[PFS_Aerondor] 06-08 The Segang Expedition [Tier 1-5] PbP Gameday 4 (Inactive)

Rumors of a lost shrine in the Segang Jungle draw the Pathfinder Society’s attention, but the prohibitive cost of sending a team into the wilds of Jalmeray threatens to shut down the expedition before it even begins. Fortunately, a wealthy patron has offered to fund the PCs travel expenses in return for their help in his decades-old quest. Can the Pathfinders balance this new obligation with their exploration of the archaeological site?

Content in “The Segang Expedition” also contributes directly to the ongoing storyline of the Sovereign Court faction.

I have a level 2 illusionist or I'd be happy to make an Occult character...

I'd prefer to go with the illusionist but end of the day if you want a new occult character that is okay. I've not played with them so you'll have to talk me thought anything interesting they can do.

Actually, I think you ran 06-01 Trial by Machine for this character :) I'm ok with sticking with him though. I tend to use the illusions for crowd control, so that should help a lower level party.

Another "Trial by machine"r returns! To be fair, I ran three tables of that simultaneously last year. Ouch.

Mind if I apply with my Conjuration Sorcerer? I realize it's a HEAVY arcane party at his point, but I reckon he might be a decent addition.

That is fine. Especially at low levels, PFS scenarios are pretty forgiving about party composition.

Not that I have this scenario yet to confirm that. I have played it though :-)

@George, something is slightly off with your character. You show four trained skills. I'm guessing that is 2 from sorcerer, 1 from human and 1 from int. But you also have Silver tongued, which trades out the skilled human trait. I'm assuming you are not using your favoured class bonus point in skills as you show with 9hp. I may well have missed something here.

No, it's me, I just noticed it myself. It wasn't changed from the old version of Parker which had 14 Int. I'll remove the Kn(Arcana).

If you have not yet put a post into the discussion thread with your character details, please do so once they are finalised (holding off if you will be using GM credit or finishing another scenario).

I have also opened the gameplay thread so you can put a post in there for ease of finding it once September 19th springs around.

I only have three of you in the discussion thead so far. As you start finishing games can you please put your details in there? A week out from the start I'll start opening up slots that I have yet to see character details for.
