Ruprecht stabs a spear into the eye of the horror. A pale ichor seeps out but the creature closes its thick lid before the blade gets too deep. Alistina follows up with a blow from her hammer, after Tavarius burns the mystic with Dispater's punishment.
The monstrous creature flinches from the divine energy and flails about uselessly.
Redirected A's attack to TWPF as the mystic was at -10 & the channel is a burst. The second & third hit would have missed, so it works out that a move happened instead. I hope that is OK, but let me know if not. Also if A has more than an +2 weapon, things might be different.
Fatima can take an action for R6 as well as R7, as can the HK if you want to retcon something in.

Lol, is there anything left of our opponents after that onslaught?!
Venture Teller Play b'Post |
Well... the 16 doesn't confirm and DR stopped 70 pts. of dmg...
The tiefling steps up to the dazed creature and lays into it with blade and arcane power. Its wounds spurt ichor that melts the worms around it and causes them to warp into small spikes. An adamantine blade severs the pincers from a tentacle and Fenrik just smiles and does it again. Fatima's holy steel leaves dents in the creature's skin and rips at its very essence. Ruprecht's spear quivers as he pulls a monstrous heart from the qlippoth's flesh. Tavarius casts a spell and the pathfinders repeat the process in a flurry too fast for the eye to see. The mounting wounds are too much for the orc's new god and it crushes in on itself with a world-tearing pop.
Simultaneously the pile of writhing worms seems to implode one second only to reverse the second after, sending worms flying and a shockwave through the region for miles around. Some orcs stop fighting and scream, holding their heads and covering their ears. The Hellknights cheer as their targets figuratively lose their heads, and then make the metaphor literal with easy strokes of the sword.
Many of the Severed Hand lose heart, or worse, grow mad, with the destruction of their new god. Joining the Hellknights soon leads the Pathfinders to a victory. Some orcs are destroyed by reading the runes carved into the bodies which also damages those around them. Others flee into the mountains, but most are quickly dispatched with matter-of-fact efficiency.

So are all of the baddies down and we are out of combat? I can't see anymore enemies on the map.
Venture Teller Play b'Post |
Aye, out of combat and indeed, out of scenario. It kind of ends abruptly.
"I promise to write a favorable report to my superiors regarding the Pathfinder Society," says the Hellknights. You have earned the respect of Signifer Karva, The Society is grateful that a great evil was cleansed from the world And
Zarta Dralneen is disappointed about losing the knowledge from the Pillars of the Sky, "I commend you for making a tough choice."
I thought there would be more to the ending than that... so I am giving you a brief glimpse of the destroyed temple.
The temple of Sky about an hour ago:
A temple carved from white stone hangs off the side of this rocky spire. A pillow-like layer of clouds rests just below the temple and stretches outward for miles. Chill winds gust around the temple and, from time to time, they seem to carry airy whispers with them. Twenty engraved pillars are arrayed across the temple and a circular hole opens up in the center of the ruins. Perched atop each pillar is a crude statue of a bearded man wearing flowing robes and brandishing a lightning bolt in his hand. A white marble altar rests on the northern wing of the temple. The temple is shaped like a cross and has no walls or handrails—a fall from the edge leads to a long drop to the ravine below.
However the shaman apprentice (That Which Peels Flesh ate the shaman when it was first summoned) has toppled and crushed all the pillars. There was a struggle. The crushed bodies of many orcs and gortheks (the orc's beasts of burden) litter the area. Many of the bearded statues have also been destroyed. They bear the marks of swords and axe: guardians who died defending the temple. The destruction of the magic portal tipped the tied in the orc's favor.
A clue discovered in checking the alter. It is built from white marble and carved into the shape of clouds. Coded runes are also engraved into this altar, which can be used to activate temple guardians. If the guardians are already active, reading the altar instead deactivates them, which immediately turns the graven guardians back to stone (potentially causing them to fall and shatter if currently in flight).
Winds urge the Pathfinders to leave, and if the you do not withdraw quickly, they aggressively shove you closer and closer to the edge of the tower, potentially knocking the someone off the tower altogether. Once at the edge the winds grow quiet, a warning before kicking up and throwing the intruder off the tower.
Any RP for hellknights on the way back? Anything else to do here? Any questions?

"Glad we could pull your butts out of the fire so to speak..." Fenrik says to the Hellknights since he is not known to be loving of ruthlessly lawful organizations... "You all fight well though, tough as nails..."

Overall, Ru was fairly impressed with the Hellknights he met. "Hopefully this will maintain the peace between our respective organizations."
