their lives.
As the agents emerges from the tower, they are greeted by a second group Well done team, it is now five finger till oath day!
The end!
For your secondary success condition, can you tell me a mission objective for each of your team members?

Zurnzal gets a boon! (I'll pm you your options. Can you pm me your email address for reporting?)

DM Kludde |

Can you all please fill out the table on slide 4 of the handout if you haven't already done so? I'll report the game as soon as I have all info. Please note the PFS# that you want to apply the chronicle to

Experimental Pregen |

That was a very fun scenario! I'll admit to being a bit worried after hearing how several tables TPK-ed at a convention.
Well done, Kludde, thanks!

Joliryn, the Artist - pregen |

The Ambitious:
Wanted to find a traitor, or create one.
The Dragon:
I don't think this one counts, but he wanted to kill Aram Zey.
The Leader:
Wanted to obtain the Sky Key.
The Vengeful:
Freed the creatures in the zoo, and retrieved his stolen weapon from the vault.
1d2 ⇒ 2
The Experiment:
No clue.
The Professional:
Brought several statues on the Society grounds to life.
Awesome game! Loved to play the Aspis for once.
Never expected my magic missiles would take out Aram Zey during the last combat!

Joliryn, the Artist - pregen |

322, I'm not sure if I'm entirely correct, but thanks! ;)

DM Kludde |

Everyone should have a chronicle with a boon referencing their pregen. It's possible that I gave you the wrong one (sleep and all), so if I did, tell me.

Marnarius - Lab_Rat |

Nice. Love the item choices.
You may want to check where you got the pathfinder #s from. Mine has a number that is probably from a different table of yours.
Thanks again Kludde. It was a lot of fun and I leveled my witch to 7.

Experimental Pregen |

Does the covered up section reference the additional boon we could receive in the future? If so, wouldn't it need to be uncovered?
EDIT: I saw a full sheet, so the covered portion doesn't mention the potential new boon. How do we know what it is? (Or will it be explicit on chronicles in future scenarios?)

DM Kludde |

I've fixed the chronicle, and I flagged the reporting to be updated.
@322: I know a much a you do. The chronicle doesn't go into specifics regarding the boon, so I suppose a future quest involving 322 (or whoever) will have the specifics on it.

Marnarius - Lab_Rat |

I am guessing that this season will have at least one scenario with each of these characters. The question I have is whether or not paizo will give us hints as to which scenarios have which aspis agent.
