Jamie giggles and swings the rope with glee.
Ravel continues jumping rope for a few more minutes, trading places with Jamie so she can jump in turn, before finally letting the rope stop. "Thank you very much for teaching me the song. I must finish making my purchases now. My friends and I have a few other places yet to stop."
Jamie's shoulders sink slightly but the smile doesn't leave her face, "OK, you can come back again to visit if you want."
"Well I'm looking for candles, wooden stakes, a hammer and rope if you have it." Ingrid says to her little guide.
After stowing his new purchases, Terrance heads out the door to observe the kids playing on the skipping rope.
Sarah takes Ingrid by several shelves. Candles there are plenty of, "Mah makes these." Wooden stakes are not a problem, and Terrance just sold them a bunch of rope so they aren't lacking for that now either. They have two small hammers, one is more of a hatchet with a flat side opposite the blade and the other is like a ball-peen hammer. If you want anything better than that, the smith's is the best place to go.
Ingrid completes her purchases smiling warmly. "You were such a great help, thank you so much little one."[/b]
Sarah smiles and blushes, "You're welcome."
So the Smithy then ?
Still keeping quiet and out of sight, Ake's appearance and race would send grown men it screaming fits.
She had no wish to terrify the children.
Genevieve's Perception
Out in the light of day, Ake finds it a bit harder to go unnoticed. Genevieve who took to turning the rope for Jamie when Ravel went back inside, notices Ake and stops turning the rope abruptly. About the same time, Jamie notices as well and forgets to jump. These combined actions cause the rope to slap Jamie in the face. Immediately, Ake is forgotten (for the moment) as the girl begins to cry and her sister moves to her side to check on her.
Kendra points to the Forge and then goes to usher the girls back inside to their parents, "I'll be just a minute, go on ahead."
Thank you lady Kendra Terrance then starts to walk across to the smithy.
Holding her parasol, Ravel walks beside Ake and Orin.
Entering the forge, you are met with the clanging sound of a blacksmith's hammer. The air is thick and hot in here, all sorts of metal goods are laid out on shelves and racks along the walls. A counter just inside the door separates you from the work area. In the back, you see a middle-aged female dwarf working the forge. She does not seem to have taken notice of you.

Ioann leaves the shop without looking back at the kids. As he heads toward the smithy, he notices the "incident" with the girls. After shaking his head, he walks toward Ake.
Talking with this monster was already bad, but this will be worse.
"Keep to me, hide your face in my jacket." he says before trying to pick up the goblin and hold her like a sleepy child.
"Make sure that insect doesn't sting me, for it will be the last thing it does."
Hello . . . Hello . . Miss, my friends and I wish to make some purchases
She glances at Terrance, "Just a minute, child. I'll be there in just a minute! I can't just walk away from it while it's still hot!" She continues to bang away at her work.

Ravel stifles a grin as Ioann attempts to coddle Ake. Then when the blacksmith calls Terrance a child her grin bubbles into a giggle.
After a couple of minutes, Kendra arrives. Shortly after, the dwarf woman quenches her work and sets it aside. She approaches the low counter, soot smeared all over her face and clothes. "Lady Lorrimor, it's a pleasure to see you again." She then turns to Terrance, "What can I do for you, boy?"
With a quick glare at Ravels giggle Terrance turns back to the smith
Ah, an Elder, it is my pleasure to meet you.
My name is Terrance of the Foehammer clan,
and as I said, my friends and I would like to buy some of your wares.
As well, it would be Torag's loss if you didn't finish what you were working on.
"Jorfa... just Jorfa."
"Have your eyes on anything in particular?"
I think we are just looking at sledges and crowbars

Eating a large crunchy pickle, Ake is interrupted by Ioann suddenly grabbing her.
Struggling to avoid being picked up, Ake attempts to avoid the grapple attempt valiantly and by beating Ioann with weapon in hand...a pickle.
No..no..NO..Ioann, you great blockhead. My feet work just fine..thank you..no..let me go...Cuddles, Stay...no thats my...mine...my leg, put me down...no down is the other way ...you..great..don't grab me there..watch the pickl...pickle, FINE, FINE...fine. You win..
After stifling her laughter at Ioann and his precious swaddled "toddler" Ravel looks to the female dwarf. "Goodsmith Jorfa, is something the matter?"
Ingrid's eye scan the smith's wares as they talk.
There are everything from the sledgehammers and prybars that you're looking for, to gardening tools, farming tools, weapons, and armor. All of it of good quality.

Although Ioann has some difficulties, being stroke repeatedly on the face by a pickle, he succeeds at picking and lifting Ake (by her collar). Once she is off the ground, he changes his grip to hold her with one arm under her bottoms and one around her shoulders and then brings her close to his body so she may burry her face in his coat. Still holding her, he bends down to pick up the pickle from the ground and stuff it in her mouth.
"Now play the sleepy kid so we may avoid getting you burned at the stake for being a goblin."
Only after Ake calms down does Ioann enter the smithy and stay in the back.
Kendra likewise fights the urge to laugh when she sees Ioann carrying Ake like a child.
"Nothing to concern yourself with, Miss." Jorfa says.
Orin, still in a bit of a slight daze but desperately pushing his emotions down.
Not noticing Jorfa's sadness, he looks around some. "You wouldn't happen to have any arrows on hand, Jorfa? I find myself in need some more."
"I'm not much of a fletcher myself, but one of the temple boys is pretty good at it. I make the arrow heads and he does the rest," Jorfa says pulling out a crate with arrows from off a shelf.
Ravel starts to speak then bites her lip and starts again. "Jorfa, my companions and I require sledges and prybars, perhaps a few wedges or pitons to keep a few old doors from shutting again. Do you have things like that on hand?"
"Oh yes, plenty of all of that. Easy enough to make, they are." Jorfa goes around collecting the various things you requested. The sadness you saw passed quickly, and she seems happy enough now going about her work.
"Thank you. We would like three prybars, a sledge, a grappling hook, and six pitons please."
"Excellent, do you have a cart or would you like them delivered somewhere?"
I am thinking that they just will probably be carried out of here. Terrance mentions with a deep grin.
"Suit yourself," She says with a nod.
"Yes, hopefully these strong gentlemen will aid in carrying our supplies."
Jorfa chuckles, "Strapping young lads, indeed. Anything else I can help you folks with today?"
Poking around, Orin nabs 20 arrows in the smithy. "I appreciate the business, Jorfa. And I will, of course, assist in carrying the supplies, Ravel." He gives her a small smile.
Reaching into a coin pouch, he produces the 1 gold piece for the arrows. "There you go, Jorfa."
From the darkess corner of the room, Ioann, half talking to himself, utters a few words:
"Bundle all the tools in a bag and I wil carry it..."
Ravel produces the coins for their purchases. "Thank you, Orin, Ioann. Shall I carry the wee one, then?" she grins as she looks towards Ioann.
