Ake of the Stolen Soul |
Seeing the poor women passed out on the couch, Ake feels a sharp needle of regret in her heart.
We let anger and haste rule our actions, poor leaders of judgement and action.
Ours is not the only pain and sorrow in this house.
We should not have left here alone here.
That was not a good idea.
Things like me like the dark, it is easier to work wicked deeds in the depth of night.
No one can see you, few will hear you, and fewer will try to stop you.
Your anger led us to the Harrowstone, Ioann, it is vented now.
Use your strength to carry her to bed and be silent in your actions.
Terrance Foehammer |
Terrance seeing the woman sleeping tries to quietly walk in
I left the note, so that she would not worry where we went. He comments quietly.
I will assist Ravel, but then I must go rest.
Ingrid Van der Geist |
"I can carry her upstairs." Ingrid says, freeing herself of her scabbard."You go ahead and rest Terrance."

Up to Ioan, he's the one acting all wierd, lol
Ingrid Van der Geist |
Both at the same time going upstairs is ludicrous. The point is to not wake her.
Ingrid Van der Geist |
"You go ahead and carry her up Ioan, I don't want to wake her." Ingrid whispers.
Dude you have half the party acting as wingman...DON'T @#$@ IT UP! LOL

Shaking his head at the antics, Terrance quietly heads into the kitchen to help Ravel.
Wingman ?? singular ?? don't you mean wingmen ??
Ioann Vilescu |
Right, makes more sense to not wake her up and take her upstairs...
Ioann carefully approaches her, making as little noise as possible.
stealth: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 1 = 13
str: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 17
The man carefully picks up miss Lorrimor and starts heading toward her room as carefully as possible, taking extra care not to bump her head on any door frames.

