Everyone else's PC can choose what to do. If you want to angle off and close in to set up for a ranged attack you can.

If someone wanted to march up shoulder to shoulder with him they could do that as well

Clarification of the current situation.

Calmly Sheoll decided to engage the spider in a fight, he calmly walked to the 100 feet to the center to engage the spider.

While he was doing that, what did each of your PC's decide to do?

Tassira ran as close as she could get to the fight and threw a magic missile at the spider.

A courtesy heads-up: I will be away from the boards until my Monday (your Sunday) due to a family celebration.

Sorry I am back had to deal with some personal stuff and was unexpectedly away from my computer for a bit because of it. I will try to get something up by the end of the day.

Sorry for not posting but my mom has taken a bad turn and I am her primary care giver and I don't believe things will be back to normal at least until some time next week. I will try to keep everyone up on when I can post consistently again.

This AP is NPC heavy already. How do you ladies feel about the idea of that 2 person PC party and two NPCs?

I would have to level you both to third and level Mikmek anmd Crackjaw to second in order to do it.

Hello everyone sorry for taking so long to get back. I want to let everyone know My mom is doing better though she still needs to go to a bunch of appointments and check ups. I am feeling a bit wrung out right now and am divesting myself of my GMing duties because I just couldn't keep up with it at this point with everything else I am trying to handle. I am not sure how consistent I can post here but I am willing to try and keep up with things now that my mom is out of the woods.

I would like us to recruit 1-2 new players/PCs. We aren't that far gone into the game and there could be player interest on the board. I'm not a fan of numerous NPCs in the main party as I don't believe they work in the long term and don't facilitate much motivation for group conversations/RP etc.

Tass and Alex, how do you feel about this suggestion? No slight on you DM but I feel there's a real gap that requires filling with Sheoll no longer in game and Alex not on as regularly/consistently. Glad your mom is doing better, Alex. Just don't want this game to die out when you are unable to post.

KenderKin, All 3 of us are happy for Markov Wolfpelt (cavalier) to join the team.

That brings our group to 4. We wouldn't mind one more PC to bring us to 5 and full team again.

We hope more interest comes along on the recruitment thread. Will bump it again.

A man riding a white horse reigns in his horse as he notices you. He then dismounts his horse and pulls back his cloak and pulls off his helm, carrying it in the crook of his arm. He walks towards you with a hand raised.
"Ho There! The names Markov! That theres my horse, Snow." He gestures towards the white horse with his free hand and turns back to you. "You all seem a bit low on man power. So if you all don't mind, I would like to help you."

It is nice to meet you all. I hope we get along well and get into the later parts of this adventure.

"I also have many means on hurting the things that may wish to eat you. Got a nice battleaxe here, a sickle, it may be made from silver, and a morningstar, made from cold iron. Oh, also have a bow if there are anything far away or flying. So I got ya covered!"

I am going to apologize for being confused. It looked like you just got out of the pit with the trapped door spider when you met Mikmek and Crackjaw. I must have missed something. Sorry about that.

We have moved on from that point. We have moved through the woods to the moonradish patch. We were following Crackjaw who was leading us to the kobold camp.

Since Svetlana wanted the moonradishes (which Ro has mentioned now three times lol), it would be good to harvest some now before we have to meet the kobold Chief and Tartuk.

Leaving the spider's nest and heading into the nearby woods, you find a hex that is mostly wooded, but an area just within has a large patch of moon-radishes.

Mikmek: "See radishes."

Based on your initial sweep around Oleg's this is the next hex you would have explored anyway....
