WELCOME! and HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Please place your chronicle information here in the usual format.
Name of Player:
Name of Character:
Faction:
Society Number:
Day-job Role: <-If any
This should be an enjoyable run. As fare as I know, we are in no rush so feel free to role-play and FLUFF as much as you desire.
A little side Note: Keep an eye on your PM's. I tend to send PM's for information that your character ascertains that other characters do not have access to. This does create a little more work on the part of the player, but it allows the player to divulge what he wants to share. That and it allows a role-play format for that information.

Thanks for selecting me, and hello again to those of you I've already played with before. This character will be updated in bits and pieces over the course of the day, though a couple pieces (prestige totals and boons in particular) will need to wait until I'm in the same location as my hard copy chronicles (tomorrow, weather permitting). Jane is also level 2 thanks to GM credit, so that will be reflected as well.
Name of Player: Dan Hennessey
Name of Character: Jane Doe Question mark is so the name was unique for the forum.

PFS#: 186188-2
Day Job: Prof. Trapper: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14
I've got a bit of shopping I intend to do before we get fully underway. I'll have the purchase list sometime later today.

![]() |

My information is almost entirely up to date now. The vast majority of the gear on my sheet is being purchased for the first time. The wand of mage armor will be a prestige purchase. Cure will be bought with gold, as will the lesser restoration (from the We Be Goblins 2 chronicle). I'll ask someone appropriate (most likely Otieno) to carry those two. The party is welcome to use them as needed.
This is one of my more complex characters, and it's only the second time I've played her (plus 1 XP of GM credit and 3 XP of pregen-only scenarios), so I'm still figuring out a bit of who she is. She's been working with Kreighton Shaine to figure out what caused her amnesia and tendency to hulk out in times of stress. OOC, I've decided it's the result of some sort of twisted experimentation, though I haven't narrowed down exactly who did it (there are so many cool/horrifying monsters and organizations that could be the culprit, it's hard to choose), though almost certainly nobody we'd encounter in the low tier.
EDIT: Actually, I'll need to adjust purchases a little further. Since first level wands aren't always available, I can't buy one just yet.

Thank you everyone for responding so quickly. I still need Otieno's info. Yes Jane Doe, that is a complex character to say the least. I had to read through it twice to get a handle on it's mechanic.
Because of the unlimited amount of down time between scenarios, I'm going to assume you have had enough time to arrange your spells to taste. That's taking into account that you have all the time you need to use spell recollection before the beginning of each scenario. If more than a day passes within a scenario, then we will deal with what spells you remember from the day before. I know at low levels this should't poss much of a problem, but I am considering a scenario progression that will hopefully build some continuity with the group. It will be interesting to watch Jane Doe grow.)

I have uploaded my boon, link is in my characters profile.
I have not yet found my sheet for Race for the Runecarved key. I think it might be lost in the two loose stacks of GM credit babies I have.
I have uploaded a screenshot of the credit applied to the character. As it was GM credit, the faction is incorrect but that's not a problem.
If I cant find the sheet I'll need to reprint one. In the meantime, it gives a flat 500 GP rate for tier 1-2, and as I GMd I recieved 2 PP (which I used to get a wand of cure light)

A heads up: I will be out of town from midday tomorrow until late Sunday. I should still be able to have internet access and be able to post, but my reply frequency may be down a bit for the next few days.
Looking forward to beginning our journey!

Nightfiend places a small crumb trail of cheese, which leads from the discussion thread to the gameplay thread.
Pfew you all took a running start!

Slightly confused, an to hit of 18 would hit sula as yellow is acting before her, so she is still flat footed, but she would not be in range for him to five foot step and end up in the corner where he is now.
Also, a scimitar normally has a crit range of 18-20. A 15 on the dice for a crit is possible, but usually not at this tier.

GM Nightfiend |

Oh ok, I understand now. I thought you began your turn closer then that. In this particular case, assume he delayed until you moved up to him and applied your attack. I will adjust him in the initiative order on my next post. Then apply his action. That means you now act just before yellow in round 2.

![]() |

Yellows health wasn't adjusted to reflect my attacks, not sure if that's intended or an oversight

![]() |

You are correct on the critical. I posted hastily and seen the total (18), which is not a critical. Corrected now on the game play thread. As fare as the move goes. Is the location I moved into the same location you moved from?
An 18 in itself would also not have been enough to damage Sula, as her armor class is 20. Unless I missed something else, she would not have taken damage.

GM, just wanted to note that there was a clarification on PFS recording for the Amnesiac archetype here. I know we're a long way from needing that, but just wanted to get it out there.

I noted John Compton's recommendation. I can list and initial what spells you have retained for the next scenario. I understand what they are stating, but I don't necessarily agree with the logic. If there is an unlimited amount of time available between missions, baring a back to back continuation scenario that throws you right into the next mission, what stops you from using spell recollection repeatedly to reassign your spells for the following scenario.

GM Nightfiend |

It is a mechanical challenge for sure. Ultimately, with the invisibility lasting 30 minutes, I don't see why she doesn't just walk away. That being said, the scenario gives specific instructions, for the most part, on what her and her eidolon does. Unfortunately, the scenario doesn't take into account everything and you run into contradictions from time to time. You just have to roll with the punches.

We coming close to the conclusion of part one. Those that have sent messages to me, stating that you where unsure if you intended to play through part two, are welcome to part ways after this final encounter without it affecting your chronicle. If you have changed your mind, and wish to continue on, you are welcome.
As I am currently working on the chronicles for part one, I will need to know which spells Jane Doe wants listed on her chronicle for the conclusion of part one.

![]() |

I'm interested in continuing. For my second spell known, I'll try to pick up burst of adrenaline.
Recall: 1d100 ⇒ 36 and it'll just barely work on the first try.
For the chronicle:
Spells Known: burst of adrenaline, mind thrust I

Definitely still up for Part 2.

Congratulations on level (3)
Unfortunately, Bloodcove is the only place to buy anything for some distance, so I'm going to say no on buying anything. The wagon has basic provisions and some munitions if needed. When you reach your designation, they also have some basic stuff as well, but their supply is becoming thinner by the day.

I'm at a convention from tomorrow through Sunday, so posting will be limited at best. Please bot or delay me as you see fit.

Understood Nightfiend. Let's just hope this one finishes string then, and congrats(? Good luck at least) on the job shift.
