Jaazkara |

Jaazkara nods while strapping her pauldrons into place, then asks "Is 'dere any odders' you know 'dat may have more knowledge of 'dese 'tings?"

GM Lemmy |

Glasseye stares at nothing in particular and shares some extra information.
"The blond woman often visited the market and returned with full bags. She also often talked to a light-brown haired woman with golden-coloured eyes, who was usually accompanied by a tall dark-brown haired man with black eyes. At some point, the tall man started accompanying the blond woman to the market and returning with large barrels and full bags. They would usually return and be met by the dark brown-haired woman... At this point, the blonde would leave, usually carrying the blond toddler, although she did sometimes leave the child with the dark-haired couple. The couple probably leaves near the big, red warehouse where they stock fabric and cloth. The fox-woman was there as well. She's always there when the tourists arrive for the festival. She did talk to the older children with the blond woman and gave them purple masks and a handful of colourful ribbons."

Brother Cyrus |

"The Fox-woman sounds like our best bet. Unusual enough to find easily. Let's start asking around about that. Perhaps Lady-no never mind. Let's just start by asking around the warehouse." Brother Cyrus clears his throat and corrects himself.

GM Lemmy |

"Farewell." says Glasseye as you leave. He heads back to the ocean, slowly sinking as he walks.
A few minutes later you do indeed find a girl wearing a Fox mask, near the place where your ship first arrived. As usual, she's advertising "Moon Faces", a collection of moon-themed masks for the festival (which, you now remember, lasts for a week, and nearly everyone stays masked for the whole time, although how recognizable each person and mask is varies greatly). She handles pamphlets and fliers to passer-byes.
"May I help you?" says the young woman with curly, blue-tinted hair. "Looking for something specific?"

Eitylen |

Eitylen waves a hand at glasseye before leaving - Thanks for teh stories!.
At the fox-lady, Eitylen just take look at the mask waiting for Frederick or cyrus to speak first.

Jaazkara |

Jaazkara bows deeply to the strange sentient construct, and then thanks him for his time.
"My 'tanks, sir. You have been most helpful."

Sundakan |

Who's that then?

GM Lemmy |

Someone the blond woman knew/knows, obviously. But it was the blonde who met Frederick's parents... You don't have to find the brown-haired couple. They are just another clue/witness, if you do find them. The woman with the fox-shaped mask is probably easier to find... so much, in fact, that you did find her rather quickly.

Brother Cyrus |

"Yes actually, though not exactly business related. We're trying to find our friend's mother. An orc woman. We believe one of your customers might of spoken to her or her companion. A blond haired woman with three children with her, one just a babe. I believe the two children got masks from you. Do you happen to remember them? One of the children had golden colored eyes and long light brown hair. The other child was wearing a hood with a cloth fin." Cyrus gives his most winning smile.
"I imagine you have a great deal of customers so I understand if this is a bit of an impossible inquiry."

GM Lemmy |

"An orc woman?! Oh, sweetie... I haven't seen one of those in years... In fact, it's been at least a decade since I saw any orc other than your handsome friend over there." she says, with an elegant voice. "There are many blond women with children, though... We get more and more tourists the closer the festival gets. I don't remember seeing anyone with three kids, but if any of her kids wears a hood with a fin, you might want to ask Marina Ironblood about it. One of her daughters used to wear one of those... Maybe she gave it to someone else?"

GM Lemmy |

"Oh... So this was years ago? I was under impression it had happened this year." she replies, making Brother Cyrus realize he left out this detail. "Well... I do remember seeing an orc woman during a Purple Moon Festival. It can't have been the 9th... Was it the 8th? Hmmm... No. I was at my cousin's place that year. Maybe the 7th, then? That must be it... The 6th festival was the first one I've seen, I still remember it clear as daylight! Didn't see a single orc back then."

GM Lemmy |

The fox-masked lady places one finger on her chin, as if taking a moment to jog her own memory...
"Hmmm... I remember seeing her by the docks... And I'm sure she bought a couple Moon Faces at the store. It's not everyday an orc walks in, so it kinda sticks out in my mind..." she takes a moment to speak again... You can't see her face, but it does seem like she's trying to recall something. "Sorry, honey... I have a good memory, but that was 15 years ago..." she says, somewhat low-spirited... Then she raises her head and speaks cheerfully: "Wait! If this was 15 years ago... Then the kids you saw might actually be Marina's! I'd never forget those fish-themed hoodies! Little Marcie and Rennie used it all the time!"

