Appearance:
A large, hugely-muscled reptilian humanoid, with dark green scales fading to a lighter green towards the extremities, which include a long scaled tail with a small line of ridges down the middle. Clad in a finely-made breastplate that looks worn and has been covered with a thin layer of mud to reduce its shine. The breastplate has been hammered out in just the right places to give the vague impression of a feminine figure. A long, shiny-bladed polearm with primitive-looking runes etched into its blade is strapped across her back. Her face is dominated by keen, vertically-slit golden eyes with a strange sentience obvious within, as well as some kind of darker glow; almost as if lit by an unseen blaze.

Backstory:
Jaazkara was not unused to danger. Growing up in a small isolated lizardfolk community, her short childhood was one of constant danger and preparation. Every member of a lizardfolk clan is expected to contribute in some way, from nearly the week they are hatched until the day that they go back to the mud. Her early life was filled with gathering medicinal herbs with the shamans, tending the boggy garden her clan maintains, and learning the ways of the hunters and warriors. From an early age, Jaazkara showed natural potential to become a skilled warrior. She trained with her clutchmates for long hours, and did indeed excel at battle, besting older and larger members of her tribe by her early adolescence. However, when she came of age, warriors were in no short supply in her community. The dangers of the Boiling Swamp served to keep her people's numbers relatively low, but no wars with the swamps other inhabitants for some time had served to create a surplus of able combatants. What her village lacked was shamans; druids and priestesses, soothsayers and wise ones. But Jaazkara knew that she could never excel at such a life; her role was at the forefront of battle, finding danger and slaying it before it found her sleepy little village of sod-and-mud-built huts. So it was that she stole away into the night, her single act of rebellion against a life that she saw only as a prison. She has wandered the marshes surrounding the Boiling Swamp, and has come to find a place of her own among its dangerous and unpredictable natives. Now she seeks to learn what lies beyond this great boggy expanse, and see the whole of the world. She lives day-today by fishing, hunting, and foraging, having retained the vast majority of her nature lore gained in childhood. She travels alone, always ready for the next life-changing experience that may lie just around the corner...
