"Well, I don't really. I'm just making what I think is the most tasty! I sure hope you like fish." He adjusts the temperature on the stove.
"Oh, of course! Go ahead!"
Omen-Seeker looks through the cabinet of long-since expired ingredients and finds something a little odd. There are several empty bottles of an ingredient popular among lashunta, but poisonous to aquatic creatures.

After hearing that, the android says to the cook, "You're not adding that spice to the dish are you?" and points to the jar in Omen-Seeker's hand.
"That, may have some unhealthy ramifications for you morlamaws, has your group eaten it before?" He tries to speak with as much tact as possible, not wanting to upset the one providing the meal for the Starfinder crew.
"Oh no, I would never use any of the ingredients from down there. We've tried stuff that's made us sick, so we just avoid it. We rotate out food preparation duty, but I don't think anyone else would have tried it either."
As far as you can tell, he's being honest.
"Sure, we all take turns. Even Oshessa!"
You notice about now that morlawmaws are starting to gather at the benches by the stage.
Hinevera gestures to you. "The sermon is about to begin! I do hope that you'll join us."

Dart quietly mentions to his companions. "I can mingle with the others at the sermon to provide a presences of distraction if any of you want to sneak in to her quarters. If things go a miss, I think I can cover the distance quick enough.
Dart takes a seat near the front to get Oshessa's attention. "I look forward to hearing the word of the Weeping Knight. "
Also by making himself somewhat a bit of an attention getter, allow for others to move with less notice.

His hairs standing on edge Rocket is confused about why everyone would want to be so close to a sermon of what obviously contains some sort of Starfinder killing cultists and taking a hint from the Lashunta's playbook sits a bit to the back right next to the aisle - with easy access to run away if it turns out it's needed.
Jut about then, Oshessa emerges and takes the stage. While her demeanor was somewhat brusque when she greeted you earlier, her persona in front of the crowd is magnetic. Every morlamaw is rapt at her every word.
She speaks— in Common, for the benefit of the sect’s new guests—on the importance of loss to have meaning in one’s life, and “how, without pain, we would never appreciate the joyous things in life.” She tells the story of their journey to this place, after being cast out of their city. They faced dangerous animals and violent currents, but eventually made it here, to their new home. Oshessa makes large, expressive gestures with her flippers, to drive every point home.

701 takes a mental note of the phrase, to ask those well-versed in either religions around the pact world or the mystic aspects of life after the sermon.
Because the gears for brains of an android, forgot to bring his comm unit AND his datapad to the mission, with all the excitement of leaving the desk job for an assignment at last.
The sermon continues on the topics of loss and pain, but nothing else stands out as unusual. Unfortunately for anyone with a short attention span, there is no audience participation, although none of the morlamaws seem bored.
After about twenty minutes, the sermon comes to an end. The morlamaws begin filing into the other half of the room for dinner, while Oshessa leaves the stage and moves back toward A8.

Having almost no attention span Rocket twitches nervously through the entire sermon glancing left and right to see if anything interesting is going on until after what seems like an eternity have get up and move around without appearing rude.
He joins up with the others as he stretches his arms over his head
"Wadda ya think of that? Personally I'd fallen asleep if I wasn't so nervous 'bout gettin killed if I did"
Oshessa pauses, before entering the airlock. "Yes? I hope you enjoyed the sermon."

"Yes, it was lovely. A part of it resonated with me, my soul came to this body as it was drifting away in an unmanned vessel, and I can't help but feel that every previous inhabitant of my body has paved the way for me to be here, in a way their loss has been my gain, just like you have lost a home to find this one here.
"I believe you called them the joyous things?" During the conversation the android tries to get the attention of the members of his team around, perhaps these jouyous things ARE in the purview of one of them.
"I'm so glad that the Weeping Knight has spoken to you. Perhaps you can help spread his word on your own planet."

Dart goes up and with a bit of unbounded energy. "The Weeping Knight sounds very fascinating. Though the teachings of the The Drinkless God differ. It is our duty to liberate those who suffer. But, true, if there were no suffering then there would be no joy in the liberation." Dart's mind kind of ponders this for a bit. "However, I am sure there is still some common ground between our faiths. If you have any teachings you can share, I could be able to incorporate them in my own sermons. If you have time now, we can talk some more in your chambers."
"I'd prefer not to have others in my personal quarters. I'd be happy to speak for a few minutes, but I am quite tired after the sermon."

Dart changes tact and his demeanor. "Good Mistress, I understand the exhaustion of a good rousing sermon. And I would agree, a debate on the place and merits of suffering can be tabled for now. However, our inventory of this lodge has come up with some curious discoveries. I know my companions and I would like to discuss these issues with you. And it would be best done with out alarming the rest of your flock"
"Oh?" She asks, curtly. "And what might those discoveries be?"

"Perhaps carrying this conversation in a more, hmm, private environment would be best." 701 looks at the gathering morlamaws on the other end of the room, "And the sooner we get out of your way, the sooner you can tend to your flock for dinner!"
If Oshessa turns her back to 701, he'll use the comm unit that came with his armor to send a text message, perhaps a bit outdated, may be barbaric, but effective nonetheless, to the Starfinder crew. Did you notice all the scars on Oshessa-s flippers?
