Sorry for the lack of posting; Paizo's site crashing this morning and work business/packing have kept me busy! On that note, I'll be on a trip from Wednesday to Tuesday, so posting will be sporadic. I'll do what I can and at least get one more good post later today.

Yeah, I've been having a lot of issues with Paizo site over the last few days. I'm pretty sure some of you want characters freed up for the 5th of November for the Special, so wanted to hit the accelerator a we bit.
Audyn hits with his rapier, but again, the weapon doesn't seem to do as much damage as he would expect. Parker also hits with his acid, but the creatures body seems exceptionally resistant to it.
Status, bold may post - Inspire courage is up.
Myrd
Iron Feathers 1
Mylitta -
Velinov - 1 damage; 1NL;
My guys!
Red (14 damage) disarmed,
Parker - 1 damage;

Myrd moves north again and casts grease underneath the little annoying bugger. DC 15
Velinov
|
Agreed, site maintenance was ill-timed.
Velinov will attempt to blinding ray the remaining outside.
Blinding Ray (Ranged Touch): 1d20 + 1 - 4 ⇒ (3) + 1 - 4 = 0
+1 BAB, -4 for firing into melee, +? prone from grease?
GM Aerondor

The small creature tries to keep its balance, and using its tail to good effect, manages to do exactly that.
reflex dc 15: 1d20 ⇒ 18
Velinov fires off another ray, but again the creature avoids it.
And I'll NPc the others again
Mylitta draws her bow, and while it doesn't look like she can hurt it, she figures she may be able to distract it.
aid-another: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
And yes, I know that normally that only works for melee, but it is not explicitly forbidden for missile characters
Iron feathers charges up, and strikes past Audyn with his long horsechopper.
attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12
He can't quite seem to land the blow though.
The little red demon-thing advances again on Audyn, trying to stab him with its tail.
attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12
But misses.
acrobatics: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (10) + 8 = 18 <- to avoid slipping in the grease.
--skipping to next round.
Mylitta again tries to distract the imp
aid another: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 1 = 13
And Iron Feathers steps back and delivers another big chop with his horsecopper.
attack: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (11) + 10 = 21
damage: 1d10 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10
Knocking it to the ground where is starts to slowly dissipate.
Combat over!
Status,
Parker - 1 damage;
Audyn - also gets an extra AOO as the creature moves into his space.
Myrd
Velinov - 1 damage; 1NL;
Iron Feathers 1 ; berserk
Mylitta -

You lot are quiet
Exploring further within you come upon another shrine (C5)
A large statue of a monkey-faced man sits on a pedestal at the north end of this small shrine. The statue’s arms and legs are missing, and deep scratches have been gouged into its face. Pieces of broken stone, rotting plant matter, and other assorted rubbish lie in heaps on the floor of this room. The smell of rot is particularly strong here.
George Chadwick Parker
|
"Well, ain't that just a rosie smell!", mutters Parker, walking slowly towards the shrine. "Any o' ya know who that guy or god is? I ain't really all 'bout that religion.", he says, stopping after a while. "Maybe got somethin' to do with them monkeys that helped us earlier? In which case, I am damn thankful. Think we should fix the shrine?" The stream of questions keeps flowing.
Audyn Bancroft
|
Shrugging, Audyn puts his rapier back in its scabbard and smooths out the wrinkles in his clothing. "I'm discovering more and more that this is work for which I'm not well-suited."
GM Aerondor

I'm feeling generous...
Parker checks the room for what is making the smell.. He guesses it was something excreted by those horrible demon creatures (Asura actually). Idly checking the room for magic, he notes the statue is wearing a magical belt.
Audyn looks closely at the statue and notes a small cabinet in the base, within that is a richly illuminated copy of the Vigrahin Patiraka (a holy text), and a journal belonging to a priest who accompanied Khiben-Sald on his travels around the Inner Sea.
(and I'm guessing you take them)
You join back up with the baron and make your way back through the swamp without picking up any nasty diseases. The rest of the hunting expedition passes without major event.
The baron is grateful for your assistance, as his his son-in-law.
Even Ragdya, the monkey god is pleased with you. Who knows how that will work out in days to come.
You eventually get back to Absalom without difficulty. Ambrus is excited to inspect the book, and almost ecstatic when you pull out the journal.
And you are now free to jump into the GD2 session 2

Yes, thanks for running Aerondor!
GM Aerondor
|
Sorry about the rush at the end there, but I know at least one of you was wanting to get into the session 2, and I felt with the nature of that last combat NPCing idle characters, or folk worse affected by site downtime was going to be the only way to do it.
Myrd Sharpclaw
|
No problem with the rush, that end combat was not the best of the scenario with this group.
George Chadwick Parker

Go Charisma Party! Hopefully next time it'd be something more social. Sorry for slacking at the end, university was stressful and the website issues didn't help. See you all around!

Thanks GM; where is the session 2 link good dragon?

Session two link?
I was considering running Murder on the Silken Caravan, but suspect many of you many have already done that.
Myrd Sharpclaw

And neither have I! Team charisma for the sequel!

Lets see about Iron Feathers, Velinov I think has other commitments although he would be more than welcome (or an alternative character)
Iron Feathers
|
I haven't either.
