Talindra 24
Vinexa 23
Zaiid 18
Tanic 18
Akri 13
Other Prisoners 12
Micar 9
Drow Guards 8
Harro 6

Micar Youxia |

On Micar's turn he'll use an Arcane Point to make the rapier a +1 weapon as a swift action then attack the owner of the rapier.
Rapier: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

Talindra Misraria |
Seizing the initiative, Talindra slashes at her victim with her rock before firing her loaded crossbow at point blank range. Full attack using two-weapon fighting against her flat-footed target. At least, I'm assuming the drow guard is flat-footed so I can shoot while in melee range without drawing an AOO. Note that the Hand Crossbow is Nocticula's favored weapon, so she gets Warpriest damage on it of 1d6
Dagger: 1d20 + 4 - 2 ⇒ (15) + 4 - 2 = 17; Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 3; Concealment: 1d10 ⇒ 9
Hand Crossbow: 1d20 + 4 - 2 ⇒ (12) + 4 - 2 = 14; Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 5; Concealment: 1d10 ⇒ 4
Talindra really hopes the dart she just fired is covered with Drow poison.

Tanic PBP |

Tanic will charge and try to grapple the unarmed guard in a flying tackle.
cmb: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
That did not go well.

EmEss |

Micar Concealment: 1d10 ⇒ 9
Fort save: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
They are currently flatfooted. The nearest drow drops unconscious as he is hit by the bolt from Talindra's hand crossbow. Micar and Talindra both hit. Tanic attempts to tackle the drow guard in the doorway but misses and narrowly avoids falling through the doorway to the web below. 2 Guards still in the vicinity. Akri?

Akri |

Turning towards one of the drow still standing, Akri snarled and sent another wave of energy outwards.
Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24
Damage: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
Crit Confirm: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11
Damage: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9

Harro Boulderbran Grimcrater |

I realize Harro doesn't go for awhile, but he's pretty straight forward, so to save time later: No raging yet.
Harro moves steadily to the nearest and most obvious enemy drow he can find in the mist and attempts to whack it with his piece of metal!
Scrap Metal Club: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6
Damage: 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4

EmEss |

drow attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20
concealment: 1d10 ⇒ 3
damage: 1d6 ⇒ 5
DM stuff: 1d4 ⇒ 3
There are two drow guards still conscious on the bridge. The nearest one charges up the bridge and drawing his rapier stabs at Harro see rolls above . Harro swings back at it but misses. The other one backs slowly down the bridge towards the rest of the outpost.
* The obscuring mist is covering the tower but not the bridge. You are all in the mist but neither of the guards are.
*I'm imagining Harro, Micar, standing in the doorway with the others in the group within the guard room in the tower.
*The other slaves press on up into the tower.
*Talindra finds 10 additional bolts on the drow's body
*@Vinexa You're the only one who hasn't acted in this round. Feel free to jump back in whenever.

Harro Boulderbran Grimcrater |

Harro: see rolls above
So did he hit or did he miss me because of concealment? Can I see beyond the doorway at all?

EmEss |

@Vinexa Stared Guard went down from drow poison
@Harro. He hit. I'm using a 1 or a 2 on a d10 for a miss due to 20% concealment
@Talindra. Sure It makes sense for Talindra to know about Drow Poison. Stats are as follows:
Type poison (injury); Save Fortitude DC 13
Frequency 1/minute for 2 minutes
Initial Effect unconsciousness for 1 minute; Secondary Effect unconsciousness for 2d4 hours; Cure 1 save
He went down from the poison but I believe he was close to going down from the damage anyway.

Micar Youxia |

Micar moves to the next closest guard and attacks with the rapier. If I can get into a flank with Harro, I will do so using Acrobatics if necessary.
If I can't get into a flank in a single move, I'll stop and attack
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (9) + 9 = 18
Rapier: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21 (add +2 If flanking)
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Sneak Damage (if flanking): 1d6 ⇒ 3

Harro Boulderbran Grimcrater |

@Harro. He hit. I'm using a 1 or a 2 on a d10 for a miss due to 20% concealment
Got it! Damage applied. So who is up next?

Vinexa |

With her initial target taken out Vinexa moved in towards the nearest guard as she focused her gaze on them. Once again her mind reached out and began to niggle at her victims mind as she approached and lashed out with one claw.
Claw Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 181d4 ⇒ 2
If I hit I will activate painful stare for my attack.
Painful Stare: 1d6 ⇒ 2
The claw dug in and suddenly the guard felt pain wracking his body from her gaze as her clawed fingers sliced into his flesh.
If my attack does not hit then I will use Painful Stare for the first person who does hit him adding 1 point of precision damage to each of their hits on the target.

EmEss |

Vinexa hits the guard.
@Micar I assume your most recent action with the flanking is intended to replace your early action this round which was made redundant by your target being poisoned higher up the intiative order. If this is the case then your flanking is successful.
Start of Round 2
Talindra 24
Vinexa 23
Tanic 18
Akri 13
Other Prisoners 12
Micar 9
Drow Guards 8
Harro 6

Micar Youxia |

@Micar I assume your most recent action with the flanking is intended to replace your early action this round which was made redundant by your target being poisoned higher up the intiative order. If this is the case then your flanking is successful.
Yes, I was unaware that the guard dropped before my turn in initiative. My action for this round is above when my turn in initiative comes up.