Jaazkara |

Jaazkara, with all the recent interactions the party has had with attractive human women of late, is taken quite by surprise when she feels the sudden urge to be close to the masked woman. The lizardwoman shakes her head to clear it, and wonders to herself if she is losing her mind.
Now that's an odd thought. Perhaps it is time to seek out...a diversion. I wonder what these pretty fragile warmbloods look like under all that frilly colorful fabric... she thinks to herself, then resolves to find her answer.

GM Lemmy |

You recognize "Marina Ironblood" as the name of the wife of Joel Ironblood. The couple owns the tavern where you've been staying ever since you came Blue Shell. Marcie is their daughter, who does most of the paperwork of the place and is often by the door, greeting new customers.
Both Marina and her daughter have honey-colored eyes, not too different from gold. They both have brown hair as well, although Marcie's is darker, closer to Joel's hair (the parts that aren't white, anyway).

Brother Cyrus |

"The Ironbloods!" Cyrus suddenly blinks and says.
"Thank you for your help ma'am. May Desna grant you luck." Cyrus places a gold coin in her hand in thanks.

Jaazkara |

Jaazkara says to the others on the way to the tavern, "Perhaps now would be a good time to offload some of 'dese spoils and take of stock of what we have and what we wish to keep? If not, we can wait 'till we have tracked down 'dee next...clue?"

Brother Cyrus |

"I'm actually on very good terms with the Ironbloods so now seems like a good time to offload it. I'm sure they'll be helpful whether we get there now or in an hour or two."
I wonder how much a more permanent housing would cost... Cyrus idly thinks as he shows the way to the market plaza.

Brother Cyrus |

"To me? Sure. I live in their tavern after all."

Brother Cyrus |

Lets see...
8x longswords
8x daggers
4x masterwork longswords
1x cold iron masterwork sickle
3x +1 longswords
1x +1 Large battleaxe
Sell all those unless someone wants to keep one. Maybe the sickle?
1x +2 breastplate
1x +2 breastplate (made of unknown metal)
3x +1 full plates made of pieces of different armors
4x masterwork wooden heavy shields
1x +2 Large breastplate
1x +1 Large shield
I believe we should get the unknown metal identified. Otherwise sell the rest.
1x Acid Arrow (18 charges) (CL 3)
1x Air Bubble (CL 6) (12 charges)
1x Calm Animals (CL 6) (25 charges)
1x Magic Missile (CL 5) (7 charges)
1x Lesser Restoration (CL 10) (50 charges)
1x Purify Food and Drink (CL 1) (50 charges)
1x Speak With Animals (CL 6) (28 charges)
We should sell the Acid Arrow and Magic Missile wands and keep the rest.

Eitylen |

that's quite a lot. Eitylen would like to keep the daggers, and I disagree on the acid arrow and the magic missile. THe first is could be handy against caster and the second against incorporeal or whatever.
Do you allow quick draw to work with wands Lemmy? or spring loaded wrist sheath?

Jaazkara |

Jaazkara follows along with the rest of the party, secretly entertaining thoughts of human women in various states of undress. After a few minutes, she clears her throat and speaks hesitantly, asking her question with what sounds to be poorly-feigned curiosity.
"So...pardon my distraction, but have any of you been to 'dis, 'Viper's Nest?' Perhaps we could make a short detour when we are finished? Or not...it is no matter..."
Jaazkara's sentence trails off quietly as her voice takes on an uncharacteristic tone of awkwardness.

Brother Cyrus |

"The Viper's why would you want-oh! Oh my. Ehem. Why would you wish to go that establishment? Lady Hazel's maidens at the temple of Calistria are far superior." Brother Cyrus is surprised at the lizardfolk's request but after puzzling it out, he kindly suggests a...safer alternative.

Eitylen |

In his innocent mind Eitylen is confused about the reasons the lizardgirl is asking about the viper nest or why Cyrus recommended the calistrian instead...What kind of adventuring is Jaazkara interested in, uhm...

What makes you think there's no association and/or cooperation between the two establishments? Lady Hazel herself told you she's a friend of Veronica Le Fey, owner of the Viper's Nest. :P

Whose to say they aren't rivals as well? Besides, Cyrus only speaks from personal preference.
