Leaving the "information gathering" to his more charismatic compatriats, Quinn picks up his longspear and joins Lara, focusing his attention on the sailors of No Return, for that is where Pardu said Lady Anilah has been taken. He tries to see where the slaves, and likely Lady Anilah, might have been taken, and also to suss out the mood of the crew.

They work for Pildapush and prowl the Coins carrying out his wishes. The Puddlejumpers are former halfling slaves that the slaver himself bought and freed - in return for doing his dirty work.

"Doing as you're told is hardly freedom. Hopefully you'll learn this soon." Talia narrows her eyes at the halfling's request. "You and your friends made your choice, and I can't have you alerting the ship's guards. We'll be back for you once the ship is ours." She socks the halfling in the face, then turns from the unconcious body and looks over the ship. "We'll have a hard time of it getting onboard now. I'll try sneaking up, I doubt they'll let us over the gangplank." The ninja ducks behind a barrel in the alley and pulls out a grappling hook.

Stealth: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (8) + 9 = 17
Grappling Hook: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21
It'll take me three rounds to get in position.
First round, duck behind the barrel in the alley and stealth behind cover.
Second round, move 15' to the next barrel.
Third round, move 10' to the last barrel and toss a grappling hook.

Knotted rope with a wall to brace, Climb DC 0. Maybe +5 for a slippery surface.
Idea is to climb up the side of the ship and toss a shuriken at the guard. Since there's no cover to hide on the gangplanks, and I think we'd get shot walking up to them in the open. How high up is the side of the ship?

I'll hear any other ideas. Sneaking around with a grappling hook is just so fitting for a ninja :)

The ship is almost level with the docks. There are two or three sailors on deck or the rigging at any given time.

People are starting to return to the docks, it would seem that brief brawls are not unheard of. While they will also provide some cover, they might also raise the alarm if they observed something untoward.

I'll net them off as +0

The sailors don't really pay much attention to Talia as she vanishes into the alley...

Seeing what Talia is attempting to do, Quinn decides to distract the sailors as much as he can. He whirls his longspear in a nonchalant manner to draw the sailors' attention as he paces with great deliberation towards the centre gangplank, eyeing the sailors onboard the whole time. He then calls out to them.

"Here, you! Pildapush sent us this way. Seems like you are holding someone who should not be here. You've seen what we can do. Call forth your captain. We want a word with him, if you know what's good for you!"

Ships tend to have various odd items, ropes, crates etc stored on them. So I'll assume there are bits of cover there.

Talia climbs across the gap onto the ship, and rolls behind a pile of rope. From her hidden spot she flicks a shuriken at one of the watdhing sailors, then tucks back behind her cover, hopefully before anyone notices.

Sneak attack, then Stealth at -20 to snipe. Hey, I might just stay hidden with that roll! Here's hoping they botch like fools!

A shuriken flies out and takes a sailor in the chest. But this is no halfling and he remains standing.

Couple of questions. My first time playing an enlarged character with reach weapon (longspear), so to be sure, Quinn's reach is now 15 ft? (His stat block has been adjusted.) Also, the pink creature is not in combat yet?

Quinn moves up beside Lara and attempts to stab at the sailor. However, unused to his enlarged size, his balance is off.

Enlarged with reach is good (yes 15')- but you have a large ring around you that you have no reach into as well, so take care of people close up!.

Thanks for the reminder! Did a bit more reading, and reach weapons doubles natural reach, so Quinn can attack even up to 20 ft away? So from his current position, would he be able to reach the sailor?
