Basically you have a choice here. You can give the papers to Karela, who is making the argument that he can deal with this situation much faster than the Pathfinder Society, or you can bring them back to the lodge who can use this information to help clear the Pathfinders' name in town.
It's mostly a roleplaying decision but will very minorly affect your chronicle too.

so it points to people who tried to kill him? so it looks like he wants revenge vs reporting it to the society....not sure how zuri would react to this and since i have no clue about the boon...not sure. just hope it doesnt alter the extra pa. guessing the right thing to do is report it to the society. assuming the extra pa isnt actually supports being a good pathfinder and not another kill now/dont kill now/now do the opposite thing like in that mod

Skredli's eyes darken a bit at the mention of not taking the
papers back to the lodge.
Mistress Zarta told me I am to clear the Society's name here.
I'm not planning on disobeying her.
I also told the nice cleric lady I would help her. She made
me cookies.
The large, green man seems inflexible on this point. He also munches on a cookie, which seems to lighten his mood some.

Karela looks visibly frustrated. "Fine... so be it. Probably the most diplomatic thing to do anyway for the Society. Regardless of that decision, I thank each and everyone one of you for your service in tracking down this menace in town."
[Conclusion]
You head back with Karela to the Ashfall Lodge and hand over the papers to Oraiah and Reginar. They are ecstatic by the information you provided.
With the Aspis out of commission in Tamran, Karela’s shipments once again flow into the city freely, providing the lodge and the people of Tamran with much needed supplies.
Venture-Captain Oraiah Tolal uses the evidence to exonerate the Pathfinder Society and expose Captain Vaylorne’s treachery. She places the blame squarely on the shoulders of the Aspis Consortium and the church of Razmir. The Pathfinder Society’s name is cleared, and the people of Tamran grudgingly admit that Molthune is not to blame for the plot.
The end.
That conclusion earned you the "Trusted in Tamran" boon, and a certain mark on the reporting sheet. The other boon is if you hand them over to Karela. Only Skredli got the Zurnzal's Foe boon because it requires the Zurnzal's boon from Serpents' Rise.