Vinexa |

Vinexa continued to glare at her guard in hatred as she laid into him, both of her hands swiping at him with their claws as she lunged her head forward and bit at him.
Claw 1 with painful: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 71d4 + 1d6 ⇒ (4) + (6) = 10
Claw 2 with painful: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 81d4 + 1d6 ⇒ (3) + (3) = 6
bite with painful: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 221d6 + 1d6 ⇒ (4) + (2) = 6
In her haste to take him down she failed to even scratch his armor but the guards dodging of her talons brought him right into her bight. Her teeth got his neck and tore out, the pain far greater than it should have been, and then quickly stepped around to make sure the fool had something to worry about while the others tried to take him down.
Full attack and then five foot around the guard towards our path to freedom while still staying in a place to provide flank.

Tanic PBP |

Are there any guards still in the guard house? You mentioned two that were not. And how far away is the guard backing off the bridge? Oh for an illusion spell right now.

Akri |

Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 15
Damage: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
Turning his attention to the one on the bridge, Akri moved within range and fired off another ball of energy.
How wide is the bridge? Are there any safety rails or the like on the sides?

Tanic PBP |

Is this a spidersilk bridge or a stone bridge. I don't think thunderstomp will work in this situation but thought I'd ask. If not are there any missile weapons Tanic could grab from a downed guard?

EmEss |

The bridge is Spider Silk. It's about 5 feet wide and does have rope hand rails. Talindra has the crossbow that the downed guard was carrying, there are probably more in the storage area above the trapdoor but you wouldn't have time to retrieve one and shoot in one turn. @Akri aiming at the nearer or further drow guard?

Tanic PBP |

Tanic will use his touch of darkenss ability from the Darkness domain on the nearer guard.
Touch to hit: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14

Harro Boulderbran Grimcrater |

I think everybody has gone except the 'other prisoners' and the drow guard this round. I just need to know when I can swing at something, if anything.

EmEss |

Apologies. Had a hectic few days coupled with internet trouble.
Jimjar gestures for Derendil to give him a boost up to the trapdoor and disappears inside. "There's loads of weapons in here, rapiers, crossbows, everything" he calls down.
GM: 1d6 ⇒ 3
GM: 1d6 ⇒ 5
The furthest drow turns and fires his crossbow at Micar. ranged attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16 fort save: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13 damage: 1d4 ⇒ 4. The bolt strikes Micar and he feels slightly woozy for a moment but manages to stay conscious. JUST met the fort save!
The nearer guard, looking very much the worse for wear, stabs at Tanic with his rapier.
melee attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
concealment: 1d10 ⇒ 9
But misses.
Harro you're up. Sorry again for the delay.

Harro Boulderbran Grimcrater |

Assuming I'm still in melee with the same guy or can move to another one quickly enough.
Scrap Iron Attack!: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21
Miss Chance: 1d10 ⇒ 5
Damage: 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Over his shoulder Harro will reply to the discovery of the weapons cache.
"Start toss'n down anything we can use you blathering id'git!"

EmEss |

As Harro strikes the nearer guard he falls unconscious unless one of you choose to grab the guard (DC 10 Strength or Dex Check) he will fall from the bridge into the webbing below .
There is only one guard still standing (halfway across the bridge). Due to the narrowness of the bridge only one person can get into melee with the guard at a time (or two with an acrobatics check to push past him, triggering an AoE).
Jimjar will push down a crate containing 6 light crossbows in his place in the initiative if you want to delay until then.
[ooc] Round Two begins.
Talindra 24
Vinexa 23
Tanic 18
Akri 13
Other Prisoners 12
Micar 9
Drow Guards 8
Harro 6

Harro Boulderbran Grimcrater |

I could care less if the guard falls, but can I grab a weapon from him as he goes? At least a dagger (or similar) weapon instead?
Strength: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19

Vinexa |

Being unable to reach the remaining guard and attack him the half-demoness instead made her way closer to him and began to stare balefully at him.
Move to within 30 ft if possible and begin...The Stare. Should he be hit I will activate painful stare the first time it happens for an extra 1 pt of damage for each hit he takes from that attacker.

Tanic PBP |

Tanic is not much with crossbows and is a distant choice for engaging the guard. He will position himself at the end of the bridge and cast create water to create 4 gallons of water over the guards head.
"Wads da matter wit da big bad Drow? Gettin' cold feet and head and hands and other shriveled members? You like sitting on that drafty bridge like a cowardly goblin?"

