If you change the first ( for a [,you´ll make a roll:

random roll: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 101d3 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11 Try it if you want.

You can change the number and type of the dice rolled (2d8), put whatever text you want after the equal,not put anything after the dot and comma to only roll a dice, and sum/substract as many as you want.

Barbarian attack, charge, power attack: 1d20 + 6 + 2 - 1 ⇒ (18) + 6 + 2 - 1 = 252d6 + 6 + 3 ⇒ (6, 2) + 6 + 3 = 17Writting it like this allow me to check if all the modifiers are applied (and if you had forgotten anyone take it in account). But its not a must.

I went on and continue with "Lander´s adventures" as nobody as said about stopping him, but I realize Waki is thinking in knocking him out.

If anyone was thinking in trying to convince him to go back, restrain him if he continues adventuring, flatter him, or anything just say it so I can take it in account. You can even make thoughts about it or post conditional actions and I´ll take them in account.

My apology about no posts, it has been a rough week at work.

Hi still here, just been caught up with work this week, and children who don't believe in bedtimes so not much opportunity for gaming. I'll draft a gameplay post in the next few minutes.

Enjoy your day, Aldrea!!! Mine was marvellous but very short, so make the most of every moment.

About the game, two things:

-What I´d done wrong with Lander? ;D I tryed to pose him as unbearable as I can, with insults, considering you less than him, whining, changing his mind as it fits to him... And you tryed to be nice to him until it was more than clear it was working.

When I played it we hate Lander from the very begining and we didn´t think at all in being nice with him.

-We´re very near to the end. You just have to befriend Lander, or explain his mother why he comes back tied and gaged.

If you try to convince him you´ll need more than just roll diplomacy and hope for a a 20. Changing the attitude of someone hostil to you is 25+Cha modifier, so you should try to be creative, and check what you have learn in this adventure that can improve his attitude.

I'll be temporarily out of action, mice chewed through some of wiring around the house and it's caused all sorts of problems over the weekend. Internet's currently down, and so I reckon I'll be out of action until it's sorted. If I get an opportunity I'll post during my lunchbreak at work, but realistically it might be towards the end of the week when things are up and running at home again.

For Lander, I suggest someone tries some training with him, try to earn his respect or offer to teach him some of the finer points of adventuring. Does anyone's characters have any famous contacts? We could offer to help him towards becoming a Pathfinder agent.

Waki does not have much but has 2 boons that may help. One allows him to know if an action will benefit (or not) the Society. And he knows a certain Pathfinder "Janira". Not sure if either of those will work.

I think neither of them. Knowing than befriend Lander will mean be in good terms with her family, the ones who won the Horn of Aroden, don´t need to use a boon (in my opinion)

And Janira only helps you in Absalom to Knowledge checks.

Anyone needs to finish this quickly?

Bledren can only post once every two days more o less, but I can easily predict the outcome of a fist challenge between a brawler and a delusional young noble. So, if needed, we can go quickly through the challenge.

If I have time I'll go back through the posts and see if I can find anything that may change his attitude towards us.

It has been long and hard, but I hope you enjoyed it.
Finally you were able to change Lander´s attitude enough to impress him and his family.

Ha ha we got there in the end! Persistence pays off. He was a hard nut to crack - kids these days!
