Galen shifts uncomfortably as the threats of doing serious bodily harm to the captive are flung about. He knows that there are those who specialize in drawing information from miscreants, and that it is probably for the greater good, but it to his mindset, it doesn't appear seemly -- even if it just play-acting.
He waits before intervening, realizing he doesn't really know these people or what they are capable of, but silently insists that he won't let it get it that far.

Reknar |

"I say we tie him up before he soils his pants" - Reknar adds - "Don't care either way, but he may be worth more alive than dead. We will turn him over to the sheriff as 'non cooperative' and that's that" - he snarls at the man - 'I just do what I'm told' isn't enough" - then turns to the others - "Deal?" - he inquires.
If everyone agrees, Reknar ties him up hands, feet, and then hands TO feet, and throws him in the cart. Let's GO! :D

Reknar |

"All done" - Reknar nods at his companions - "Let's get this show back on the road"
I think we can get moving again?

Galen walks back over to his trusty mount and leaps back into the saddle. "So we are taking this prisoner and theses stolen goods back to town? And then setting back out for the bandit camp?"
Just making sure I am following the consensus. If we chose to head for more bandits, that's fine with me.

Reknar |

"I think we should press on a tad further" - Reknar ponders - "But these will start stinking soon..." - then nods at the corpses in the wagon.
Don't think MiniGM ever answered me what time of year it was, and if it was hot or not to keep the corpses around for a while longer.

Reknar |

"Aaaaah, you have a map - great!" - Reknar smiles at the others, as he tries to get his bearings and find some tracks.
Survival: 1d20 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 + 2 = 24

Nic "One-Ear" Rockborn |

The dwarf continues to chuckle over his intimidation attempt. Mumbling out loud, "Couldn't hold a straight face." His bushy eyebrows bounces up a bit as he puffs his chewed cigar. "You've a map?" he wanders over to Reknar's side and glances from under the half-orcs arm.
survival, untrained, map: 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 4 + 2 = 24
His scarred thick finger points, "What'ya think?"

Reknar |

"I think that's where I would head, yeah" - Reknar nods at the dwarf, then looks back at the cart with the corpses and the still living bandit, and chuckles also - "I was betting we could get him to soil himself... Maybe next time"

MiniGM |

Between the bits of info that you gather from the bandit and your map and knowledge of the area you are able to quickly discern that with a few hours trek you can make your way to the bandit hideout. The only place it could possibly be is in a series of caves to the NE. The caves are rumored to be haunted so people give them a wide birth in general.

With little map-reading skills of his own, Galen just shrugs and goes along with the others. He ties the a lead rope for the captive bandit around the horn of his saddle and follows behind the man.
"A cave doesn't sound like the best place to assault easily. I bet the entrance is a choke-point and not enough room for my horse to maneuver."

Reknar |

"A cave doesn't sound like the best place to assault easily. I bet the entrance is a choke-point and not enough room for my horse to maneuver."
Reknar and Nic had thrown him in with the corpses, but I guess that is more humane :D
"You are right. We will need some scouting done before moving in, lest we find ourselves caught between a rock and a hard place" - Reknar agrees with Galen as they move along, then begins looking around for Thorin - "Thorin, you think you could do that once we are closer?"
"'eard the caves are haunted." He touches his missing ear and growls, "Damn zombies, but light will shine." His other hand rubs the holy symbol on his chest.
He falls in line mumbling to himself.
"I doubt this lot has stomach to make their base on a truly haunted place" - the half-orc throws a sidelong glance at their captive - "Haunted places can get... Nasty" - while he absent minded rubs the tattoo of a rose in his forearm.

We dont need to worry about a chokepoint. You fellows get a good hiding spot and ill make a distraction to draw the bandits out."
He paused amd looked at their captured bandit.
"do you bandits post lookouts? Where do you post them? If you think about lying before i die so help me im putting a bolt in you.

Alexandra Beatrix |

And why should we believe you? Alexandra asks. Intimidate: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 25

Nic "One-Ear" Rockborn |

I bet he wishes he'd talk now. Nut'n like a woman's fury aft'r she's had time to stew on it a bit.
"If you prefer I could still smash the hand, it'll be less painful." He bellows with glee and smacks Reknar on the back.

Reknar |

Reknar seems as if he was about to blurt out something at Nic, but then he just chuckles at the dwarf and shakes his head - "By now I won't even know if he is telling the truth or not. I'm getting a bit lost myself with all the back and forth!" - then bursts into laughter - "I'll be over there in the shade once we are ready to go" - and moves off, still shaking his head and chuckling.

Men of action? Indeed, you all take a moment to hide, allow me to bring the Bandits into us then. Galen you think once I draw them out you and your wonderful horse might be able to block them from the cave entrance and an easy retreat into warrens?"
He began first by making sure his crossbow was loaded, then waiting till everyone had hid themselves he readied his horse and cart to drive about 40 feet from the cave entrance.
If no one has any other plans or moves to stop me I plan I driving right in front and calling out to the bandits.... and when they get into the open from their hole and closer to well the wagon, starting things off proper. who know maybe we can cut off their escape into the cave.

Nic "One-Ear" Rockborn |

Nic swallos the stub of his cigar as the candymaker proceeds forward, he then stuffs another one between his teeth just before striking the tinder. "I'm ready." He glances to left and runs his hand over his morningstar. "First, thing I'll do folks is bless this holy party that'll give you an edge."
Note: He'll cast bless on his turn once we get initiative.

With the cart in place he moved to stand in the back of it making sure he had enough space to duck if they bandits came out shooting first.
Crossbow set down he cleared his throat and then Whistled as sharply as he could.
"Ladies and Gents, Lads and gals Step right up to the most amazing tastes your tongue will ever touch. Today and today only The Amazing wares of the Candy Mountain company are here for your perusal. We have exotic confectionaries from Nidal! Decadent chocolates from the depths of Galt. Chocolate not your thing? I have some sinfully delicious sour chews from Cheliax... Come one Come all!"
He called out his voice carrying clearly over the quiet day.

They really are good! Alexandra calls from behind the cart, hand on her starknife.

"OH be still my heart. I think I hear the voice of an angel, come my lady, A special treat awaits for you, the finest of dark chocolates to cover succulant elven stawberries from the famed Kyonin!"
He called back hiding a frown.

Reknar |

"Boy's either very brave, or completely crazy" - Reknar shakes his head from behind a tree, while waiting for the moment to spring the trap.
Trying to stay off 'to the side' and out of easy sight from the cave, but close enough to get there quickly if needed.

Nic "One-Ear" Rockborn |

Nic chews on his cigar stub and he brushes his weathered fingers over his chest. "Blessed sunlight provide your protection through my unworthy body, and bless my good-natured companions." A puff of bluish smoke billows out of his mouth.
Bless: 50 ft radius, +1 att morale bonus, +1 save against fears.

"Ah well your loss then, those fellows down the way said you would love to try some of my treats, Your loss then. Guess I will just try that town then.
He began acting like he was about to leave.

Galen grits his teeth in impatience. If he had his way, they would do without these shenanigans, and just take the bandits by force. He double and triple-checked his armor, lance at the ready. He sat uncomfortably atop his mount, ready to rush in to close the trap, if it ever sprung...

Nic "One-Ear" Rockborn |

Nic blinks a few times trying to clear the smoke from his watering eyes. Wonder what would happ'n if I just stuffed the tobaccy between my lip and teeth. hmmm, interesting idea. Naw, doubt anyone would want th't it'd be too chewy. The dwarf's mind wanders off in a brief daydream.
Just bumping the game.
