Favian continues to fall in line with the others.

I wrote a post and it got eated...
A silvery glow filters through a fine mist in this chamber. A silvery metal rune pulsates with an iridescent light in the chamber’s southeast alcove. To the south stands an impressive crystalline fountain. In an alcove to the southwest is a statue of a man in robes, his face contorted in a surprised sneer.
There is also a creature floating in the air just a bit off the floor. Know: Planes to figure out what it is.

Resistances: Incorporeal, Elemental Traits. No strict resistances. Calcifying Touch is his melee, deals 1d8 dex and if you go to 0 you're petrified for a day. Blindsight 30, Darkvision 60.
The Ozimat seems to be waiting somewhat impatiently, though the more astute judge that he's not specifically impatient with you, but more simply in a heightened state of excitement. Something akin to the attitude a child might take upon being told they are going to a fair, and awaiting their parents putting on coats.

"Well this is fascinating." Hamarabi looks around the room and casts Detect Magic when facing the glowing rune. He also attempts to interpret the rune if able.

Rognak acted as translator between the Ozimat and the group, taking time to jot down notes for his next symposium.
"I would hazard to guess that you normally reside here and the Shaitan that was here, came from where you ended up. What can you tell me of the place? Is there some kind of machinery like this at the other location?" he asked.

He speaks in a calm and methodical manner, like gravel under a boot. "It is a powerful device that the masters used to monitor the storm over Jaizun Citadel, to see when it would be safe to return. It did this by keeping a fraction of the storm’s power within it. I know not of other locations, I am sorry."
Hamarabi, if you can send me a PM with your Email so I can report, please.

"So the machinery served as an gauge as to when it would be safe to return? Hum... Having been on the other side, has the storm died down to the point that they might safely journey back to the Jaizun Citadel?" Rognak asked

"Well now this is an interesting development. I wonder who this might be."
Hamarabi turns his full attention to the statue becoming flesh.

"I do find it odd that most of what we have encountered has been friendly given the long periods of imprisonment. I would think that they would be angry and/or even insane due to how long that have been stuck here."

Blaine moves toward the statue and looks on ever wary of what foul magic this could be.

Speaking Jistka. "We are explorers, sages, and soldiers for a group that decided to explore what was once part of the Jiskan empire. You have awoken from a stone slumber in a long forgotten Jistkin ruin though we no not why you where turned into a statue and left in this place." Hamarabi gestures to his companions as he speaks. "What has happened here thus far is complicated but perhaps you can help us by telling us who you are and of this place."

"If you will give me but a few moments, I will be able to explain." Rognak said as he started to think a bit as he converted some of his spells into one that would help him speak easier to Ocosen.
"Greetings Ocosten, I am Rognak, Spell Sage of Nethys. Lets find someplace to sit down so I can update you as to what has happened over the millennia since you last were awake.

"...and that is what happened since you got trapped here. Now if you are interested, The Dark Archive would be honored if you were to join us as your inside knowledge would allow us to better understand certain items that have been recovered from when the Jistka Imperium flourished." Rognak said.

"Now that you have been caught up to date, what can you tell us of this place? Would you by chance be able to assist us in dealing with the guardians? They are rather immune to magic, and there is not much that I can do." Rognak asked Ocosten.

![]() |

"Well that would seem to be decent reasons to revolt especially if the deals struck where made in bad faith. Perhaps it stands to reason that is why the Jistkin empire is no more upon this world. It is something to think upon for sure."

Does he not know of the lead golems in the entrance? He seems to be referring to some other constructs as guardians.

ScorchedOne |

Yeah, interesting bits: If you kill the Shaitan, or kill the lead golems, the last guy isn't friendly, and he will attack you. If you go toward the Elemental Gauge before the Shaitan is convinced you are trustworthy, he attacks, so there is a chance for much more fighty-fighty in this scenario.
You return with Ocosten to the Pathfinder society, where he is able to share his knowledge. Your superiors congratulate you on your findings, and a certain stone is returned to its rightful owner. Ocosten does decide to work with the society, and if anyone wished to persuade him to join their faction they could make such arrangements.
The PCs successfully complete their secondary mission if they accomplish at least two of the following conditions: parleying with the ozimat Korj; curing the genie Illaton of his madness; freeing Illaton from his binding to Deep Sky by convincing the unpetrified Ocosten to release him; or bringing Ocosten back to the Pathfinder Society. Completing two of these tasks earns each PC 1 additional Prestige Point. You missing one of those was my fault so had it mattered, would have given credit.
All that really remains is chronicles, I should be able to sort those out either tonight or tomorrow. If you need anything particular on them, please let me know.