As you make your way to Kendra's room she begins to stir in your arms. Her eyes flutter open for a moment, and a soft smile spreads across her lips. "Ioann," She mutters before letting out a contented sigh and resting her head against your chest, she is swiftly back asleep once more.
Ingrid Van der Geist |
"We should probably all get some sleep, I get the feeling we're going to need it." Ingrid says yawning.
Terrance Foehammer |
Ingrid, I intend to, however, I need something to calm my nerves down from those flying skulls.
After the breakfast, and Tea, Terrance will go upstairs to go to sleep.
Ingrid Van der Geist |
"All right, I could eat something anyway," Ingrid says with a smile, heading into the kitchen. "Tea?"
Orin Gabor |
Nodding at Terrance and Ingrid, Orin sits on a chair. "A small meal to settle up and then sleep. This is the last time I think I'll stay up the whole... *YAWN!* Night. Well, I hope anyway."
Orin takes and finishes his small meal and then heads to bed, falling asleep very quickly. Hey, blame the stress...
Ravel Sigrún |
Ravel pours tea for anyone who asks for it. "Let us hope that we continue to uncover the secrets of Harrowstone, perhaps with a little more preparation now that we know the dead do not lie quietly in those halls. I appreciate everyone's willingness to venture out so late, what we discovered was troubling, but I believe we have a better grasp of what the dear Professor was discovering." Idly she pets the bat on her shoulder. "Poor Narcissa is not accustomed to being awake as the sun rises. After breakfast we too shall retire."
Terrance Foehammer |
Aye, we found something, just not sure of what it was. As for staying up all night, I also hope that it is the last time.
Terrance says with another deep yawn.
Well, now, I think I will go . . .
As Terrance falls asleep on the couch.
DM Twilight |
Terrance, you are awakened a few short hours later as Lady Kendra tiptoes around the house trying very hard not to wake you.
The others find that the sun is not so willing to obey your wishes of staying hidden behind your curtains as the day passes away, yet through your exhaustion, you manage a relatively decent 8 or so hours of sleep.
Terrance Foehammer |
Terrance asks as he wakes with a start.
snk. .I am sorry, lady Kendra, was I snoring?
If you will pardon me.
Terrance goes up to wash up, and change into clean cloths, and then prepare his spells for the day.
Terrance Foehammer |
Once Terrance has completed his routine. Albet a couple of hours late, he comes back downstairs.
May I help you with the break fast, tea and coffee ?
Terrance Foehammer |
My pleasure.
Terrance takes a few moments to set the table while waiting on the others to come down.
Ake of the Stolen Soul |
Having fallen asleep leaning against the front door, Ake snores blissfully away, oblivious to everything.
Some would consider the floor a terrible place to sleep, for her, it's very nice. Mostly dry, not on fire, no lice, no goblin...scat, very nice indeed.
Upon being woken up, Ake wipes the drool from her mouth, then the sleep from her eyes.
Cuddles quickly makes her way to the kitchen, then up onto the table and
"begs" for scraps of meat.
Well, I'm not dead...so nothing got thru the door. Good, good, yawn good.
Ioann Vilescu |
After gently laying Kendra in her bed, and closing the door after he left, Ioann headed for his on chambers were et drop on the bed and fell asleep (thus skipping on the late/early meal).
Upon waking up, Ioann, carrying is rebundled sword, walks down the stairs to join Terrance and miss Lorrimor. Upon entering, they can both hear his stomach loudly growling.
"Afternoon..." he says, before taking a seat and starting to serve himself some food.
Ingrid Van der Geist |
Ingrid awakens and breathes deeply, realizing that today promised to be a dangerous exploration into the darkness that seemed to loom over the town. Slipping out from under the covers, she stands up, the clothing she had removed the previous night Folded neatly at the edge of the bed.
She stretches, leaving the blinds drawn shut, and lighting a candle in the dark room, she sits cross-legged on the bed, sky clad as she uses the flame to draw her focus, reaching out to the spirit world, her morning ritual, part meditation, part communion with the Lady of Graves.
There was far more spiritual activity in Ravengro that she had ever encountered before, a sign of.... something, though she did not know what for sure.
Perhaps an hour later she opens her eyes, ready to face the day.
She rises, washing with almost ritual care, applying an appropriate perfume ,myrrh based, carrying the spiritual energy of final rest. She dons her armor, feeling the familiar safety that comes with preparing for war.
Leaving the majority of her gear in her room, she makes her way down the stairs to join the others, smiling at the sight of Kendra, busily preparing and serving breakfast.
Ingrid Van der Geist |
"Well, the prison is definitely haunted." Ingrid says, helping herself to a substantial portion of food. "There's a lot of information to be gleaned from the documents we salvaged that may help piece things together, but going back there we definitely have to prepare to face some ugly supernatural entities."
Terrance Foehammer |
No, I think it was someone a little more physical, but we will have to look further into it. Now if you will pardon me for a couple of minutes.
Terrance heads up to his room for about 10 minutes, and then comes back down.
Maybe someone can make better sense of these than I can. He places the burnt papers along with the gooed papers from the safe on the table.
This also came from the safe He then tosses everyone a small bag of 71 GP, 4 SP, 2 CP
Ravel Sigrún |
Ravel, after catching some rest, spends a little time getting ready before joining the others. She chats idly with Narcissa, but does not commune with her since she has not used any of the magics gifted to her since the centipedes.
At brunch, "There is unrest in the halls of Harrowstone, but I do not know if that unrest has crept into the rest of the town. I would not count the babbling monument defacer nor your father's end as coincidental... but I am not sure yet how or if they are truly connected."
Orin Gabor |

Catching the bag Terrance tosses to him, Orin looks in and smiles. "That'll do, Foehammer, that'll do. I also suggest that we head out while it is at least sun-up. The place may be haunted, but the windows should, at least, shine some light in, yes?"
Terrance Foehammer |
Shop first, then Harrowstone during the day. Works for me.
Lady Kendra, where might we find a general goods shop and mayhaps a smithy ?
DM Twilight |
Kendra, having glanced at Ioann when his name was spoken is still looking at him and seems distracted. When Terrance says her name, a blush creeps up her neck and she looks back down at her plate, "Hmm? Oh, yes. Well, I wouldn't mind getting out of this house for awhile myself today. Perhaps I can just take you there?"
Terrance Foehammer |
Completely oblivious to the byplay going on with her and Ioann.
Greatly appreciated lady Kendra
Edit, wrong alias
Ravel Sigrún |
Ravel rubs some of the dirt off of her skirts. "Yes I am ready, perhaps I could acquire a new outfit before my clothes are ruined by cobwebs and gravedirt." As she checks her belt and belongings she continues. "You should have seen Ioann last night, Kendra. If not for him we might still be trapped behind stuck doors..."
DM Twilight |
Kendra glances at Ravel out of the corner of her slightly narrowed eyes, "Is that so? Well, I am glad that he was with you then."
Terrance Foehammer |
Terrance finishes his coffee. I am ready, everyone else?
