Eager to have something to do, Theld sprints toward the combat.

As he moves forward, Farlen pulls his light mace out. He stops just behind Theld. "Protection." Farlen mutters while making strange movements with his hands and pulling something from his components bag. He casts mage armor to make himself less peck-able "Anyone want roast dia-whats-you-call-um for dinner tonight?"

The two birds attack the rest of the group, not seeing Mannak as a threat any longer. Travil also gets a nasty bite.

This one's constant struggle to destroy must bring a smile to Rovagug's lips. With an eerie chuckle, Theld merely states, "Funny." Adding nothing other than a slow, knowing nod of his head, the cleric casts a spell before reaching down and touching Mannak's chest.

And with a flurry of blows and magic the second overgrown bird goes down with a sudden sqwark!
Mannak lies gravely injured at your feet, but the threat seems dealt with.. for now.
Searching around you find the birds nest with a couple of large eggs in it. They are almost certainly valuable, as Ny'a has heard the terrible birds can be trained as mounts or guards.
The team then talk Lander back to Silverhall. Dame Sarrona Lebeda is overwhelmed with gratitude. And Lander admits that perhaps he got in over his head. "Tis the job of nobles to know when a good professional is required. And I'd not tile a roof myself, so really, why chase down bandits myself either." His mother looks relieved.

"Ms. Lebeda... if I may have a moment of your time." Ny'a walks the noblewoman off to the side where she can get some privacy with the woman.
"I represent a small group with the Pathfinder Society," she begins. "We are called the Sovereign Court, and we seek to influence global change from within the halls of power, but not necessarily from its seat."
She looks at the woman with an appraising and respectful eye. "I think that you may be able to assist us. If I put you in contact with one of our agents--discreetly, of course--would you be willing to help?"

Eager to leave the world of nobles, Travail bids good bye to his fellow Pathfinders, making his way to the nearest gambling hall.
Good game, everyone!
@Aerondor -- I'm new to PFS and PbP. Curious why we received 1 PP for this adventure. Is that a Core thing? The game I just finished with my standard character gave me two.

![]() |

@Travail,
Finishing a scenario gives you 1xp and gold.
There are primary success conditions which give a PP
There are also secondary success conditions which give a second PP if you get the primary.
These vary from scenario to scenario. I have only once ever failed a primary success condition on any of my characters (near TPK disaster). Three or four times I've missed out on the secondary success. Often they are harder to obtain, and sometimes seem a little odd.
In this case the primary success condition was to get Lander back alive (hurrah)
To get a secondary success you needed to accomplish three extra things
1: have Lander at least indifferent to you (made, just)
2: gather evidence against the bandits leader (failed, see below)
3: present the evidence to Sarrona (irrelevant given failure of 2)
For the gathering of sufficient evidence you had to get three of the following
1: Identify a clue in the bandits weapons (failed perception checks)
2: Interrogate the first bandit leader (not just the mooks) - who unfortunately was hit by charging lance while on low hp
3: pick up the letter from the werewolf's tent (done)
4: convince lander to speak out about his suspicious (irrelevant given the failures at 1&2).