Micar Youxia |

Micar will move up and attack the last guard (attacking defensively).
Rapier: 1d20 + 5 - 4 ⇒ (15) + 5 - 4 = 16
damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
+2 AC for fighting defensively

EmEss |

poisoned?: 1d3 ⇒ 1
guard fort save: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
Changing up the order a little for dramatic effect
Tanic dumps the water over the guard, distracting it. This provides Micar with the perfect opening to move in and attack, deftly stabbing the guard, who doubles over in agony. As Micar withdraws to the en garde position, Vinexa smiles, her painful stare taking effect. The guard doesn't even notice the bolt which strikes him him in the upper thigh. The poison swiftly takes effect causing him to fall unconscious. Like the previous guard on the bridge he will fall to the webbing below unless Micar chooses to grab hold of him (DC10 Strength or Dex Check)
With the guards dispatched you have time to inspect the tower. The lower chamber contains a zurkhwood table and three chairs, a smaller side table, and hooks on the wall for hanging equipment. Outside you can here the winged demons continuing their furious battle. Searching the room and the storage area above you are able to gather:
*6 Chain Shirts
*6 Suits of Leather Armour
*6 Bucklers
*6 Light Crossbows
*2 Hand Crossbows
*10 Cases of Crossbow bolts (unpoisoned, each contains 20 bolts)
*6 Rapiers
*10 Daggers
*6 Bags of Caltrops
*4 50ft Coils of Silk Rope
*2 Hammers Of the Tool variety
*2 Bags of Iron Spikes
*1 Pack of Cards
* Any Weapon or Armour that you had on you coming in MAY also be present here, or may have been claimed by another guard. Let me know what you hope to find and I'll let you know if you do
Unless anyone stops him Jimjar pockets the packet of cards. "Time to distribute the loot and plan our next move" Jimjat says, cackling with glee."Do we cut and run now while we're ahead or play on for the big money in the shrine?"

Harro Boulderbran Grimcrater |

While I would love to find a great axe or two-handed sword here, Harro was just a kid when he was captured...so he doesn't expect much for himself. But he is used to improvising...
Harro will grab one of the chain shirts, two daggers, and a hammer. He will throw the rapier he grabbed from the guard on the pile with a snort then don the armor and adjust it. He will then proceed to the table and start removing one of the legs using the hammer and dagger. Once loose he will shave a bit with the dagger to get it quickly into a more useful club-shape from the zurkhwood.
Craft: Weaponsmithing: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14
I don't know the size of the table, but I'm hoping for a greatclub, if not, then just a regular actual club. I know I may be pushing the rules a bit with craft skills, but the situation is unique. He will also keep the piece of scrap metal, tucked in his belt for the future.
While quickly shaving away at the wood, Harro will laugh at Jimjar.
"You go kill yourself in the temple you crazy bugger! Them drow will love havin' their sacrifices walk'n right up an ask'n for it. I'm fer' getting out'ta here, not poking the spider's nest!"
EDIT: Also, If nobody else minds, then Harro will also grab a light crossbow, a case of quarrels sized for it, and a bag of the spikes.

EmEss |

@Harro I'll allow it because it's cool and thematic. Regarding the size and amount of wood you have to work with I'd say you can fashion a slightly smaller than average greatclub. This would do 1d8 (like a small greatclub) but you wouldn't suffer any penalty for using a mis-sized weapon as you were able to compensate for that as you shaped it.

Micar Youxia |

Micar would look for his wakizashi and his spell book. Those would have been his only 2 possessions.
He will take a leather armor and don it, a light crossbow with a case of bolts, a dagger, a bag of caltrops, and a silk rope.

Tanic PBP |

Tanic will snag a set of leather armor, a wooden shield if available, a scimitar if available, a pair of daggers, 2 bags of caltrops, a bag of iron spikes, a coil of rope, and a hammer. He will also cast detect poison as he goes along looking for the inevitable stash. He also keeps on the lookout for spell components. Perhaps his pouch is there?
"Cut and run I say."

As long as I can use it in two hands, then I'm good! EDIT: Batter's UP! =)

Talindra Misraria |
"Feeding time, yes?" says Talindra, echoing the drow mistress in her treatment of the last victim. Talindra observes whether the spiders are eating the drow. If they are, she shoves the last remaining drow over the edge to his doom.
She then gears up and also takes stock to sort between poisoned and unpoisoned bolts. Taking a second hand crossbow, a chain shirt, a rapier, a proper dagger. She hopes to find her holy symbol of Nocticula, a spell component pouch, and a cestus for each hand.

Akri |

I didn't have anything, as I was caught in the wilds of the Underdark.
Grabbing another set of leather armor, Akri quickly donned it before grabbing a dagger and light crossbow. "Not fond of weapons, but I at least know a bit about using them," he said, mostly to himself, before searching for a bag or sack. "Someone should grab a bundle of rope or two, would really come in handy down in the tunnels."

Vinexa |

Having had nothing to begin with Vinexa quickly grabbed up a light crossbow, a chainshirt, and a case of bolts. That accomplished she pulled on the chainshirt and then attached the bolts to it while slinging the crossbow across the small of her back so as to avoid fouling it in her wings if she needed it. Her gear in place, and with a brief stroking of her spider before the creature disappeared into her clothing again, Vinexa said, "I'm ready if the rest of you are."
