Morning all, a few details before we get started. I will go ahead and post the introduction this morning but we won't actually fire everything up until we make sure everyone is checked in and participating, just in case we had some applicants that don't end up joining the game.
- If a spoiler doesn't mention your faction, name, or current action it is considered bad form to read it. This is more of an honor system thing. This is really for those who are new to PFS PbP
- Combat movement will be completed on the Roll20.net maps. The site is free to register on, so make sure you have done so. Log in and get acquainted with your token. Sorry if they don't all look like your character, I did what I could with the limited tokens available. If the group or players continue on to the next scenario I can consider making custom tokens for you.
- You will each have a faction mission. Remember, you can't ask for help from other characters that are not of your faction, but you can influence them to act a certain way to help with your faction mission using roleplay and guile.
- Please add a mini stat block to your character profile on the line that says "class/level", below is an example. I need these values to help run things a bit smoother without flipping between a lot of profiles.

- As you introduce yourself on the discussion page, please go ahead and post your Pathfinder Society number as well as your character number, such as "49920-1". Also let me know your faction. I will use this information to turn in your sheet at the end of the scenario.
Having some problems with the gameplay thread. All of my posts are showing blank. I've contacted Paizo support but if I don't get anything by midday I will create a new thread for the game and give you all the link.

Peace and prosperity everyone! This is my second PbP adventure on these boards and the first PFS game ever so please go easy. :)
A little bit about me: I'm a student currently on summer break so can post quite often. Once school starts up I can do 1X/day barring exam days. I played the d20 system since DnD 3.5 so have some experience.
Question: Are we suppose to read each other's backgrounds or is that left for game play?

Its typically considered good form to leave that to in game discovery, but there is nothing that says you can't read them. Just make sure you don't act upon out of character knowledge if you do.

Unfortunately at this point Jeffery the Pious hasn't responded in post form since Friday, so I am going to assume he is a no show and cut him from the list.
As you all are about to set off on the actual scenario we have a brief window to introduce someone else to the group before heading out. If anyone has a PbP friend that would want a spot, let me know. Otherwise we will continue to move along. As you are still a group of five, it shouldn't be too much of an issue.
Just to give everyone a heads up, I'm going to be at the lake tomorrow and Sunday. I will still manage a few posts, but it will obviously be a little slower than my normal pace.

I also wanted to add that I'm getting close to finishing up the Roll20 conversion of Reign of Winter, a Pathfinder Adventure Path. This would not be a PFS based module and character generation would be a bit more relaxed, but I would be issuing out the 6 PFS credit sheets that go along with the adventure path. You could apply those to any of your PFS characters. Alternately we could agree to run it completely as a PFS adventure. It would depend on the group's decision.
I'm going to be running this as a live game on Roll20 using teamspeak or the like for voice, but I'm not sure if the night yet. It would likely be either Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday nights, from probably 6-7pm till 10pm EST. I was considering running it as a PbP but honestly, Adventure Paths are HUGE. It would take over a year to PbP it and I'm sure we'd have attrition to the group's size over that amount of time.
If you are curious about it you can download the player's guide to the adventure path from Paizo for free. It gives you some ideas about what it contains, character suggestions, etc.
I'm going to give first crack at putting a group together for this to the people in my two current PbP games on here, so if you are interested let me know. I'm probably about 2 weeks out from being ready to run it, and I'd like to take a week or so to work with the players on their characters.
Just to let everyone know, we've lost Seika to school overload. I'll be botting her through the remainder so you all will have a fair chance at completing the scenario.
About to hit the road this morning and head to a wedding up north. I may be able to post later today but if I'm not able I will be back in town Sunday evening and will be able to pick back up then.

Guys, just wanted to let you all know I'm under a crunch at work right now, so I don't have time to push this along. Hopefully I will be out of the woods by tomorrow and can post up a status. I also had a Roll20 game last night and am hosting a game day tonight that is an hour and a half away, so I don't have any free time in the evenings until Wednesday. Hang tight and I'll get something out as soon as I can.
I'll need the following from each of you in order to complete reporting and get your chronicle sheets out.
This scenario rewards 538gp for completion, if you need to figure that into your spending.
1. PFS # with character #
2. Starting EXP
3. Starting Fame/Prestige
4. Starting Gold (what you had left prior to the scenario start)
5. Anything you wish to sell
6. Anything you wish to buy
I should have your sheets up tonight or tomorrow morning.
I was planning on running Part II but I've been swamped with a lot of local conventions coming up over the next two months as well as GenCon so my time has been cut back. I'll likely be doing it shortly after that all is taken care of so if you'd like me to reach out to you when I am ready to run it just let me know.
Miri, I checked your sessions and I don't see any previous sessions for you. They might not have been reported correctly though by the GM. Do you remember where you got the exp/prestige?
