Correct, Kyffin.

Withered remains of some strange creature -- it appeared to have four flexible and retractable appendages radiating from the top of a cone-shaped body -- lie among a handful of Ninshaburian trophies. Among these is a ring of djinni calling.

The room also has passages to the east and south.

Note the treasure above; don't want it to get get missed.

With Kyffin restored, you begin heading south through a 20-foot-wide passage. As you travel, the way is interspersed with eerie galleries, subterranean plazas, and series of niches more evocative of a catacomb than an urban development. Many of the passages don’t lead anywhere in particular. They slope up and down in unpredictable patterns, and in places they are split by perilous chasms that plunge deep into Golarion’s crust. The result is a maze with no rhyme or reason, where water seeps in from the crater lake and either pools in unseemly ponds or drains entirely into the Darklands. The only light is that which you provide.

Oddly, many of the walls seem to have graffiti carved into them, in a mishmash of ancient Kelish and Taldane dialects or scrawls as crude pictures—sometimes over past works, obscuring both inscriptions. As you make your way south, they read "And so Rovagug led me to Neruzavin and I waited..."

The tunnel broadens into a subterranean gallery carved from floor to ceiling with rudimentary depictions of beasts, volcanoes, comets, and bones. The three entrances all slope subtly downward into this area, causing stagnant, silty water to pool here. The water here is thick with muck and organic matter in advanced stages of decay. The outermost 5-foot perimeter of the pool is grimy but not deep enough to impede movement. All other squares average 1 foot deep and are treated like a shallow bog.

Yes! Tris will grab the ring of IDreamOfGenie and offer it to others. Is there more or something else? Are the trophies magical or worth looking into?

Tristain thinks its a graveknight, likely devoted to Rovagug. It is unlikely to be hurt by non-magical weapons. In addition, the iconography on the armor looks like that of an inquisitor. It likely has a number of magical abilities similar in some way to Starflit's. It is -- was -- an inquisitor, and has a number of inquisitor-y abilities.

"TO THE POLYPS, YOU POLTROON!"

Before you can follow the sword's suggestion, however, Lothan spots an oddity in one of the many carvings. As Tristain and the sword swap insults he investigates more closely and finds a secret chache -- which Kaklatath remember her? says must have been left long ago by her fellow Yithians. The room has few decorations, limited to several inscriptions in yithian identifying the musty bits of gear here and their functions. Despite weathering the years admirably, only a fraction of the gear is serviceable.

You can procure two handfuls of dust of appearance, a mantle of glistening metal that allows the wearer to grow a set of coppery wings (this functions as winged boots but occupies the shoulders slot), and a single set of 21 1-foot-wide silvery disks. These disks are a yithian invention designed to protect their adopted forms no matter what shape they take. Upon speaking a command word, the plates begins spinning, reshaping themselves, and binding to the user’s body over the course of 1d4+1 minutes, afterward functioning as mithral full plate of speed. Repeating the command word causes the plates to detach and stack themselves; this process takes 1 minute to complete the process.

Perhaps the greatest prize is an accordion-like device constructed of metal alloys with handles and controls at one end and a bright metal disk at the other. This is a yithian lightning gun, a powerful ranged weapon capable of firing bolts of electricity. Its long disuse has drained this gun of most of its power, but it is still capable of firing four shots before being rendered inoperable. Like most yithians, Kaklatath is versed in such weapons, and if you can return her to her alien form, she eagerly volunteers to aid them in battle with the gun.

Kyffin is impressed by the haul, "Wow. That's some crazy s!&% right there."

In the end he doesn't want any of it himself, and is totally supportive of Kaklatath having the lighting gun. He already has mithral plate, and so the features of the other suit don't particularly interest him. Speed would be nice, but he hands it to Al to see if he wants it instead.

"I'll keep us in the air with air walk most of the time, but flying is a step up in many cases. Anyone want to fly?" he offers the mantle around.

Continuing on about 8 minutes, you arrive at another cavern. It stone ceiling dips and rises with undulating unpredictability as it worms through the undercity, and a shaft rises up back to the surface. The hewn walls likewise seem unfinished, and heaps of rubble and gravel lie scattered about the area. Unfortunately, there seems to be nothing else here other than a combat not worth having, and you have to backtrack, taking one of the passages the graveknight came out of. Another six minutes of walking 22 total leads you to another chamber.

The eight thin columns here seem insufficient to hold up the ceiling of this trapezoidal room. On one side are three alcoves in which stand statues of cone-bodied creatures with savage pincers. On the other, a set of battered two-foot-thick metal doors stands open at the top of a low dais. The statues depict idealized yithians, each of which represents one of the yithians’ philosophical pillars: creation, knowledge, and travel, Kaklatath tells you. But the stone pieces begin waving their arms in warning when you enter the room. Kaklatath is not sure why after so many centuries.

The thing doesn't react to Al's question.

Tristain thinks they're likely some sort of graven guardian, constructs usually designed to protect some place. They likely would obey a yithian -- like Kaklatath -- but it would need to be in its own body, not the human one it currently occupies. They can resist some magic, and will be difficult to damage with anything but an adamantine weapon they have DR. These three likely empower each other, giving each some power of faith they each get a benefit from a domain, so in this case, possibly three domains.
