Kyson will begin sorting through the door pieces, looking for suitable makeshift torches and handing them to Finn for inspection.
"Finn, what do you think of this piece? Or this one?"
Kyson holds out a particularly wet and warped piece of wood.

Beyond the smashed door, a room, about 25-feet square with a five-foot alcove to the south and another set of doors to the east, stands revealed.
Also revealed, however, are five more zombies, obviously alerted by the noise, who quickly move to attack, jaws open as they reach for you.

Uh, Sarenrae, it's me, Kyson. Can you hear me? Kyson holds his holy symbol aloft.

Kyson's call to Sarenrae seems to bathe the area in a soothing, warm energy, but the zombies moan in apparent pain as it washes over them. 4 hp damage to zombie 3, 2 hp to the rest (10 total to zombie 1)
Silvio dances forward, teaming again with Sekathral as he slashes at the badly injured zombie. But the its head is nearly severed, it continues to move.5 hp, 15 total

Zstelian pulls his falchion and rushes forward to help Dargon, but his blow lands wide, only carving a sodden piece of armor from the zombie.
Finn's bomb explodes in the rear of the group of zombies, filling the damp cavern with a horrid stench of burning, rotting flesh. 9 hp to zombie 4, 11 total; 4 hp to zombie 3 (8 total); 4 hp to zombie 5 (6 total)
The remaining zombies rush foward, horrendous moans filling the cavern. Two more try to pile on Sekathral, but Silvio's able to protect the dwarf, though he's too harried to land a blow with any force.
The final one moves in on Dargon, taking another bite out of the monk and also holding on as he continues to try to tear the dwarf's flesh, ignoring Zstelian's attempt to keep him away. 5 hp damage, also grappled

Kyson throws a ball of flame at one of the zombies attacking Dargon, but his care to not hit the dwarf means he barely brushes the foul creature, inflicting a minor wound. 1 hp

Kayle takes a few chunks of flesh from the zombie as it falls, not realizing its dead before she swooped at it. She missed, so that's just a little color...
Finn pulls his spear out and waits for an opening in the melee.

Dargon launches himself into the other zombie hovering around Sekathral and Silvio, shoving it back five feet, but suffers a bite in the process, flesh being ripped from his shoulder blade.6 points damage It quickly closes with the dwarf and tries to bite him again, but Dargon's able to fend him off.

"Shall we begin to dig our graves here? And do we need to crack our own bones or is someone going to do that for us?" Kyson looks unhappy about having his bones cracked.
I wonder if I should offer to die last so I could perform last rites on all of them...but that might hurt.

Silvio's grave will be dug by strong men in earth made soft by the countless tears of Silvio's female admirers. It will lie on a cliff by the sea", the chelaxian announces. "Or perhaps in the garden of a great city. Silvio has not decided that yet", he adds after some thought.
Same question as Kyson. Is there a way out of here or is this room a dead end?

Silvio Callgari Pazzi |

The only unopened door is to the west in the crab room. Is that the one you meant?
Also, if anyone wants to back up before Silvio leads the way to freedom, I'm fine doing "then and now" for a bit. I like to keep the pace up when possible, but please don't feel you can't do something just because the game's progressing while you may be away from your computer.

Nobody seems to be paying much attention, so Sekathral swears, lights up and skulks behind the rest of the group consoling himself by mapping out increasingly unpleasant ways of getting his own back on Vanthus.

Sekathral, the bones look like they've been picked clean, with the marrow sucked from the ones that are cracked open. You do however find a potion bottle intact amid the debris, as well as a short sword and four gold coins.
Opening the door to the west, you find what appears to be a sea cave. Water, fueled by what must be powerful submerged currents, laps and splashes against the walls of the twisting cavern about 20 feet from the door.
A sandy slope descends from the door down to the edge of the subterranean tide. Dozens of purple and red sea urchins glisten in shallow divots along the ground and lower walls here, their spines glittering with sea water.
